When I first drove past Brooklyn Pizza, I thought it was a rebirth of the pizza restaurant of the same name that was in Firewheel/Garland several years ago. This is not, it is a smaller restaurant that has sufficient seating but appears to me takeout oriented. Many pizza-by-the-slice options and a crust that comes somewhat close to the NYC experience with an overall very good product. Salads were good as well. A small place that does not try to be everything to everyone but succeeds in it's nitch. Recommended for a lunch special or takeout. read more

It truly is a five star pizza, the only reason I am giving you guys a four star is because three times I've ordered a $30 pizza with basil you guys have forgotten the basil every time. (If you don't have basil in the store that's fine just take it off your menu). Be vigilant on the smaller things. Im not going to stop ordering your pizza cause it's actually delicious just pay attention to the smaller stuff. Try this place for the pizza. The pepperoni sticks with their marinara are just ok. Marinara is average. And to much dough. Salads are super small and nothing crazy. But once again, the actual pizza which is what I am reviewing is pretty good. Thin, crispy, flavorful. I saw all the great reviews which is why I stopped by. There were no pepperoni pizzas in the display case, so they took a cheese pizza added some pepperoni on top of it, and then threw whatever substance that is on top of it, put it in the brick oven for like 2 seconds...and this is what I have. It honestly looks so gross, that I'm not going to eat it. I think it would make me sick if I did. Five dollars down the drain. read more

We ordered two pizza's delivered to our house and both were outstanding. One of the best pizza's in the Dallas area.

I went to check out this place because I looked up pizza places with great reviews and this one came up. I went in on a sunday evening and it was pretty dead. I asked for a supreme slice. What they did was they got a cheese slice that had been sitting there and proceeded to add the "supreme" toppings. This was the lazy way to make a supreme pizza and it made my slice not taste good. The pizza was not fresh underneath but had fresh rawish veggies on top. You can see from the photo! You can see staleish pizza and fresher sorta uncooked veggies on top. This created an unappealing taste. The atmosphere was fine. It was empty and tv's were not loud. The decor was nice. Would i go back? Definetly not. I would steer clear from any place that short cuts the way into making a great pizza. All the restaurants around yours have closed down! Yours maybe be next. You would assume that you would want to provive better food quality to retain or attract customer but with food quality short cuts like this your driving away new customers that will not return. read more

Pizza was fresh and amazing!!! We got the Verona and a garlic cheese pie which was the perfect amount for two people to take home some left overs. Probably the best crust I've ever had and I'm not exaggerating. The employees were so friendly and we were recommended this place from a friend and we can see why! In addition the ambience is great and it's a good little spot for a weekday dinner. We also saw postings for lunch day specials which seemed like a good deal. We will be back! read more

Pizza is amazing!! Spicy Honey wings are the bomb! I haven't tried the other flavors but this has that sweet and spiciness to it! The salad I was served did have too much ranch and tomatoes so that made it soggy but the rest of the food was great!! 8/10! The customer service was great outstanding and the Asian guy was very helpful! 10/10! The inside was clean and it had a nice atmosphere to it. 10/10! I can definitely see myself returning! read more

Moved to North Dallas from downtown so wanted to find a new spot. I usually order a large with the works, so I ordered what I thought would be a loaded pie, when I picked it up it was feather light. Usually 2 slices and I am full, but with this pizza, it was so light on the toppings we each ate half the pie. This was a $30 dollar pie. This thing was 2 centimeters thick and they call this the Godfather?! Fuhgetaboutit. I won't be back. read more

Lunch special, which includes a slice of pizza, salad and a premium soft drink, is a great value in these inflationary times. If you have a big appetite, add a second slice for a few bucks more. Slices are two-handers, finished in the oven just like in NYC. Toppings are fairly generous for the money. Crust is fairly straightforward, and not quite as chewy as some of the better slices in New York - but still very enjoyable. The pizza here is outstanding..... lived in New York a few years and the pizza there is delicious, and the pizza at Brooklyn's is so delicious it reminds me of New York pizza! Sometimes they have premade pizzas in the glass case, but if not, never fear wait 8 minutes and they'll have a pizza made for you, hot and delicious. My favorite is the Godfather with black olives!! I also love their Greek salad and the owner is a super nice guy. The ambience is OK, I will say often I'm one of only two people in the restaurant, but I also go at odd hours..... usually just after getting my nails and my lashes done next-door. I'm telling you don't miss out. This is a place that not many people know about but they have amazing pizza. read more

First Yelp review ever- Ambiance is good, but the 2 pepperoni slices had a burned, yet still raw, uncooked taste. Upon removing the toppings and cheese, it was raw. This is likely a result of using a dough that was not fresh, which resulted it the crust not baking and rising. The single, only worker present was at the cash register. Considering that I told him it was my first time here and the fact that there was only one other set of patrons present besides myself, it was disappointing. Ordered a cheese pizza and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad had chicken on it that was identical to the processed precooked fajita chicken you get at the grocery store near the bacon. Horrible!!!! I got extra cheese because I love cheese and it was everything I wanted it to be. I did sponge off a significant amount of grease, but that's to be expected with that much cheese. Yum! The pepperoni rolls were very good though there wasn't as much cheese and pepperoni inside as I had hoped. It was mostly the bread. Still, they were good and the marinara accompanying them is something I wish I had access to regularly!! I wish there had been an option to use a delivery app for ordering as I pay for one of those so as to not pay delivery fees, but this was something I would pay for again if I were in that area. We went to Angelo and Vito's for years and we're very disappointed when they closed. After they reopened as Brooklyn Pizzeria we decided to give them a try. They had refreshed the place, new benches, a little more light but basically the same except for a neon sign I didn't remember. It was 7:00pm on a Sunday, not exactly prime time, but it was pretty empty and the phone didn't ring even once. However, the pizza and the salad were both excellent (and they were reheated slices). Maybe even a little better than A&V. We'll definitely be back and will likely try delivery next time. Give these guys a try. I'm glad we took a chance. I got a large Godfather pizza to go. It was OK except for the fact that the crust was burned. I feel that the price is way too high for what I consider a ruined pizza. I feel that the person who baked it knew that the crust was burned. I tried to make it palatable by micro-waving a couple of slices. I could still taste the burned crust. Warming it up in the oven didn't help, either. I ordered a house salad. I should have saved my money and just bought an already prepared salad in a bag at the grocery store. Wow! Let me get the reviews rolling on this place! It's right around the corner from my house and my husband and I decided to stop in and see what it's about. This Greek salad is the BEST Greek salad hands down I've had from a pizza joint here in Dallas. It's super fresh and the feta is everything! Mushrooms tomatoes olives YUM! Comes with balsamic and it's perfect just that way. We got a large pineapple pepperoni and sausage pizza with extra cheese and it literally was so beyond incredible we are going back tomorrow. Mouth watering! Had to take a nap after and went to sleep dreaming about this pizza. Definitely will be our go-to pizza joint from here out. Also-bathrooms are very nice and very clean.
