The spot to go to when Lake George is not in season and you want that fill you up breakfast for a great price. Couldn't have asked for better pancakes. Large in size, soaks up the syrup I dump on it, and easy to clean the plate. I at first didn't order eggs but happy I did, they came out HOT! Not that hot to warm you typically get because they sat on the plate for two minutes before being brought to your table. Sausage was cooked to perfection. Will be back when the town wide tag sale is in town.

Excellent breakfast...fast in and out. Love this place always! corn beef hash is homemade and excellent. Yeah it's a little pricey but who makes real hash that doesn't come out of a can in 2025? They do here!

Friendly service and good food. Glad we stopped by for breakfast. It was worth it. The corned beef hash was recommended by another customer and my husband said that it did not disappoint.

Pooh and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Lake George. This is a diner style set up. The people in this town are friendly and the staff here are too. Pooh ordered a Philly Cheese Steak and I ordered a Sirloin burger with fries. Pooh loved his Philly Steak. It was juicy and a perfect blend of steak and cheese My burger was juicy and the bun was fresh. The fries were super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside What I found interesting is that the "fixings" for the burger were all extra. Maybe that is a regional thing or even an American thing. I just found it interesting

Food The food is good. Everything came out hot. We liked that! The hot dog buns came out warm/hot, nice. I can skip the meat sauce. (Personal preference) The tater tots had a nice crunch to it. The chips appear to be made by the restaurant. I didn't ask, but it was good. The fish sandwich hits the spot. Service Efficient and friendly Ambiance Comfortable. Stop in to see for yourself.

This place rules. Everyone is so friendly and you feel right at home. Get. A. Hot Dog. Actually make sure you get more than one. We just got one to try it along with our breakfast and we regretted it and wish we had 4 each. The eggs here come out hot and fresh tasting. Even the water is good (some of you know what I mean). Sit at the counter and watch the magic happen, because everyone who works here is a pro.

We came during Americade week, people on top of people, full of traffic. We were looking for a restaurant off the beaten path and found one in Warrenburgh. The waitress served us quickly and our food came prepared fast. We enjoyed our meal in a nice friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back again!

When in Lake George we always have lunch here. The food is delicious and the service is great. We love sitting outside and looking at the mountains. Don't pass this place by.

a hot dog, onion rings, and burger

Sorry didn't love it. Had the hot dogs and onion rings - hot dogs were ok - didn't meet the hype at all. Yellow mustard was watery, no flavor and meat sauce so salty and more like a paste than meat sauce. But a deal for $2. Onion rings were crispy but too greasy. Friends burger was average - don't think it was fresh - likely frozen. Waited a long while for our food, then a while after we ate our meals for waitress again. She came ready with our check and didn't ask if we wanting anything else. We were going to try one of the many pies on the counter. We found our waitress to be a bit intense - almost intimidating - didn't get the welcome feeling shared in other reviews. We did like the atmosphere - cute, retro luncheonette type place.

You must have a taste for the special 100 year old Hot Dog recipe to really enjoy them. As a diner we enjoyed the food and service.

We were seated right away and our orders were promptly taken by our waitress. She was manning the people at the bar as well. The only issue I encountered involved the pricing on my bill. When I received the check, it seemed to be several dollars higher than what I remembered seeing on the menu. I politely mentioned it to our waitress, who appeared surprised and said she would double-check. She returned with the menu, placed it in front of us, pointed to the listed prices, and commented that she hadn't realized the discrepancy herself. The difference on our bill was only about $4 to $5, so it wasn't a major financial issue. However, my concern is that many customers may not carefully compare the menu prices to their final bill and may never notice if there is a pricing discrepancy. I'm sharing this review not to criticize, but in the hope that ownership or management will look into it and make sure the menu pricing and register pricing are consistent. I enjoyed the food and service and would return, but I believe this is something that should be addressed for the benefit of both the restaurant and its customers.

We had the "drunken lobster pasta" special and the Bali fried rice-I recommend going with the spicy version. We asked for it not too spicy but regretted it. For dessert we had the peach tart with fresh whipped cream...it was all so fresh and delicious. The service was incredible and the ambiance was nice. We sat in the dining room which was nice and quiet and that's what we needed. We will go back for the livelier bar side next time. It had plenty of tables both high top and regular seating. We decided to get out of Bolton Landing for dinner and we were very pleased we did!!

I was going to book the Log Jam but they only had a reservation at 7:45 and we would be in the area at 6:30. Luckily I found Lizzie Keays in nearby Warrensburg. I picked this place because the reviews looked promising, the website said there's live music and the menu looked good. When I walked in though, I panicked for a sec because the vibe isn't what my family is accustomed to. It's more of an old, small sleepy country town type of vibe. When our poutine appetizer arrived, my kids oooh'd and aaah'd and devoured it. Having had a ton of poutine in Canada, this one was completely different. It bad baby potatoes instead of fries and short ribs with a tasty sauce. The bread with seasoned butter was good too. So far, the food was surprisingly good. I started to relax a bit. Then our mains arrived. We each loved our food. I ordered the short ribs with pasta. The pasta had the perfect amount of roasted cherry tomato and cream, making the pasta really delicious. The short rib was tender and tasty but I do wish it had a bit of sauce. A couple of us ordered the pork ribeye and they both loved the dish. The pork was perfectly moist and tender. We also ordered the chicken parm with regular tomato sauce instead of the walnut sauce- it was also a hit. We also ordered the Black Forest chicken - it was delicious. For dessert, we ordered the hazelnut torte. It was moist and had the right amount of sweetness. Many of the dishes had walnuts in the sauce but I was happy they were able to make the chicken parm with a regular sauce instead of a walnut based sauce to accommodate severe allergies at our table. The entree prices were on the higher end but reasonable. The sides, dessert and drinks however, seemed a bit pricey. Overall, a good meal and it will be on our list of restaurants for the area. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be to change the vibe of the restaurant to match the food. The vibe is more of an old grandma-y type of place and while the music was good, it was very country. The food and its beautiful presentation, on the other hand, is slick and modern.
