But the first time we called for our windshield, we were told they only did repairs. It's a scam! I'm so very mad that they require you to purchase a protection plan that you can get the same stuff for 1qtr the price and it is better. Kim spoke in a friendly tone with an exceptionally bright smile that's usually reserved for Disneyland. I arrived at Navy Federal (West Covina) on Friday (around 4:50PM - Near Closing Time). It's located at the Eastland Center, so the lot is big. Parking is easy. As mentioned, I was helped by a wonderful staff member (identified as Kim). My Navy Federal Card had been tearing/ripping lately from constant use, so on a whim, I entered the business to ask about a card replacement. Kim fixed my problem within a three minutes or less. FAST!! Despite the soon-to-be arriving closing time, Kim offered to quickly tape up my Navy Federal card. Then, once that didn't work, Kim immediately checked my ID and handed me a brand new replacement with no charge. Throughout the entire process, Kim's demeanor felt welcoming, friendly, and exceptional. Regarding the location, Navy Federal (West Covina) felt very clean and very safe. There's plush seating. A month later after we wired the cash, he pressured us to sign a credit application, saying the car wouldn't be sent otherwise. After we left an honest review on Rednote app, Jerry retaliated by creating many fake accounts on social media to spread false claims, twist facts, and make personal attacks. My salesman Albert was friendly, professional, and never made me feel rushed. Once I returned, the finance department had everything ready, and the paperwork was completed efficiently. From the start of my appointment to driving off the lot was just under two hours, making the buying process much smoother than I expected. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the pricing structure. The advertised price was very competitive, but the vehicle also included a protection package that I was told was mandatory. But even with that package, the final price was still lower than comparable 2023 Konas I found through Carvana and Carfax with similar mileage/accessories (sunroof, upgraded display, etc.), so I do feel that I received a very fair deal. I simply would have appreciated greater transparency about the final price from the beginning. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and with the customer service I received from Albert and the finance team. If the pricing had been presented a little more transparently upfront, this would have easily been a five-star experience. If I'm ever again in the market for a used car, will definitely give them a shot in the future.
