**Honest, Skilled, and Truly Above & Beyond** If you're looking for an auto body shop you can actually trust, I highly recommend Alex and the team at New Impressions. About a year ago, AAA referred me to Alex for a small job to buff some paint off my vehicle. It wasn't a big repair, but I immediately noticed how professional, honest, and detail-oriented he was. That stuck with me. Fast forward to about five weeks ago when my SUV was hit by a snowplow and suffered significant damage. When the insurance appraiser first looked at it, he believed it might be a total loss and told me to go to the shop to pick up my tags. As you can imagine, that was pretty discouraging. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable and bi- lingual. I love the fancy VIP style waiting area when I am there for something like an oil change. The prices are much more reasonable than Mercedes and just as good plus they treat you like a valued customer. You'll be hard pressed to find a more affordable synthetic oil change in the DMV area! Alex charges only $40, which is quite the steal! I called other places around Rockville and Potomac and got quotes in the $100-$130 range for the exact same service for my 2010 MINI Cooper. He also replaced my fluids on the house and changed my air filter. I was very happy with his prompt, professional service and his honesty about what i needed to get changed immediately versus what I could wait on. I never got the sense that he would try to pull a fast one and convince me to get extra services for his profit. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family! Next time I need an oil change or any other work done on my car, I'll definitely come back to these honest, hard-working guys! I was at wit's end with what I hoped would be a do it your self job but it turns out my old car needed a bit more expertise and skills than I could offer. On a whim I stopped by this little place near my gym and spoke to Alex. His estimate to fix my trunk's support / lid struts (they broke off the chassis) was reasonable so I paid up front and made an appointment for the following ( post holiday week) to have the repair made. Alex did the job at a very reasonable price and went so far to shuttle the car back home which was greatly appreciated. I'm from Brooklyn and on my way to Florida I had a very minor accident ( at least I thought so). It was Saturday evening everything was closed my wife and my three children in the car and I'm at Maryland !!! We called Waren from New Impressions Collision, and 30 minutes later we felt that we met an angel. He was so professional and cool, we knew immediately that we are not going to give up our vacation. The next morning ( Sunday) we met Alex at the shop, or should I say doctor Alex, the second angel and together they did everything to help us in anyways. The bottom line, two honest and professional expert, and above all, kind and generous people. I absolutely love this auto shop! I have been coming since 2010 when I was first driving my Mom's BMW X5 SUV, Alex fixed the stereo and other mechanical issues that were not working. I was very happy with the results and the explanation of what was done to the car. My second experience was when I purchased my first car 2006 325i BMW sedan, he replaced my door and my rear bumper as well as fixing my front bumper and repainting. The end result looked fantastic and I was pleased with the work Alex and his team did. I have also been back with my new car 2013 Toyota Camry and he always seems to know exactly what's wrong with my car just my looking at it or asking me to describe the problem over the phone. "I Do Not" Recommend this collision shop to anyone. My Experience at this shop: I took my 2010 Ford Explorer which I have recently purchased in March of this year 2016. Due to an accident in which occurred earlier this month in October, I took my vehicle to get repairs done at New Impressions Collision Center. Keep in mind that I have just bought this SUV from the Lexus dealer. The SUV had no prior damages when I bought it, but as a result of this accident damages were very obvious, since the main point of impact was to the right front lower end of the vehicle. The front bumper was split at the corner along with other parts like the splash shield, Radiator, Rt Front Wheel etc... When I took my vehicle into this shop I spoke to the "Alex Hernandez" (owner) of the shop with respect to the damages that were sustained. I mentioned to him all the details as to how the accident happened so that he had a better understanding as to what measures he needed to take in order to re-establish the integrity of my vehicle, as well as providing him with my Insurance information. After repairs were "supposedly completed" by New Impressions Collision Center, Alex the (Owner) called me to let me know that my vehicle was 100% complete. I returned my rental vehicle and picked my SUV from the shop. When I drove my SUV off the shops lot, I felt a serious vibration as I begun to increase the speed. When I came to a complete stop at the light down the street from the shop, I also noticed a bad odor which seemed to smell like Radiator fluid coming inside the vehicle. I immediately gave the shop a call to explain my concerns but since it was late in the evening the shop had closed and I had no other option than to just take my vehicle back home that evening. The following day I contact Alex the (Owner) to explain the situation at hand and he just kept leading me to speak with my insurance agent at Allstate refusing to take care of his absolute poor workmanship. I felt " Very Frustrated" that the owner kept sending me to speak with my insurance agent at Allstate as if it was their fault. After reaching out to my agent, I explain the situation and I asked him what I should do in this case and he stated to me that Allstate had not performed any of the workmanship and their for the shop had the responsibility of taking care of the situation. Unfortunately the owner did not want to continue with any repairs due to his "POOR WORKMANSHIP" and advised me to hire an attorney because he was not going to take care of the problem. Ladies and Gentleman you have been advised, "KEEP AWAY" from this shop unless you want to find yourself in the same situation. Unfortunately I have to Rate this business with 1 star, if it was possible I would give this shop "NO STARS AT ALL" for their despicable service. read more

I have been coming to New Impressions since before they moved to this location, so for about over 6 years. They have worked on my BMWs, Mercedes, Chrysler, Nissan and Fords. And have sent him referrals that other shops either wouldn't do or were outrageous in price. They have done from my regular oil change to fixing my car after being involved in a car accident, to those unwanted breakdowns. And every time they have come through. Very professional, very well priced and prompt service!!! My car suffered a small damage after a car accident and i needed to change the fog light. The bumper was a little scratched off, but not noticeable since my car is black. Found New impressions collision center on yelp and liked the reviews so I called them up (I must say that I called 3 other shops, but was prompted to leave messages). I spoke to Alex on the phone and he told me that they gave free estimates. So, I went there the same day (around 5pm) and he was able to order the light that same day. He didn't try to make me change my bumper just so he can make more money off of me. I got a text the next morning around 09:30 that the part was in. He replaced it for me the same hour I got there and the best part was he didn't even charge for replacing the light since he said it was such a minor service!!!! Also, I must say the customer lounge looks quite nice and clean for a body shop. I strongly recommend this shop. Alex is just the best! read more
