If you're craving fried dough soaked in sauce with barely a trace of meat, go ahead and order General Tso's Chicken, Sesame Chicken or Orange Chicken. You'll be lucky if there's even 5% chicken in the "chicken" dishes. Also, if you're picking up your order yourself, make sure to check the bag before you leave. There's a good chance it won't be what you ordered. I've ordered from New Asian Panda more than once, always hoping maybe this time it'll be better. Every single time, I've ended up disappointed. :( I think I've finally learned my lesson -- this was the last time. I just can't keep wasting my money and patience on this place. We stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant one night looking for egg rolls, and they did not disappoint! They were so good we ordered two more. I eat Chinese food about 2-3 times a year. It's freezing cold outside and thought I'd do take out/delivery. Having not ordered here before I asked if I could get General Tso Chicken without spice. She said yes. I ordered that with fried rice. The woman gave me my price and before I could thank her, she hung up. I hate that. Say bye or something. The guy that delivered arrived about 30-45 minutes and he was nice. My rice was a little on the dry side but it tasted ok with the chicken on top. Overall it was o.k. Went to this place on Friday last week because my friend and I were having a girls night and we had been craving Chinese food (for pretty much the whole week). This was the closest to her house and she recommended it. We ordered through their website (pretty easy to use) and decided on their dinner specials. I picked their chicken lo mein with wonton soup and pork eggroll. My friend got their beef fried rice with egg drop soup and pork eggroll. Once the order was put in, we could pick it up within 15 mins. Easy drive, plenty of parking, and located towards the end of the shopping strip (more so across from Dunkin' Donuts). The only problem that we encountered with this was that they didn't give her her egg drop soup that she requested. She was a trooper and still ate their wonton. The beef fried rice and chicken lo mein were pretty good. It wasn't oily and I sprinkled sriracha sauce over my food for that extra spice kick. The pork eggroll was a nice finishing touch with the crispy outer layer. Love that it was fresh off the stove when we got it home to devour. This is our favorite spot for a tax season comfort lunch. Whenever our brain goes mash after a crazy morning, the whole office would come together and yell "Where is the menu of New Asian Panda?!" The delivery service is quick and reliable and always comes with some small treats. I haven't tried everything on the menu but definitely trying to. I always order the same Beef Mei Fun extra spicy. That would sure clear your Spring sinuses up. The owner usually have one dish off the menu everyday which is really good. Just had beef slices with Jalapeños today. And last week was curry wings. Received my delivery within 30 minutes on a rainy day, a plus. The driver was friendly and called as i requested before arrival, another plus. My orange chicken and spicy hunan chicken are so delicious that i ate last drip of sauce and cleaned the plates. Its hard to described that feeling, but my desires were fulfilled. The place is under new ownership, however I feel they have a lot to learn. I hope it will not be at the cost of their food, as I explained to them... the customer wants good quality food. I asked the Chef how often does he change the oil in the fryer and he said once a week. This is unacceptable, as the oil was bad on the fried dish they put in front of me. I explained to him, you cannot bring out a dish with oil dripping off of it. When you see this, this says the oil in the fryer is bad and needs to be changed. I sent my dish back as I will not eat a deep fried dish dripping in oil. I ordered the Kung Po dish, and the rice which came with it was a little soggy as though it had not been steamed long enough. If it was cooked correctly, than I have been eating over cooked rice for many many years. The Kung Po dish was good and hot. It was nice and spicy as I had ordered it. The hot tea was just warm and when I asked for a refill on water, she took my glass and just ran it out of the tap. No additional ice. I asked for "Ice Water" not just water. I know many do the Take Out with Asian Panda, however I like to have a seat and enjoy my meal without rushing home and eating it cold. The service was lacking in many respects and I felt like I had to wave her down to get her attention. The new owners are a young Asian couple, and I hope they learn from their mistakes without it costing them too many customer dissatisfaction. To me service is everything in a restaurant as well as the food. I will try Asian Panda again at a later date, in the hopes it will become better. If it does, I will up my stars, but for now I will just give them 3 out of 5. read more

Update: Just wanted to give a small update! The manager reached out to me, their chow mein is a different style than other places so it's what I got, I just didn't know. My bad there. Anyway, it was tasty. I'm adding another star since it was right and they responded fast. :) I just ordered from here earlier today through Doordash. They delievered ahead of schedule, so that was great! The food tasted good, especially for the price. It isn't ant place to write home about, but it was good for what it was. Unfortunately, when I opened my order, I had ordered chow mein, but what I had didn't have noodles of any kind. It was just beef with vegetables and rice on the side. Everything else was right, thought. Got the sesame chicken, fries scallops, and dumplings. By the time I opened my order, it had been awhile since it came, so I rolled with it. It was my fault for not checking really. It tasted good anyway. We live close by so I decided to give them a try. Ordered takeout for the whole family...chicken lo mein, mala pork, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup and a rice noodle dish that I can't remember the name of. When I went to pick up the food, I was surprised at how dirty the restaurant was and at how it smelled. We used to order occasionally when it was just called Asian Panda, and it was always clean. Now it looks like someone is living there and smells like it is never cleaned. Bottom line ... The food tasted okay, but given the state of the restaurant, I don't think I will risk eating here again. read more

I would absolutely recommend New Asian Panda especially during this coronavirus pandemic. I ordered from here a couple days ago for pickup. This restaurant is serious about health concerns of this virus. When picking up your food, they do no allow anyone to enter the restaurant. They have a table set up at the door (pickup station) which they've surrounded with plastic so outside germs do not enter the store. They have hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes on the table to sanitize before grabbing your to-go order. A worker plces the food on the table through a small slit in the plastic. Very impressed with the precautions they were taking. And of course, I was pleased with the food! read more

I really wasn't expecting to write such a mediocre review on this place, because of all the good ones. Even when opening my takeout boxes I thought, "This looks good!". Orange chicken- It was weird grisly pseudo meat, tons of breading. The sauce was good! No spice to it at all. Kung Po chicken - This was pretty good! Wonton soup - Wontons were mushy in the middle Hot & sour soup - The broth was good, but it was more like spicy egg drop soup. There wasn't much other stuff in it. Spring rolls- Mushy inside with a piece of green in it. Not sure what it was. Not good. Fried rice - This was pretty good! On the plus side, two combo dinners were$19. The people there are very friendly. I'm convinced I just need to try something different next time...and try ordering all white meat if they allow that. read more

Pretty tasty, and you get a LOT of food for your money.I decided to go to New Asian Panda tonight on a whim, since they have vegan/mock meat options on their menu and my old standby mock-meat Chinese place has been losing the battle with mediocrity. I ordered Spring Rolls and Mock Kung Pao chicken. The spring rolls came three to an order and were filled with a variety of veggies instead of the usual shredded cabbage. The mock Kung Pao had bite-sized diced gluten pieces, celery, carrots, water chestnuts and peanuts in a sauce that was actually decently spicy. As many have noted in previous reviews, the restaurant isn't much to look at, but it's a little family-run take out place in a strip mall. I've definitely been in worse. Good: lunch combo is about $7 comes with soup and egg roll. Egg drop soup and chicken and broccoli wasn't the best I've had but it was better than average. Bad: General tso chicken had no chicken it was 95% all flour. Sauce weren't bad but I couldn't find any chicken. You can ask for white meat for additional $2. No veggies and I tasted a lot of MSG in the food. They are nice people but I won't be back. read more

Was very pleased with our delivery order from New Asian Panda. Ordered the General Tso's, and the Sesame Chicken for my wife. Both dishes arrived hot and tasted very fresh. The General Tso's had a rather surprising flavor, much "lighter" than most General Tso's I've had, not too sweet, and a "warm" spiciness that flows from your mouth and into your belly. The white rice also had just the right stickiness and a tasty subtle flavor, a perfect pairing for our chicken dishes. If I had one complaint, it would be delivery time. From placing my order through their website (there are actually two) it took just under an hour to get our food. For food of this level however, it's definitely worth the wait. I would give 0 stars if I could! Ordered food from here and found a black hair fried into a piece of chicken my 3 year old son was about to eat! I called and the lady I spoke with told me she couldn't refund me only give me a store credit. I refuse to buy food from somewhere that gave me food that looks like it had pubic hair in it! She refused a full refund because she ASSUMED we ate all the food. She got very loud and nasty on the phone with me and told me if I bring all the food back she would refund it. This is a reliably good meal for a reasonable price. It isn't going to blow your mind, but it's a solid choice, and I love the consistency; you don't have to worry about getting something that you love and then being disappointed the next time around. The price is decent as well. I've never dined in, but there is the option. Normally when I go to pick up my food there are kids doing their homework at the booths, which for me adds to the family feel of the place. Everyone there is nice and courteous as well. Overall, solid, yummy food for a decent price. Having a Chinese restaurant that's located alongside a veterinarian also lends itself to some amusing speculation, which would worry me except the place is always clean, both in the dining area and kitchen. To make matters worse the food was awful and not dress at all. the beef lomein taste and smelled like fish, and the wings were days old and dry. NEVER AGAIN. We ordered spring rolls, wontons, chicken and broccoli and orange chicken, both with fried rice. All was very good - I'm leaving off one star because the wontons had pork or some meat in them. Aren't wontons usually cheeses and cream cheese? My husband liked them but I don't care for unidentifiable meats :) Also leaving 4 stars because my chicken and broccoli was VERY garlic-y. But tasty.
