    Slice of pizza
    Elisabeth M.

Fast, clean, tasty and welcoming! Need I say more? Ordered a slice of pizza with onions. The person replied with white or red? Wooaaaa that's a first. Thank you for giving me my choice of onions. It was good.

I wanted to love this place so badly but I just wasn't into it as much as I expected. I loved the soda options. Stubborn is one of my favorites. The meatball sub was just... meh. Meatballs needed to be seasoned better. It was so bland. The artichoke pizza was all artichoke and no seasoning which made it over sour. The staff was really nice and fast. Venue was clean and lots of parking.

I HIGHLY recommend this pizza and wings. The NY Slice is massive and delicious. The highlight, though, are those MILD BUFFALO WINGS. Truly, truly, truly, absolutely percent AMAZING!!!! They brought the wings to the table, and they were piping hot. That BUFFALO Sauce is the best ever!!! Let me tell you about the soda machine by Stubborn Soda. It's unlike anything I've ever seen. The sodas offered are great flavors. Thank you for great food and great drinks. I will be back!!!

Whenever I want their pizza, I deliberately drive to their Carrollton location even though there is one much closer. I enjoy sitting at the counter watching whatever game is playing while waiting. Most importantly, the slices served here are better quality. Unfortunately, the slices served were not their expected quality. I had a larger appetite, so I decided to order two. Of the two slices, one was not cooked as well as the other. Part of the crust and one edge was burnt. It must have been a fluke since the other slice came out much better.

Time for another Piezilla. The 24" pizza is just as delicious as the last time we ordered. The staff are very friendly and quick to take your order. I was even offered a complimentary drink while I waited. There is plenty of seating inside and out and pop music is playing in the background. Always a good choice.

New York Pizza & Pints is like no other pizzeria! It's a memory which will never disappear once you visit them. It's amazing the lasting effect a pizza can have on you! The pizza is so good from this specific location it gives you the ability to not only remember what year you visited but the exact day and month! Truly incredible. Must visit!

I've been here 3 times in the last 2 months and think this place has a really scratches an itch I didn't know I had. It straddles a weird intersection of neighborhood bar and casual, family friendly restaurant. I feel comfortable going to on my own but works just as well as place to take a friends and family to unwind after a hard day as well. While they offer smaller speciality pizzas, wings, salads, ginders, and more, I've been personally drawn to their pizza by the slice, the "slicezilla". This is a 12 inch slice of pizza that is 1/6 of their larger 24 inch pizza, the "piezilla". The pizza isn't going to blow your mind and could use some more seasoning from the kitchen for my tastes but it is serviceable overall. Instead the larger appeal is the aforementioned atmosphere and the value for money. For $5-7, I find a slice is enough for a satisfying meal while not breaking the budget. You can add a soda and still be under $10 or if you prefer a beer or glass of wine and be around $15 before tip. In this economy it's hard to even find lunch for under $15 at a sit down restaurant, much less with an alcoholic drink in the mix. Speaking of drinks, they offer 8 different kinds of wine for $7 a glass with a pretty heavy pour and around 12 beers on tap as well. The beer covers a mix of local classics and other craft choices and really is a surprisingly good selection for a pizza place. If you enjoy a good craft beer it's a nice bonus. There is something really special about this place to me that makes it better than the sum of its parts. It's a low frills, counter service pizza and beer place but for some reason I like it more than I feel like I should. It's surprisingly quiet even a low background soundtrack or "fail video compilation" playing on the TVs behind the bar. Even around peak hours seems to only have a handful of other people there at a time when I've been there so I wouldn't expect a high energy environment on the average night. I see it more of a relaxing place to enjoy a good deal on pizza and beer instead and would recommend it to fans of either.

    Bronx pizza

Having given up on our previous "go to" pizza joint, we decided to give NYP&P a try. We got the Bronx and brought it home. It wasn't the Bronx, it was The Bomb! Great pizza! At 14 inches in size, it easily feeds three. Also, the garlic knots are right on point too. We liked the pizza so much, my wife asked me three days later to order another one! She's not really a pizza girl, either. The 2nd time we got one with pepperoni, meatball and prosciutto. Even better! Next time we have the whole family over, we will get one of their monster 24 inch pies. This place is definitely a keeper.

I had no idea what to expect. 30 for a pepperoni pizza... okay. No. It was AMAZING. I was stuffed after one slice of pepperoni, and it was so good. The sauce - the pepperoni- the crust. Best pizza ever!!!! Staff was also amazing, curious and friendly. Highly recommend!

We went in on a Sunday afternoon so it was not too busy at the time. My girlfriend and I like to be seated at a "low top" because she has back issues with climbing up into higher seating. We don't mind waiting for that as inside "low tops" are limited. The hostess was very nice, as they always are. She took us to the middle of the venue to seat us and then walked away while we were waiting on our server. I stood up to walk around the table so that I could sit next to her instead of across from her. She stood up to move over and pulled out the chair next to her so she could sit back down. At that moment the new general manager walked up, and without offering any explaination, took the chair out of my girlfriend's hand and said, "We need this table for another party." He walked away and left us standing there without offering us another solution, and apology or calling the hostess over to seat us elsewhere. We were left standing there dumbfounded and looking around unsure of what to do. We started walking back toward the front of the venue as we spotted another open "low top" near there. At that same time the female hostess saw what had happened to us, and she started to walk toward us. Meanwhile, another male server - acting as host - seated some people at the new table we were about to get to with the hostess. We got mad and said, "it feels like someone is playing a game on us!" The hostess apologized as she could see we were aggitated. It was not her fault, and we do not blame her. We blame the rudeness of the general manager. We left to go eat somewhere else. This is not the first incident with this general manager, though. A few days prior, we were eating in there and had a good vantage point of one of the side kitchen entries off to the left of the bar toward the ffront half of the venue. A bus boy sloshed water all over the floor while moving wet dishes in a container back into the kitchen. He didn't have a chance to clean it up because he was buy walking back and forth doing other things. No big deal. The general manager walks up and proceeds to yell at another female server about the water who had absolutely nothing to do with the spill After she walks away, he did not take any real care to clean the spot up himself. He comes back after a minute to clean it up but not with a mop or anything. He takes two towels off the bar and mushes it around on the floor with his foot. He , then, proceeds to kick the wet towels under the bar before walking away. Talk about a safety and hygene issue. This kind of left a bad taste in our mouth. He does not treat his venue or his staff very nicely. We wantedd to get up and tell the other female server that we were sorry for her. This venue would be great if they would fire this rude and sloppy general manager. It's a shame because this used to be one of our favorite venues to go to all the time. The experience is starting to feel cheapened and sullied now.

Back then, everything was a la carte. I could order one or two slices and a drink. Now, they have a combo pricing: a slice, a salad, and a drink. The salad options are House or Caesar. I chose the Caesar salad. At first glance, it seemed like a decent portion. But when I looked closer, I realized it was just a single layer of lettuce. I found it easier to scoop the leaves with the fork tines than to spike it. I would have preferred saving a few dollars and skipping the salad altogether. On the positive side, the time I spent eating the salad would have been spent drinking the fountain soda. When the pepperoni slice arrived, a generous amount of my favorite Stubborn Agave Vanilla Cream Soda was still remaining in my cup. The pizza slice was just as big as before. Unlike typical New York-style pizza, the crust was brittle and cracked when I folded it. Also, the cooking process prevented grease from seeping onto the paper lining. As a result, the slice itself was a bit dry, which is not my preferred style.
