It was after 10 p.m., and the General Manager, Mariah, had already clocked out and was ready to head home. Just as she was leaving, a sudden rush of customers arrived. Instead of heading out, she immediately put her things down, stepped back onto the floor, and started filling waters and taking orders to help the team keep up. I stayed for another hour, and she was still there working hard. It was truly one of the most selfless and impressive displays of leadership I've ever seen in a bar. If you're looking for a great atmosphere, the food is incredible--the steaks and Philly sandwiches are easily the best of any bar in town. Other bar owners should definitely take notes on Mariah's example when looking for a top-tier general manager. Highly recommended!
