Our unexpected visit for lunch was a good one. New Garden is set up as both a takeout restaurant and for dining in. We opted to dine in and sat at one of a row of booths. The menu listed both lunch and dinner prices for a long list of familiar dishes. I like Chinese food and it had been long since I had some. My favorites anymore tend to be nuggets of chicken with various sauces so today I had their Orange Chicken. I liked it, the chicken was tender, the sauce not too sweet. It came with a side of rice, I selected their pork fried rice, and a spring roll. Didn't care for the spring roll very much, it had a mushy texture inside. New Garden is not a fancy place but it was clean and the food was good. Service was fine and got the job done. The warm food was ready in under 10 minutes.

I would have showed you the best fried pot stickers I ever had but my son and I eat them too fast! This is the best Chinese food we've had since moving to FL. The service was equally as great as the food. The dinning area was very clean. Highly recommend this place!

Your normal everyday Chinese take-out place menu. Except the interior is not-so-bad and there is plenty of seating. Located in a Publix plaza with an Aldi in the parking lot, the convenience is unavoidable during those busy nights when you don't feel like cooking dinner. The most interesting fact about New Hong Kong is the tiny little portion of the menu titled, "New York Chinese." Which contains various Salt and Pepper Dishes, Gai Lan, and Steamed Fish Filets. As soon as you receive the Salt and Pepper dish, open the container and let it vent--- otherwise the deep fried goodness will steam and become soggy. Their chicken wings also have a hint of yellow curry and the crab wontons are not sweet.

Best option for delivery in the area. Good food, good price, and nice big portions. Spicy means spicy too.

I love their food. It's fresh, has many good veggies, seasoned well, AND they will serve brown rice if requested!

Service was good. Food was mediocre. Place had an odor and I smelled like smoke after leaving.

Their egg rolls are incredible & obviously homemade. I had the seafood soup with Udon noodles. They actually have the soup & udon separately! That way it's not overcooked & mushy. Excellent! The beef with mushrooms and Crab Rangoon was all very very good. I definitely have my new GO TO Chinese Restaurant.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!…read more 8/20/2026 was my first and last visit to Nam Fong. The experience started off poorly. Before I even paid, the woman at the counter asked if I wanted a receipt, which I found unusual. I said yes, but after charging my card $54.64 (plus the tip I added, bringing the total to $60), she never gave me one. While waiting for my takeout order, I started thinking the total seemed unusually high. I grabbed a menu and added up my order myself, only to realize I had been overcharged. When she brought my food out, I asked if the receipt was in the bag. She said yes and essentially rushed me out the door. When I got to my car, there was no receipt in the bag, so I went back inside and asked for an itemized receipt. I explained that I had been overcharged. She then said she had accidentally charged me twice for a beef and broccoli plate. I only received one beef and broccoli in my order. She offered to give me the difference in cash, but when I asked what my card would ultimately be charged, she became confused again and wouldn't give me a straight answer. She continued trying to rush me out, which made the situation even more frustrating. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable leaving the tip I had originally written on the receipt. I had to take the store copy and cross out the tip before finally leaving. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience from start to finish, and I regret not going to my usual Chinese takeout spot, China One on Cortez Road, which I highly recommend.
