I was enjoying it until multiple hairs were found in my food . the chef needs to wear a hairnet which I saw she did not.

Very friendly service, delicious/authentic food, reasonable prices…read more I like the lamps inside too - it's a vibe! I came with two friends on Saturday night for dinner around 7. They were able to accommodate us, walk-in, but it was poppin'! Everyone loved their food. Standouts were papaya salad, egg rolls, nam khao, drunken noodles. Wish I could eat more lol to try more but portions were great too. Gotta come back and try more of the menu! I have nothing bad to say besides there's only one bathroom stall per gender. Highly recommend if you're in the area craving Lao/Thai food.

Pad see ew pork 8.5/10 - delicious flavor but would prefer more char on the noodles. Green curry chicken 9/10 - great, Chicken wasn't overcooked, flavor was great. Thicker than I've usually had it Sakoo 10/10 - first time having it and it's delicious. Tasted like a Vietnamese bun bowl in one bite. Sticky rice 10/10 - small portion was big enough for 2, perfect stickiness & cooked perfectly. Overall, this might be my go to Thai restaurant. Pros the portions are great & worth the price point, the food is delicious to the point I'm gonna have to try everything on the menu & I'm the type that usually sticks to the same dish when I like it. Servers are attentive for how busy they are, great alcohol options. Cons - very loud, you cannot hear each other at your own table, food comes out dish by dish & can take a span of almost 30 mins for all food to come out. Got my sticky rice like 10 mins after my curry. It's hot in there & very busy so it's def hard to get the server's attn. Sitting by the door also sucks bc they're so busy so the door is always opening & there's not much space for folks to wait so they're kinda standing by you waiting lol. Not a romantic spot per se but can be if you can block out all the noise and ppl

The peanut sauce that came with the shrimp spring rolls was super good, but little pricey. Vegi spring rolls are cheaper. The price is reasonable ,but when you start to add protein that's where the price goes up. Everything is so expensive now, so I understand.

This was our first time here, and I am glad we changed our mind to try this Thai restaurant,…read moreinstead of our initial plan. The green salad roll, for starters, is very fresh and the peanut sauce is a bit different from other Thai restaurant I go to often, in such a good way, that I was scraping the bottom of the sauce bowl! Their taro puffs are STUFFED with taro! The sauce is a perfect pairing with the taro puffs, however, the puffs are packed with flavor that even without the sauce these are scrumptious! The roti are a must when we eat in Thai restaurants, so we made sure to order this also. The rainbow trout was my fav dish. I enjoyed it so much that I ate every last bite after my family had finished their meal. Service was excellent. They continuously checked on us and our food was served promptly after ordering! The vibe of the restaurant is family and date friendly, including solo dates! I love seeing people treating themselves out, which I saw this evening when we dined in. When you go in, make sure to stop to look at all the lucky cats and adorable figurines! The only reason I gave four stars is because they didn't have mango sticky rice when we ordered this for dessert, and we were told mangos are not in season, however, we enjoy mango sticky rice at other Thai restaurants and the mango is still ripe and delicious. Also, the pad see ew was very salty, so we asked if it could please be redone. They were so busy by that time, that the wait time would've been too long, so they offered to just take it off our bill, which we agreed to and we appreciated their honesty. I look forward to bringing friends next time and would like to try out more items from their menu, and reorder the taro puffs!

Decided to try something new so we got the 745 (fish curry) and 855 (vegetarian duck with vermicelli)-which were both great as well! Perfect to polish off dinner with fried banana ice cream. The owner is also very nice and customer service here is always excellent! They do tend to get busy and there can be a wait during popular times, so be prepared to possibly wait. Even on a Tuesday afternoon, they can be packed!

The service can be a little slow, just because it's only one person working, but he's pretty quick and attentive. They get quite a lot of to-go orders, since their location is quite small, but it's a nice little restaurant to get their lunch menu special! My go to is their yellow curry over jasmine rice, with a glass of Thai Tea! The parking lot is a little small, since it shares with two other businesses.

Definitely did not disappoint in the quality and variety of food available here. One thing I missed was the fact of how well rounded the variety of ingredients in each entrees were and this place gives the exact same quality if not better. From other Thai places I have tried in the past the quality of the curry, noodle, rice, and special entrees were all over the place but this specific Thai places has my trust in across the board goodness. As a pescatarian and vegetable appreciator, this Thai place specifically will be in my tops due to the good variety of vegetables they include in their dishes while other places have more limited vegetables included in the entrees (i.e. one or two mediocre basic vegetables) which in my personal opinion makes the dish less interesting and less complete feeling. In addition, I was super pleased and thankful for the combo menu which was the PERFECT choice for me and my friends since we all wanted something a little different but having the bonus of an individual sized appetizer and regular drink is something I am always appreciative at restaurants since many people love variety for a more complete feeling meal experience. Absolutely will be coming back to slowly try the whole menu and will be my top pick and recommendation for Thai in Alameda.

I've never had Burmese food before and finally got to try them on this last visit. We ordered delivery from them. Even if they gave an estimated time of an hour wait, I don't think it even took 30 minutes, which was great! We ordered a good amount of things including the star of the show- laphet thoke, the tea leaf salad. I've never had this before but I will sure be dreaming about it until I return. It had the best flavor and a good amount of crunch. Did I mention the portion was big?! We also got a few entrees including Burmese style curry chicken, sesame chicken, and another chicken dish. Also, the second star of the show is their coconut rice. I've never had anything like it, the right amount of sweet with their savory dishes. Everything was so good and fresh and delicious. I'll be dreaming about this spot until I return!
