Unfortunately, things started to slow down after that. It took quite a while for someone to come back and take our order, and then it took even longer for the food to arrive. At that point, my first impression was definitely starting to change. We ordered the carrot cake for dessert, and while it was delicious, we once again had a long wait before it came out. Unfortunately, waiting for food and drinks became the trend throughout the night. As far as the menu goes, there was a good selection of food and drinks. I went with the Cobb Salad as a wrap, while the rest of the group ordered the fried pickles, nachos, and the Eureka! American Burger. The fried pickles were a hit, the nachos were pretty good, and everyone enjoyed the burger. Overall, I liked the atmosphere, menu selection, and the food we tried. However, considering the prices, the service didn't quite meet my expectations, especially for a Wednesday night. The long waits between ordering, receiving our food, and getting dessert took away from what could have been a much better experience. I'd still be open to coming back because there were definitely some positives, but I'd hope the service is more consistent next time.
