Food was pretty authentic here. I like the fish in black bean sauce and special fried rice. I'd come back to try more. They only have a few tables so people mostly seem to call in to go orders. But we were able to get a table for dinner at 5.

This is the best Chinese takeout I have had in a very long time. Chickens and beef was very tasty and high quality rice is flavorful, hot and sour soup is perfect and tangy. 10-10

I've been looking for a good Chinese food restaurant nearby for quite some time and thankfully, this hidden gem is only a minute away from me. I can't believe I've never tried this spot before.. everything that we ordered was not only made fresh, but was absolutely amazing. The quality and flavor were top tier and it will definitely be my new go to spot moving forward. I already can't wait to eat my left overs later. The restaurant itself was extremely clean and well taken care of. Those working were polite and provided speedy and friendly service. Amazing food

Kung pao chicken, fried rice, and an eggroll on my plate. I ate half for lunch and the other half for dinner.

I was a regular customer of Bamboo Garden for years. A few months ago, the name was changed to New Jia Wang. Apparently, there was an ownership change to go along with it. I finally got around to trying them out last Tuesday (9/30/25). I'm glad that I did. I ordered a lunch special to go which included an entree (that I assume was a little smaller than a dinner sized portion), fried rice or steamed rice, soup, and an eggroll. I chose kung pao chicken, fried rice, and hot & sour soup. The kung pao chicken was delicious. It was savory/spicy but not too spicy. I noticed that there were mushrooms in it. I don't see that in kung pao chicken very often. I'm a mushroom fan so I thought they really added a little something to the dish. And... in case you're wondering, I think the kung pao chicken at New Jia Wang is better than what I was getting at Bamboo Garden. The hot & sour soup was very good too. It really hit the spot. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly. He took my order and told me that it would be about 10 minutes. I don't think it took that long. They were pretty fast. Overall, it was a great experience. I will definitely go back.

Very clean and spacious. Food was not greasy and it is very good. Portions are shareable and enough for 2-3 people. Definitely worth it.

Really good Chinese food. After Dragon 99 in Montclair closed down we found this gem.

For those who haven't experienced it before, it's an AYCE salad bar, soups, and other prepared foods. They have two locations. One is in Chino, the other here and Rancho Cucamonga. This location is wildly popular and the line never dies down until they close. We came in the middle of an afternoon on Sunday and it was still at least a 30 minute wait. Their system is very efficient. A staff will let a limited amount of people in at a time to keep the salad bar line clear and moving smoothly. In between groups of people that are let in, the ones behind the counter will restock items that are low and wipe down the counters. That makes the place look clean all the time. Once you enter, grab a plate or two and a tray and create your own salad. They have many types of veggies with several types of dressings. Then you'll pay at the end of the line at the cashier station. They also have about 4 to 5 different types of soups, few types of muffins, baked potatoes, fresh cut, fruit, and a few other items. Soup n Fresh is a total nostalgic place for me because the last time I went to a place like this was before the pandemic of 2020, and everything tasted just like Souplantation, from the clam chowder to their ranch dressing. The experience brought back a lot of memories when I used to run into friends all the time. I hope they will open more locations towards San Gabriel Valley area.

All the salad ingredients and the soups are delicious and fresh. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is due to the miserably uncomfortable metal chairs with zero back support.

We placed an order for pozole, a tamal, and chorizo fundido. While waiting, my daughter kept saying she was very hungry, so I politely got up and asked our server if there was any item that could come out a little faster for her. The server responded that nothing would be ready in less than 15 minutes, which I understood, and I returned to our table. Our server then came to our table and explained that Sundays are very busy and asked if we wanted to cancel our order. We said no and continued waiting while explaining to our daughter that it would take some time. However, she continued asking if we wanted to cancel. Shortly after, she told us she had already canceled our order because I had asked about the wait time. I was surprised because I never asked to cancel the order -- I only asked if anything could come out sooner for my hungry child. At that point, we realized our food would take even longer because the order had been canceled, so we decided to leave. My partner commented that it was upsetting the order had been canceled without our approval, and the situation escalated quickly. The woman, who later identified herself as the owner, became very loud in front of customers waiting at the door, which was embarrassing for us. I tried calmly explaining to a customer near the entrance what had happened, but the owner came back, shut the door in my face, and told me I was never welcome there again, claiming we "always make problems there." That statement was completely untrue. We had not been there in over a year, and we had never had any issues during previous visits. So she is such a big liar. We ended up going to Casa Rubio's instead, where we received great service and enjoyed good food :) We are foodies and never had an issue before at any other restaurant ...
