Outstanding brunch spot with extraordinary staff…read more I cannot stress how awesome this place is. We went on a whim the last day of our lil seaside vacation. The server pulled our chairs out, the host was kind and smiley and our waitress was so down to earth. Mila the founder was also here greeting guests haha. The decor was nice, lots of flowers and girly things, my wife loved it and took pictures. The breakfast burrito was killer, the lavender lemonade while not very purple was out of this world. This will be a new staple every year when we come for the week. We look forward to next year when we will return, the locals should be very happy they can dine here whenever they want lol

There was…read moreliterally no line, yet the woman working the front acted like she had never worked there a day in her life. She didn't even properly take our number, and the entire process was ridiculously unorganized. Then the food came, and somehow it was even worse. Everything was bland, mediocre, and completely underwhelming. They forgot our two eggs, so we had to WALK BACK just to remind them. When they finally gave them to us, it wasn't even the full amount we ordered. Seriously? Ain't no way this was 2 eggs it felt like nothing. And apparently getting basic things like powdered sugar and butter was too much to ask. There was no powdered sugar, no butter, and the coffee was absurdly sweet. Nothing about this experience felt properly managed. The service was rude, the food was disappointing, and the entire place felt completely unorganized. For what we paid, I expected at least the bare minimum. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Seeing the reviews made me believe this place would live up to the stars but it fell short. I wouldn't recommend eating here if it's past opening and even better skip the restaurant completely.

It's cozy, friendly, and genuine -- the kind of place where the staff greets you like a regular even if it's your first visit, and the locals make you feel like you belong at the counter. Service is fast and always with a smile, and the food comes out just the way diner food should -- hot, hearty, and no-nonsense. They know how to cook scrapple right (IFKYK), and the hash browns are absolutely spectacular: crispy edges, soft centers, cooked to perfection. The eggs taste fresh, the home fries have that golden crunch, and the coffee is smooth with no bite -- exactly how a real diner cup of coffee should be. It's not just the grown-ups who love it. My daughter can't get enough of their pancakes, and my son goes straight for the sausage every time. Everything feels made with care, not rushed or overcomplicated -- just honest, quality cooking served by people who clearly take pride in what they do. Between the friendly atmosphere, great service, and consistently solid food, Tootie's II is the definition of a small-town gem. Whether you're passing through or live nearby, it's worth pulling over for breakfast or lunch -- a must-stop in the middle of downtown New Egypt.

Didn't get refills on anything until we asked. Not much seating, but a decent small town diner with regulars who do entertain x3 we enjoyed the food, price and ambiance... just felt a bit out of place since it was our first time, totally felt like an outsider. I Would recommended their loaded homefries/hash. They were well loaded!

We just tasted it and skipped the rest . Open face Mediterranean sandwich was a tad better. Bread was well toasted and veggie filling n balsamic added some flavor n texture . The side chickpea salad was not bad . Seemed to have good walk in traffic but everybody had some delays or some kind of issue with the food . Maybe it was a bad day for the staff . Ambience was bright and nice with additional outdoor seating . Service was slow and not very hygienic. When we shared feedback about the missing veggies in the veggie sandwich , the hostess was understanding and apologized. Offered a complimentary dessert which we refused as I did not find the baked good appetizing ( given the flies that we noticed ) There is street parking and few spots at the back of the building Overall not a place I would return. We left the place a bit hungry .

Nice ambiance and very friendly staff. I ordered the full stack of French toast with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, and a side of sausage links. Our friends ordered the chorizo burger with fries, and pastrami on rye with a side of coleslaw. As a coffee snob, I would say the coffee was very good. Everything came out cooked fresh and hot. Plenty of fresh fruit on top of my French toast. I heard the chorizo burger was different and delicious. Most of the plates went back clean. Portions were very generous. The service was excellent and friendly. The prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in their private parking lot. Worth the trip if you are in the area.
