I like it, Not too fancy. I get to relax and rejuvenate, I normally purchase the one for massage and get the table shower depending on mood.

I had such a great experience at this newly-opened-spa in Pasadena! From the moment I walked in,…read moreeveryone was incredibly welcoming. The receptionist, Nancy, was so warm and friendly, which set the tone for the whole visit. Crystal, who worked on my hair, was amazing She was very attentive to my needs and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She even provided a mini facial and a soothing neck and arms massage during the service--both were extremely relaxing! I enjoyed my visit so much that I ended up purchasing their gift certificates because I definitely want to come back to try their full facial and massage services next time. The massage studio is conveniently located right beside the spa, and I learned they share the same owner, which explains why the experience feels seamless and well-coordinated. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to unwind and be taken care of by genuinely kind and skilled staff!

I agree with the other 3 star review here. It's okay, but not anything special…read more Parking; Came at 530pm on a Saturday and had to park on the curb at Tierra Mia because the lot was full. Noise/Vibe: SOOOO incredibily noisy. I came in a minute before my appointment and the workers were frantic, running around and speaking anxiously and it wasn't a huge deal, no one was rushing them and they were still checking out the previous appointment. Then they asked me if I wanted to buy a gift card for a couple hundred dollars (it was my first time there???). Also tried to upsell while I was on the table and again at check out. This was the biggest thing. The whole point is to relax and even when I was in the room I still heard the customers and staff talk so loudly. Other places I've been to always have quiet signs and the staff also speak softly. The facialist was slamming boxes in the room and also had to refill the water twice (never had that happen ever) Facial: Was okay. Average products. She used a suction thing and rather than drag it on my face she tapped it and pulled at my skin. She also caught my nose ring after I told her I had one and she was like "oh it hurts?" and I was like yeah when I have something pull it hurts. She did do extractions which was nice but said the time would come off my massage, which I did appreciate about the communication. If I needed an "emergency" facial, maybe. Otherwise I'd just drive to Wi Spa or Korea town and get the whole vibe for the same $100

I've been to a lot of massage places. Some ghetto. Some luxurious. But rarely do I actually enjoy…read morethe massage. Until now. My sister introduced me to this place but several of my colleagues have also recommended Beautiful Day. I have fallen in love! An hour massage here is like HEAVEN! From the moment you walk in, Dustin or Jason will happily greet you, have you fill out a quick form to circle all the spots you want focus on, and then they walk you to your massage location. I've had two different gals massage me and both are exceptional! I have zero complaints! Pressure was amazing, pacing was great, technique was perfect. I just love it. I took my mom today and she usually is like "meh" after a massage but after coming here, she could not stop praising them! It helped her sciatica so much! She said all the tension in her leg and head were gone! It's a small place but it's so clean, so welcoming, and so professional! The only thing I will mention is you need to leave early so you don't get caught up in Pasadena traffic. There is a parking structure nearby that has dedicated spots for Beautiful Day and it's like a 2-minute walk. I will be taking my mom and sister back here often. Thank you, guys!

I had Cindy today and she exceeded all my expectations! Her massage style was the perfect mix of relaxing but strong. I have chronic back pain and I felt so much relief. This is going to be my new go-to spot for massages!! Dustin at the front desk was so friendly and made me feel welcome and Cindy was just amazing. I can't wait to come back.

I am finally admitting that their is no place with greater consistency and breadth of treatments…read morethan Burke Williams and I drive monthly from Las Vegas; currently on a six month program for the ULTRAfusion facial backed up by at-home H2V skincare, (the BW skincare brand). I made the mistake of needing to depart after the treatment and moving forward I will allow ample time to enjoy the facilities. I am a fan of the shower amenities, the jacuzzi and sauna, the quiet room, the delicious tea and healthy snacks. The ULTRAfusion facial has transformed my skin and at 71 I was due for some transforming! I had had damaging deep laser treatments at other facilities and it was simply damaging my skin, not helping it. I kept thinking that stronger is better and I was wrong! I can honestly say that I don't recall when my skin has looked better. It is my goal to visit all the Southern CA locations; next stop is Sherman Oaks...see you there!

Upon…read morecheck-in, the young lady who checked me and was really nice didn't get her name, but it said esthetician on her name tag. She checked me in told me a little about the facilities. It was great. Dana was my massage therapist and it was a really bad experience. She did attempt to target areas that I told her were more painful. However, I couldn't focus and relax during my massage because she had a rolling chair that she continued to roll around while giving me a massage. I have never had anyone sit down while giving me a massage. Also, she was moving the table up and down and the noise of the motor/hydraulics was not allowing me to relax. I also couldn't help but the amount of noise while I was getting a massage from the hallway. I kept thinking she was going to stop rolling the chair and moving the bed up and down, but it just alternated throughout the entire 50 minutes. I was counting down till the time that it was over. This killed my whole experience I just left the spa didn't even utilize any other amenities. While checking out, there was only one man up there. He appeared to be maybe the manager and there was a really long line may have waited close to 10 minutes to be checked out. When I was checking out, he asked how was the service? I said it wasn't that great. He responded by giving me my total didn't inquire one bit. This was very disappointing as this was a graduation gift to me for my receiving my doctorate. I was hoping to relax I heard this facility had really great reviews, but very disappointing honestly

Upon arriving, I was greeted by two wonderful employees. I checked in and went to swing on the swings outside until I was called back. My amazing masseuse Sam took care of me and really made sure that she took the knots out of my problem areas. If you want a massage for a decent price, this is it! You get top notch service at a fraction of what they charge at the Langham etc. My husband already signed up for membership

She let me know that I could use it online and to book there. I wasn't sure why she couldn't book it over the phone, but just let it go and booked online. The day before my massage I got a call and a text asking if I could change my appointment time to 15 minutes earlier. I let them know the day of my appointment that it was fine. When I walked in there were 3-4 people behind the counter. They offered water which was nice but it was room temp/warm. I then had to fill out a long intake form which I wish I could have done online. They handed me an iPad with no base or stand so I was just holding it and typing. I hurriedly finished the intake which is the longest massage intake form I've ever filled out. There was a very awkward introduction to my massage therapist. The whole check in experience felt like it was everyone's first day. The room where the massages are done are shared, similar to a foot massage place. They had an ocean sound playing, but it was so loud that I couldn't hear my therapist when he asked me questions. I could occasionally hear other people talking which snaps you out of the relaxation zone. The actual massage was good. I got The Now, 50 min with added deep tissue. The total with tip was around $185. At that price, I'd rather pay a little more and go to a place that has more amenities and feels more like an experience. When left, they gave me the breakdown of the membership which feels like a timeshare pitch. If you're not a member you're basically overpaying. Even at the member price I don't know if it's worth it. Parking is free with validation, so that was nice.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was upsetting enough that I feel obligated to share it…read more I came in for lymphatic drainage while recovering from multiple back surgeries and after an eight-year health journey that I finally feel I am at the end of. I explained this to Kevin at the beginning of the appointment and told him that I finally felt like I was beginning to heal. His response was simply, "(hopefully)." That set the tone for the entire appointment. Instead of feeling supported, I felt judged and interrogated. Kevin quizzed me extensively about my lab work and health history and repeatedly questioned the supplements prescribed by my naturopathic doctor, calling them "trendy" and asking if social media was influencing me. Quite frankly, I found that appalling and incredibly unprofessional. I have spent years educating myself and am under the care of practitioners I trust. I did not come in looking to defend my health choices. What bothered me most was the speculative health advice. At one point, Kevin palpated my abdomen and suggested I may have fatty liver. I found that extremely speculative and inappropriate. I came in for lymphatic drainage, not to be given unsolicited opinions about my health or to have my medical history debated. Kevin didn't even ask where my recent surgery was, or to point it out. I had three in the same area in under two years. At one point, I had to ask him to relieve some of the pressure as it was hurting greatly given my five back surgeries but most recent one involving soft tissues. That area is extremely sensitized. I would think more care would have went into my treatment. I greatly flared for days afterward. Within minutes, my nervous system was on high alert. I wanted to leave almost immediately but kept hoping the appointment would improve. It didn't. By the time it was over, I was overwhelmed and just wanted to get out of there. I didn't say anything at the front desk because three women were walking in for appointments, and I didn't want to ruin their experience or have a confrontation. I later reached out privately and explained everything in detail. To Alice's credit, she did issue a full refund. However, what I found equally disappointing was how the situation was handled afterward. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of how uncomfortable I felt, and no empathy or compassion shown, even after I explained my experience in detail and later pointed this out directly. How do you not sincerely apologize to any client who left extremely uncomfortable and more traumatized? ....I left there nauseated from the experience with Kevin. I wasn't planning on writing a review. However, the way Alice handled the closing of this matter--the absence of empathy, compassion, or even a simple apology--left me feeling compelled to share my experience. There are so many talented lymphatic therapists out there. Healing requires trust, compassion, and feeling safe with the person treating you. I have no doubt that most people can find a much more calming, supportive, and empathetic experience elsewhere. Do not waste your time or money here.
