The Paneer Marsala was delicious. The waiter friendly was friendly and the food was hot and served very promptly.

This is a great place for Indian food! One of the best in Columbus for sure. All the dishes are really great from apps to mains to breads. The service was very friendly and quick. The restaurant is in a plaza on Bethel and has a good amount of seating (all indoors). I will definitely be going again whenever I visit next!

    Cutest Indian restaurant ever!

We had an early dinner here after running some errands on Bethel. It's such a cute spot! Service was friendly and prompt, menu is great and I was pleased to see it's woman-owned and she's the chef, too! Food was great - I had paneer masala and hubs had chicken aloo masala. We each had a naan, one garlic and one onion. Everything was flavorful and the naan were fresh and hot. I only wish I'd saved room for dessert! We had plenty leftover for a yummy lunch next day. We'll be back!

I have had their food before and I loved it and that didn't change for this time either. The food is absolutely delicious here. However, the service on the other had was totally 180. We were seated right away soon as we arrived. There were 2 other guests at the restaurant when we arrived. We waited about 10 minutes for our server to come back to take our order. We ordered Aloo Naan, Vegetable Pokoras, Chicken tikka and Mango Lassi. All the food were just delicious, but it took a while to get our food, about 15 minutes. We received all our food except for the mango lass. Halfway done with our food, I had to ask the server about the Lassi, and then we got it right away. I think he just forgot. No one came to ask if everything was ok or not after we received our food or if we needed anything else. Once we were done with our food, we asked for the bill and couple of boxes to go. Our server gave us boxes but it was way to small to fit anything and had to ask for a bigger box, which took about 15 minutes for us to receive. I would have been ok with all of this if the place was super busy but it wasn't at all! There were plenty of tables at this restaurant and only 3 tables had guests, including us. If you only care for the food and not the service, then the food is worth it here, but don't expect much when it comes to the service.

I visited New India Restaurant recently. Firstly, the ambiance was horrible, lacking any charm or comfort. The manager's attitude didn't help either; it was far from welcoming or accommodating. -Paneer Tikka Tandoor was ruined by an excessive use of food color -Daal Tadka had too much turmeric -Aloo Naan lacked freshness -Mirchi naan was not naan it was more of a paratha -Veg Pakora was good -Plates were not good and broken We ordered malai kofta and server told me here is your korma - I said we ordered malai kofta and server is like it "looks same" LOL. The serving process was chaotic, with the server asking us to move our dishes while serving food. Our supposedly spicy dishes lacked any heat whatsoever, leaving us unsatisfied. Overall, New India Restaurant failed to deliver a pleasant dining experience, and I wouldn't recomm

We went to the restaurant on Friday night, they got busy real quick! The food was great, we got an appetizer, Alloo Tiki, so good! I love the black sauce, the green one was more veggie/cilantro and my husband love that! Yum yum! I also got the butter chicken, the chicken was soft, I can't eat a lot of spicy so my order was mild and it was so good, creamy sauce was so perfect especially the RICE! Rice wasn't dry at all! I can eat more and more rice here Everyone at the restaurant was nice, it was a great Friday dinner!

The buffet is back! The food is carefully prepared and beautifully presented and extremely flavorful. There are plenty of vegetarian and gluten free options. The service is kind and professional and the restaurant has been newly renovated. The buffet is offered Friday through Sunday from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Come and enjoy the best Indian buffet in Columbus!

Wish I knew about this wonderful restaurant sooner! The place was beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly. They had a nice selection of dishes with the ability to customize your spice level. I had the chicken vindaloo with garlic naan anchovies it was delicious!

Dine in | Dinner | $20-30 Tried this place with my husband while on a day trip through Dublin, Ohio. The food was exceptional, hard to find north Indian food like this back in Chicago. We had Chana Saag with onion kulcha and lamb kadhai with garlic naan. Both the curries were delicious. I love that there was no cream put in the curries. The ambience was decent. The servers were very hospitable and attentive. The bill was worth every penny. MUST TRY AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

Ordered the butter chicken, lamb shahi korma, garlic naan, and aloo naan to go. Everything we ordered had great flavor and spice level. The spice levels increase fast so be careful when ordering! Great portion sizes for the price and everything was ready quickly.

As a person of South Asian descent, I do not say this lightly, but this is the best and most authentic Indian restaurant in Columbus. It took us a while, but we finally made it to New India Restaurant on a cold winter night. Since this was our first time here, we tried a few different menu items, although it was a struggle to narrow down our choices from the extensive menu because everything looked so good. The chai-biskoot (milk tea with Parle-G cookies) is a staple in the South Asian culture, and it is a must-have here. We also enjoyed the mango lassi drink. For appetizer, we tried the Papri Chaat, which was tasty and was also a shareable (among 2) portion size. For our main course, we ordered the Chicken Tikka (comes with rice and a small salad) and the Chicken Korma (comes with a naan bread). We also ordered Poori (deep fried breads), and they came out warm and delicious. Chicken korma is not a dish you will find in a lot of Indian restaurants, and that's a shame because IMO it's a great and unique dish. Also, it's actually an authentic Indian dish compared to, say, the chicken tikka masala, which is not an authentic Indian dish. At New India Restaurant, the chicken korma was fantastic, and we all loved it. The star of the show, however, was the Chicken Tikka, which is the best I have had outside of the Indian subcontinent. I know the founder of this restaurant was originally from New Delhi (his family still owns and operates the restaurant), and despite decades of presence in the Columbus market, they have been able to hold on to the true Delhi tikka flavor profile. I will come back here just for this item again and again. Our service was excellent, efficient, and polite. The manager (her family has owned and operated this place for 22+ years) came out to check on us and was kind enough to give us a brief history of the restaurant. The place is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with Christmas décor. Most of their menu items here are halal. There is also a bar with various regular as well as specialty drinks. The place may be a bit pricey compared to some of the other Indian restaurants in town, but the portions are big, and the flavors are better than anyone else's. I will definitely be back.

I stopped by here a couple nights ago with one of my coworkers while on an out-of-town work trip…read more Despite being a Monday, the place was actually pretty busy. Regardless, we were seated right away. We were given a spot at a high top inside but adjacent to the open windows for some fresh evening air and a nice cooling breeze. Unfortunately, service throughout the night was a little spotty. The first round of drinks took a while to come out, the app went missing, our server (who seemed slightly less than enthused all night) took the liberty of snagging an extra one for us, and then our entrees came out right at the same time. I started with the sunrise mojito. Being a bit of a rum snob, I am particularly picky when it comes to rum-based drinks and this one did not disappoint. Probably one of the best takes on a mojito I've had in quite a while. I eventually followed that up with the peach bourbon smash, which was also tasty but pretty heavy on the peach and less on the bourbon. To get started on food, we ordered the street corn nachos. Now, I do love street corn, but something about corn on top of nachos on paper doesn't exactly sound like my personal first choice. However, since my coworker was putting the food on his company card, he went that route. Man, what a mistake I made in my assumption. Absolutely amazing. Gooey cheese, excellent flavors, and not too much to fill you up. My coworker got the shrimp capellini, which looked excellent and he agreed it was solid. I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich (a gochujang aioli? Come on). The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was indeed crispy but also quite juicy. The fries were also delicious being slightly soft, slightly crisp, and not too salty. All in all, a couple service hiccups aside, this was a really fantastic place. I definitely will be sure to make my way back here if I find myself on another work trip for sure!

Easily the best restaurant in the Bridge Park area! The quality of food for the price is unmatched…read more I've been here a few times and have always left with a happy, full belly. I've gone during brunch for my most recent visits and can't seem to stay away from the breakfast tacos. I think what makes the tacos stand out is the fried chicken. It's deliciously crisp while still maintaining an excellent moistness. Add that with gravy on top?? 10/10! I find that two tacos is plenty especially considering the side of potatoes. Highly recommend this dish! The true star of this restaurant is the biscuits, whether it's the cheddar & scallion or the cinnabiscuits. I truly don't think I've had a better biscuit in Columbus. They're THAT good. You can't dine here without ordering one of these options. I love the environment and how friendly all my waiters have been. During each visit, a manager has come up to our table and chatted with us about our experience. Very kind people! An incredible establishment all around.

Our server Kelcie, who was 5* by the way, helped us in navigating all the intricacies to the ingredients. Lots of nuance to the menu. Our choices: lamb appetizer, black cod, sirloin, and chocolate mousse; each were tasty, presented well, and excellent dishes. The potato cake on the steak was very different and well done. Our Old Fashion had a nice taste. The place is very small and reservations are a must. The GM Michael came by and chatted us up...to thank us for coming, and glad they were able to accommodate our food needs. Nice touch. Excellent bathrooms. Thanks for that. Be prepared to spend $100 per person. Welcome to the Columbus culinary scene.

The small cozy atmosphere was a delight to enjoy a wonderful meal and conversation. The drinks were exceptionally great and since I'm coming from California, very affordable. The food was delicious, especially the braised beef croquets, chicken friend mushrooms, whipped ricotta, and sourdough. The pork collar and the tare squash were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I requested the sommelier to recommend a wine that would compliment our order and the Domaine de Ferrand Chateauneuf - du- Pape a fine French wine from the Rhone Valley was our selection. This was a beautiful bottle and fine selection. John, our server was the perfect gentlemen and server with great personality and full of customer service.
