First off I'd like to say that I ordered two sandwiches from this place; a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich and a turkey pesto on a croissant. Both were tasty but needed to be warmed, but that was expected since I order through Uber Eats. The banana nut muffin and the Red Bull inspired drink were tasty as well! ***** My only issue with this order was my triple shot of espresso over ice. Apparently there was some confusion about what I ordered, despite my notes specifically stating what I wanted. So I'm attaching a bunch of details to provide a better picture for the associates and owner of the establishment. The price of an iced latte is $5 that is the standard 16oz cup(w/no add ons) The price of 3 shots of espresso over ice is $3.25 (no add ons) | What I ordered: 1. Please add some milk and sweetener to the cup before adding all 3 espresso shots in. 2. Then add ice. 3. Whip Cream *I do not want an iced latte, but just enough milk so the espresso shots do not get bitter.* Please and thank you| Based on the Uber Eats app information: I should have been charged for the vanilla sweetener($0.50). Whip cream is a free add on and there isn't a set price for regular milk). If I was to order an iced latte that would be an extra $2 for the two added espresso shots and $0.50 for the vanilla sweetener. Once again regular milk is listed as free based on the Uber eats app information. So what I ordered should total out to be around $3.75( that's the 3 shots of espresso and the added vanilla sweetener) and as a reminder I did not want my drink to have a full cup of milk just a LITERAL splash to keep the shots from becoming bitter as this is a delivery order. Regardless that add on was not listed on the app but I put it in the notes with the expectation that I'll be charge whatever the amount is for a SPLASH OF MILK. If I had ordered an iced latte the total would be about $7.50 ($5= basic 16oz iced latte, $2= add 2 extra shots of espresso, and $0.50=the added vanilla sweetener). *Whip cream( based on the Uber eats app is free).* I understand that it seemed like I was trying to "cheat the system" and I hate the thought that someone would assume I'm trying to take advantage of a small business. I ordered from this place to try them out and the food was tasty but this experience was a bad first impression. I tried to be as detailed as possible to avoid any confusion and by all means I was expecting my total to vary because of my add ons. You could have easily reached out to Uber and explained that there would be an extra fee for the items I order and I would have been okay with that( like I said I was expecting my total to vary based on my add ons). But instead of doing that you wrote on a receipt your issues with my order. Then proceeded to fulfill my order. -JUST CHARGE ME FOR THE EXTRA ADD ONS!!! read more

I have tried multiple locations, some are good, others could have been better. New Brew Cafe was and currently is my absolute new favorite. The iced chai tea was EXACTLY what I needed for this busy work day. Other coffee shops often have watered down chai and have my tastebuds searching for that chai spice I was craving. I really enjoy the coffee here. great and friendly staff and good coffee. my main complaint in the area is that the coffee shops usually have great vibes but not the best coffee, but new brew checks marks for all of that. my only detractions are that there is a fair amount of inconsistency. light ice is rarely light, usually double what I'm looking for even when I ask for it to be super light. sometimes the coffee is really great, sometimes it's not nearly as sweet as other times. id say 50% of my visits are perfect, and the other times there's usually a significant flaw that detracts from an otherwise lovely experience and cup of coffee. The punchcards get punched differently depending on who's working, sometimes two punches for two drinks sometimes 1. I was desperate for iced coffee but couldn't leave work. I decided to DoorDash and this cafe popped up. I ordered the iced keto coffee and I let the merchant decide on flavors. The flavor is great the coffee is wonderful! They put these cute stickers on the lip part so you can tell if someone tampered with it. I took the photo after I opened the stickers. I like supporting little mom and pop shops over big franchises, therefore, on my way to work, had a few extra minutes, so I decided to stop by for Starbucks. But then I thought, maybe I can yelp a hole in the wall coffee shop on my route. Sure enough, there was New Brew Cafe. There was no line in the drive thru lane except a homeless man who walked away when he saw me. Server wasn't very chatty or friendly. I ordered a medium 2-shot macchiato with "very light ice please" which was supposed to be $4.00. What I got: a cup full of ice. Macchiato? I don't think so... it was overly sweet because the cup was full of caramel... since when does a macchiato come with caramel?? I didn't get a receipt so I went on my Bank app to see how much I paid - $4.50. Now, 50 cents is just pocket change, but clearly I did not get or pay for what I actually ordered... Was not impressed at all with my ice-packed-caramel-drowned-supposedly-macchiato drink or with the service provided. Found this place a couple weeks ago because the Starbucks I normally go to down the street was crazy crowded and I had to get to work. All I ever order from Starbucks is an iced coffee with a splash of coconut milk and 2 stevia packets, asked for the same exact thing at New Brew, and was pleasantly surprised that it tasted BETTER than Starbucks! It is more expensive, $4 vs $2.75, but I'd rather support a small business anyway especially if it tastes better. Calling in my order has been pretty easy and convenient, and is preferred from what the nice lady working there told me.
