Brewery #433 New Realm on the Beltway is in a busy, walkable area. You have to pay in the parking lot connected to the building, but I don't think they own it. New Realm is more of sit-down restaurant than a typical brewery. We sat at the bar and I order a flight. Their flights have 6 beers, woohoo. Most of the beers were just ok but 2 stood out for me; Hazy like a Fox (I am sure you can guess the style) and the Oaxaca Choca Mexican Imperial Stout. There was a lot going on with the stout. We ordered some Hummus and it was solid. The space was very nice. The indoor area was classy, and the outdoor area was relaxing with great people watching of everyone walking down the beltway. read more

The rooftop view is beautiful near sunset. However, their beer options are so limited, and not a lot of circulation. I remember coming last March for the Super Bowl and they had more beer options. There's nice lighting and tvs upstairs too. The downstairs area has a lot of seating from outdoor and indoor with service. There's also a photo booth outside! I've had the Mac and cheese (quite thick and rice) and Asian style loaded fries. Both dishes although appetizers ($~15/16) are definitely filling so plan accordingly. The pulled meat was flavorful with a lot of the sauce pooling at the bottom. They could've been slightly crispier. read more

I went there yesterday, sat outside , the food was good , the folks bringing me my food seemed nice and kind, same with the folks cleaning up. The bartender fellow was pretty terrible and pretty much ruined my and my friend that was with me's entire experience. We waited in line outside to order, after our turn came the little point of Sale terminal touchscreen thing(tilts and pivots) was facing us showing another customer has just finished paying and it had a green checkmark The I think he was a bartender had wandered off, didn't acknowledge us at all, and was talking to another bar tender for upwards of 5 mins, so I assumed because it was a touchscreen and was facing us it was self-service. So I hit the x on the screen to close out of the other customers transaction, and the bartender rushed over and started berating me with "what are you doing you don't touch that" and even had the audacity to ask "you didn't put anything in did you?!??" At which point we explained and placed our order with drinks took the flag with the table number to go sit down After which, the bartender came to our table and was somehow even more of an asshole, and told us that "you're supposed to wait for these diet cokes I can't bring them to you" We were both quite angry. This person is awful. I don't know why anyone would behave this way with customers. It's not acceptable and reflects quite poorly on the establishment that this person works there. I LOVE this spot! Good vibes and even better views. New Realm Brewing sits along the lively Eastside Beltline trail and offers local eats, house-crafted beer (and cocktails), live music, and a dog-friendly outdoor space along with fantastic skyline rooftop views. We were also told the burger and wood-fired pizza are excellent, but we were just there for drinks. All of their spirits are made in Georgia which I think is super special, and they also make their cocktails with local ingredients. Enjoy Gin? Just a great spot to refuel when strolling the ATL beltline. We quench our thirst here and love grabbing a beer. I highly recommend trying the chicken nachos, they're packed with flavor and I was craving crispy chicken strips. I've been to New Realm several times already to have a good sense of the place, and overall, it's a pretty solid bar! It's pretty massive with plenty of space to sit. There's a huge front patio (this is typically where trivia takes place on Thursdays), space inside, and a rooftop with plenty of heaters to keep you warm this winter. Funnily enough, I'm not a beer drinker, but they have some cider and cocktail options that due the trick, but I've honestly had better. As for the food, I've really only ever tried their smokehouse burger, Asian-style loaded fries, and chocolate chip cookie skillet. The burger is super juicy and perfectly cooked, while the sauces and crispy bacon married it together. I've tried the Asian-style loaded fries (pictured below) twice now, and I honestly don't recommend it unless you like your char siu pork to be drenched in salt. It was nearly inedible both times. As for the chocolate chip cookie skillet, it was delicious, I practically inhaled the whole thing! The thing that honestly keeps me coming back is just the overall vibe of the place! It's always lively since it's right on the Beltline, very staff member I've encountered is so chill and great, and it's just such a fun spot to just chill out with your friends! read more

New Realm is a solid bar to hang out at along the beltline. It is very spacious and you can almost always find seating. I love their rooftop area, and right now during the winter time, they have a lot of heaters making it really enjoyable to be up there and not even need a coat on. They have a variety of beers and now have added some cocktails, cider, and seltzer to the drink menu as well. Their food is okay - nothing bad but nothing to rave about. My friend got the Asian-style loaded fries but unfortunately the meat was dry and the fries were soft. Another friend got a burger which came with a side of fries and those were crispy so it seems like they just load a lot of sauce onto the loaded fries that make them soft and cause them to get soggy really quickly. read more

Oof. I loved New Realm in Virginia Beach so I was excited to try the one in Atlanta. Unless they're not the same? Either way, one cider, one seltzer. Not great for us gluten free folks. We sat outside upstairs and it was nice. Only one bartender though and they were decently busy. Staff are friendly. Cider and seltzer we had were good! Location is good but you have to pay for parking! My complaint is when I went to use the upstairs bathroom, there was no toilet paper, no paper towels, blow dryer didn't work... not impressed and disappointed. read more

There are a variety of beers and yummy food options to choose from and the location off the Beltline is so conveniently located. Love this place! The vibe is super cool -- industrial décor, tons of space, and lots of spots to hang out. They have a huge outdoor area on the ground floor and another large patio on the rooftop, which makes it perfect for groups or just grabbing a drink in the sun. I've only come for drinks so far, and while I really enjoy hanging out here, the in-house beer catalog is pretty meh. They do serve outside beers with a wider variety, and those are usually what I end up going for. Their food menu looks interesting though, so I'll have to come back and try it sometime. That said, it's still a great place to grab a few beers, and I've even had a solid time working from the brewery during the day -- plenty of room and the energy is chill without being too quiet. There's a large attached parking lot that's $5 for 4 hours -- not terrible, but honestly it should probably be free considering there's free street parking just outside the lot. Overall, awesome spot with great vibes and tons of space. Solid 4 stars for the atmosphere, but the beer lineup could be better. read more

On our last day in Atlanta we decided to ride scooters on the beltline and came across this brewery we checked out the menu and it seemed pretty good so we stopped to eat. The food was great and the service was even better. We got a burger and the chicken sandwich and both were very tasty. Our server recommended some drinks I got one of the specials and when he brought it he said he put a little grenadine in it even though it usually doesn't come that way because it's pretty and I'm glad he did! Our son and DIL just moved to ATL and had been here last time they were in town and wanted to take us for Valentines -- glad they did! The four of us ordered wings, a burger, meatballs with grits, and the fish and chips. The atmosphere was great, a chilly night outside but they had fires lit along the bottom porch -- but we ate inside. The ambiance of this place is so nice from the outside. The host was exceptional and so welcoming. She had multiple people coming up to her asking questions but she handled it very well. There is a walk up bar which is nice in case you don't want to sit inside. We decided to sit inside and there was no wait at all. Our server was terrible unfortunately. He was so dismissive. He asked the same questions multiple times. He forgot anything he asked us about multiple times. However, it was a full house so we didn't think much of it. I think the food just topped the whole night off. We shared the fish and it was completely flavorless. The portion is huge if you can even make yourself finish it. The inside is spacious and industrial but also there is a lot of outdoor seating right next to the Belt Line. The staff was super friendly and service was great. I will say staff was super friendly. But that's all I can say for what I liked. I went with several friends on a busy Saturday night. We were able to order at the window then find picnic seating outside at the lower level. Food was brought to us and did come out in a reasonable time. Together my party ordered nachos, fries, a burger and wings. I did not order the burger so I can't speak on that. The nachos, while looking presentable, were very sub par. Absolutely no flavor. The wings the same. The loaded fries, not sure the name, were actually decent. There was a kind of Asian sauce on it which was a nice surprise. But as a whole, that was the only thing that was worth eating. Staff forgot about one of items ordered in my party so we had to wait longer on that. New Realm has decent beer--not amazing; there are better breweries in Atlanta, such as Scofflaw and lots of the smaller ones. The staff is always cool and helpful, and the food, while typically slow to come out, it good quality (try the turkey sandwich). I would give it a four, but the parking is absurd. They have a parking lot that is empty most of the time but charge $10 for parking at all times. You cannot just pop in if you are in the neighborhood or you will pay more for parking than your beer. It used to be $3, which was annoying but tolerable. $10 is unacceptable. No wonder they are empty on a Sunday afternoon when every other place I visited was slammed. They need to fix this--parking should be free during the day unless you want valet. May not go back due to this change in parking pricing. read more

This place is in a prime location on the eastside beltline. It has a nice rooftop with a great view of the trail and there's a lot of space with both upstairs and downstairs...though the rooftop does get filled up fast. I'll also say if you go to the beltline in the afternoon, it is extremely hot on the rooftop when the sun is out if you don't sit under any sort of shade so that's not great. However, I feel like it's a good vibe here. It's a good place to go for day drinking and they are known for their mac & cheese, which we ordered and I included a picture of. The mac & cheese has a sweet taste to it and is very cheesy and definitely good. The people I introduced to it enjoyed it as well. Honestly, no real complaints about New Realm, other than it was packed and ordering took awhile. We stumbled upon this on the beltline and decided to give it a try, since we were hungry and it was a really nice day. They had outside seating with self-service available if you just ordered at the window (you did have an option to sit and be tended to by a server). Waiting in line to order took long because there was only one person ringing people up but the actual ordering was super quick. We sat outside and the area was truly beautiful. There was live music and a pond! The good seats (shaded ones) were taken up quick but we lucked out and found a good one. The food came out relatively quick and tasted good. The beer was also really tasty and refreshing. There's also a rooftop bar with a really nice view of the city. All the outside seating was taken, due to it being such a chill vibe. All in all, definitely recommend for something chill to do, just beware that the busy days, well get busy, so go with patience and a good attitude. read more

The downstairs is huge and could accommodate a large group if needed. I always park near the skate park on the beltline, so I'm not sure if this place has parking specifically for it. They have a large menu, but I haven't eaten here in a while. The drinks are decent, although nothing to really write home about. I love that you can take them to go from the window directly on the beltline! I'm not a beer girly, so I can't speak to their beers but I know they operate a brewery there as well. New Realm is a great place to stop at for food and drinks. It is very kid friendly. There were more kids than adults when we were there it seemed. They also have a very large outdoor area for kids to run around in. There were so many good sounding options on the menu it was tough to pick. My wife had the hot fried chicken sandwich and I went with the New Realm burger. The hot fried chicken sandwich was delicious. The chicken was a perfect crisp and had tons of flavor packed into every bite. It went perfect with their homemade ranch, which was so good. My burger was one of the better I've had recently. It kind of reminded me of a very elevated Big Mac. The meat was cooked to a perfect medium rare and went perfect with their burger sauce. They used a solid brioche bun, which held everything together nicely. On top of the good food, they had a ton of different beer options to choose from. Saucy and cooked well Meh Brew house Cobb salad . Didn't think the cheese did the salad any justice. Blue cheese should be used A burger with bbq sauce (the name escapes me). Was under seasoned I didn't select this restaurant as a first choice and it wouldn't be a place I would typically go to. People probably go for the beer which i don't drink. Came on a Friday around 8pm and went straight to the rooftop. They had live music and we absolutely loved it! Perfect views of a sunset on the Beltline. My husband and I both got the New Realm burger and while it was tasty, we were disappointed by the size. Old pictures showed a bigger burger with 2 patties but this is definitely the type of burger anyone can finish in one sitting (I'm usually known for taking half my burger home). My sweet potato fries were good and so were the regular fries. Parking: they have a paid lot on the side of the brewery but it's around $5 for 2hrs so not bad. read more
