I arrived only about three minutes late, yet I ended up waiting nearly an hour before anyone started my service. Once I was finally attended to, I was immediately handed the color book and rushed to choose a color, making the entire experience feel stressful instead of relaxing. The service itself felt rushed from beginning to end, and unfortunately, the quality reflected that. I was charged $108, wasn't given a receipt, and left wondering what I had actually paid for. The final result did not meet my expectations. I understand that businesses get busy and that employees have schedules to keep. However, if there isn't enough time to provide proper service, it's better to be honest and say there is no availability rather than have a customer come in, wait for nearly an hour, and then feel pressured through the appointment. A trip to the nail salon should leave you feeling relaxed and happy. Instead, I left feeling stressed, rushed, and disappointed. Between the lack of communication, feeling pressured throughout the appointment, the poor-quality service, and the price, this was an experience I won't be repeating. Thank you anyway.

From the moment I sat down I was shown a book to pick out the color I want instead of having to choose one from the shelf of all the polishes. I only saw one sparkle color, so I asked if they had anymore glitters, and they did! I chose pink sparkle to match my purse and outfits I have been wearing lately. The whole process was so easy and quick, and the lady who did my nails was so nice. Towards the end of my appointment to my surprise, an employee from the coffee/ juice place next door came in and said they had extra drinks so I also got a free coffee! I paid first and tipped first before I got my nails done so that I didn't have to touch anything after and risk messing up the polish, but the gel dried so quickly I don't even think it was necessary to do that!

However, the lady who did my hands cut one of my fingers to the point of bleeding and left a shallow cut on another while filing my side walls. The other side walls are all quite sore as she filed them all pretty far. The hard gel on at least one of my nails did not go to the end of my nail bed and I pointed this out (it looked like the filing had actually grooved down past where the hard gel had been and into my natural nail on top). She kept saying "it's fine. I'll just add more of the other gel later." I asked if it would grow out wonky or lift and she said "no, it'll be fine." She ended up added builder gel to that specific nail and then gobbed on the color gel pretty thick at the base of that nail. From far away they look cute but if I look closely the quality just isn't great. When I paid, the lady charging me asked "you don't want to leave a tip for your techs?" So I explained again what had happened to her and said I'd happily leave one for the lady who did my pedicure but not for my nails and as I really was not happy with how they turned out. She gave me the Venmo of the pedicure lady and said she was sorry and would talk to the other girl. Over all I felt everyone was quite dismissive as I expressed to both the lady while she was doing my hands and the one ringing me up that I wasn't with them but no one interested in doing much to fix it.

At my first appointment, I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. The technician never asked me what shape or length I wanted, and I ended up with nails that were completely different from the reference photo. I brought up my concerns that same day, but I was told the manager wasn't there and that there was nothing the staff could do at the time. The next time I came in, I explained everything to the manager. She told me they would correct my nails and make sure I was happy, so I agreed to have them redone. Based on that conversation, I believed they were going to make the situation right. Had I been told beforehand that there would be no adjustment whatsoever for correcting the previous service, I would have simply gone somewhere else. After my nails were redone, no price adjustment was made. On top of that, I noticed I was being overcharged by an additional $10 based on the price of the services I received. When I tried to address everything with the manager, she told me I should have complained on the day of my original appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I explained that I did complain that day, but her employees told me the manager wasn't there. At that point, I stopped disputing the original service and tried to explain that I would pay what they were asking, but that the bill for this visit was still $10 higher than it should have been. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication disconnect, and I ultimately paid the amount they requested and left. What bothers me most isn't simply that I didn't like my original nails. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen. It's how the situation was handled afterward. I brought up the problem immediately, returned after being told they would correct it and make me happy, and then was later told I should have said something on the original day when I had already done exactly that. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning. If I had known that their idea of "fixing" the situation meant I would still be responsible for the full cost with no adjustment, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The additional $10 overcharge on the second visit only made an already frustrating experience worse.
