Chicken Breast Teriyaki Bowl
Preet S.

Chicken in both bowls was extremely overcooked. It was tough to chew and had the texture of jerky. I ordered greens with double protein in my bowl, but the bowl ended up half-filled with water from the vegetables, which made it seem like the veggies weren't properly strained before being added. The second bowl had the opposite issue barely any vegetables and mostly rice. Overall, the quality and consistency were disappointing.

I waited in the car lol we came in the last 30 min before they closed and the food was prepared fresh and hot! AMAZING. I can't wait to come back. I got noodles veggies and the spicy teriyaki! It was delicious! Shout out to the chefs please never change what you're doing lol. We got some eggs rolls and shared some crab Rangoons OMG! Like I said i can't wait to come back. Also highly recommend this gem. Worth the price. Every bite.

We started coming to the restaurant Jean & Jay ran in Dublin five years ago, and followed them to Livermore when they opened in July 2024. When we come we always order the Seafood Pancake. It is like no other. It is crispy & bursting with squid, crab, etc. It can serve four comfortably as a side dish or a main dish. We like to pair it with fried chicken if it's only hubby & me. This is our staple faves but have also enjoyed the Army Stew, Bulgogi, Tonkatsu, Gimbap, BIbimbap, Ttokkboeki, Short Ribs & Tofu soups. We've never been disappointed. We do refrain ordering the Army Stew or Tkbokkboeki if there isn't at least 4 pax in our party. The portions are large. And yes, they serve at least 8 types of banchan with your meal Service is always friendly & when Jean is around, expect that she is circulating & chatting with the patrons. The dining hall is spacious, well lit, comfortable & stylish. We've sat in most of the tables, it is always a great dining experience!

Malatang is a Chinese staple food, it is like pizza, chicken wings or bbq, you have to try to make it bad. The main differentiating between them is ingredients and broth. The main broth (Tomyum) is pretty tasty, I thought it would be thick and heavy but it is more like a soup (I did drink a bit and it was delicious). Ingredients vice it is just what you eat at buffets that has hot pot or malatang section. I found the lamb to be a bit better quality than buffets, fried egg old and stale (the only disappointment), green veggies quite a surprising delight (I usually don't eat that). Pig intestines, beef tendon are well cooked and seasoned, which were also delightful.

Just stepping in lifts your spirit and creates joy. The thoughtful decor and beautiful design immediately stand out, creating a special atmosphere, even if you are simply meeting friends for lunch on a weekday. I never expected to find such a stunning restaurant tucked into a shopping strip in the heart of San Ramon. One Hour Bistro is truly a delightfull find. The same attention to detail reflected in the decor is also evident in the quality of the ingredients and the incredible flavors of each dish. Crystal glasses in a Thai restaurant? YES! They also offer mocktails which I wish I had time to try and savor. I ordered the Kao Soi Braised Short Ribs, and it was absolutely stunning; beautifully presented, generously portioned, and deeply comforting. The rich broth, tender bone-in ribs, and flavorful noodles made every bite memorable. I couldn't even finish the entire dish because I wanted to savore it slowly. The Pad See Ew was a silky, heavenly treat. The rice noodles were succulent, the vegetables were fresh, and everything was coated in a rich, flavorful sauce. If your driving through San Ramon, this is a MUST try. If you live in the area, lucky you!
