One of the menu options is to pick a steak from next door and they'll prepare it for you, which is honestly a good deal. Their whole menu is a good deal, honestly, for the quality and quantity you get. The cheese curds satisfied my craving - okay, admittedly, many of them were monterey jack squares, but I didn't want to push them and ask for "all curds" - and they were willing to sub queso dip for the standard ranch. Very nice of them! After that, I was rather full but wanted some nutrition. They prepared a side salad, which isn't on the menu at all - your standard lettuce/tomato/cuke/etc. Again, generous portion at a good price, and very nice of them. Other perks: rotating root beer of the month if you don't want to drink, a ton of customizable burgers. Salty, well brined, flavorful. It even held up amazingly well cold out of the fridge the next day. Some of the best fried chicken I've had in years. The fries were insanely good as well. The greens (one of the side choices) were not my thing as they didn't have a lot of flavor. The only miss of the evening. My oldest enjoyed her burger, and my youngest thought the chicken was too spicy (read: peppery) but they've been uber picky lately so take that with a grain of salt (or pepper). Had a lovely cocktail here as well, called the Sunday Christian: Gin, Cocchi Americano, Bianco Vermouth, and orange bitters. I'm realizing I have failed you all but forgetting to mention the most glorious, buttery, flaky biscuit that comes with the fried chicken meal.
