Heel is a great lunch place! Terrific salads and sandwiches. The patio is nice on warm days and there is plenty of seating inside.

I tend to overlook this restaurant and I shouldn't- service is always impeccable and the food is great! Be sure to try the ahi chimichurri sandwich... bread is fab- and there's not TOO much of it! read more

Excellent customer service. Clean eating establishment. I like the set up inside. You can pick your condiments and they have to go containers out for your own use. We had appointments before and after lunch in Lone Tree, so went looking for food. We'd never heard of Newk's. but decided to try it. Were we ever glad we did! I had a "cup" of tomato basil soup and a half pimento cheese sandwich. (Being from the South, I love pimento cheese!) The "cup" was the size I would consider to be a regular bowl of soup. I saw others with a "bowl", and that was huge! The same seemed to be true of the salads. My husband had a sandwich with a side of pasta salad. Everything was delicious. The baguettes used for the sandwiches had been toasted, and was crispy without being tough - really great! The service was great, too, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We were told that there was a Newk's in Arvada, too, and that soon there would be more. Hooray! read more

We ate there on Sunday at 3:30 and were the only people in the restaurant. Most of the tables and booths were dirty with dishes, while the 3 employees sat at a table eating and talking on the phone. The tea was empty and when I asked if there was more, I was told to just tip it. The bathrooms were filthy! Obviously had not been attended to at all, disgusting! The food was okay, but by the look of the restaurant, I couldn't help but think of how clean the kitchen was. Will not return. There are too many other restaurants that take pride to waste your time and money on this. read more

I come here for pizza mostly. It's very good. I like that they have extras set out like garlic and pickles breadsticks etc. I've had a sandwich which was fairly small for the price but the soup was good. On most times, especially the weekend they have a spicy flavor soup which I wouldn't order. The tomato basil was good. read more

We generally like this place. Good food and pretty good service. However, I have never been served a room temperature bottle of white wine EVER at any restaurant, no matter how casual the place is. when I asked foe a cold bottle, they brought me a glass of ice and said this is the best they could do. if you can't serve wine properly, don't serve it at all. read more

It's really nice to be able to weird a really good review for a change. Newk's is a heart place to east. The atmosphere is great, the service is wonderful, and the prices won't have you brown bagging it for a week. I really like eating here. Ate there for the first time tonight. Nice new building with lots of staff helping out. We ordered sandwiches to go and they arrived quickly. The food was tasty but the portions were quite small. I ordered a pick-two combination of sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwich, while small, was excellent. The soup, lobster and crab bisque, was another story. It tasted good but was loaded with shrimp shells. Not a pleasant surprise. Not sure how shrimp shells got in there. Will probably give them another try. read more

Been there twice. Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice selection of sandwiches, salads. Wide choice of sides, not just potato chips. Everything I had tasted great. Good place for lunch, not my style for dinner but I think that the portions are large enough for dinner and plenty of choices for wide variety of taste. read more

I ordered a salad and a sandwich. The service was great, especially the front ordering staff. The chicken in the salad was fresh roasted and the dressing was good. What needs improvement is the lettuce and tomatoes. Only 1 out of 5 cherry tomatoes were edible and 1/4 of the romaine was brown. The sandwich was good. They were doing pre-opening train, so my understanding is the menu was limited and the food was FREE, so I don't have a full understanding yet. That's why I only gave 4 stars. Great new place to eat a quality meal at decent prices but quick and family friendly. Got 3 personal pizza and split a large salad and took food home. The sliced chicken on the pizza was bountiful and good, large shrimps on the salad, good thin crusts in the pizza. Lone Tree needed an eatery like Newks. read more

We ate lunch here as a family. The service was very good and each staff person we spoke to was very nice. Everything was immaculate. Our food came out quickly. I got what I thought was grilled cheese but it was so much better. A little pricey but a great spot. read more

I recently stopped by here for the second time. I loved the food and service the first time I came to newks, however I was sorely disappointed this time around. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich this time around, and because I am mildly allergic to sesame ( my mouth itches and throat swells slightly) I double check with the cashier to make sure the bread or sandwich didn't have any sesame in it. I said this to my cashier and she assured me it didn't. I got my sandwich and took two bites before I looked down and saw sesame seeds cooked into the bread. Immediately I had to take Benadryl and alerted another worker to what had happened. The other worker simply said sorry-not even a refund or a question of if I was okay. Please be more concerned and aware when a customer asks about an allergy. That is unacceptable. read more

This place is OK. The pizza is good but the portions are small! I have tried it twice and have left hungry both times. The one impressive thing is their cups. They are excellent and big. It is nice not to have to refill my cup every few minutes like at Mod pizza. If the portions were larger, this would be a 5 star. read more

Alot like Panera's. Although I liked the menu better at Newks. They move you through ordering really fast and food is delivered promptly. It's a large comfortable place with lots of seating, so never have to stare down a family that is almost finished to get a table. The only negative is that they ran a promotion where kids eat free on Saturdays. The last weekend they were running this promo the cashier told me that the computer was glitching and wasn't taking the promo code for kids eating free and they had to charge us for our 2 kids. I thought the excuse was really lame and probably more of managers decision to end the promo short to save money... This one thing kept me from giving Newks 5 stars... I had heard about NEWKS through my delivery job, and had been intrigued by the menu. After having to wait for extra time for the food, I was given several coupons, and I have to say they really did impress. The waitressing staff was super on top of it, and the atmosphere and setting was definitely excellent, and complimented the food quite well, although the food didn't need much of a compliment, it was truly excellent. Wonderful food and service!! I placed an order online for pick up ordwas missing an item they took great care with fixing it quickly. And it was worth the wait to have it corrected. The bread used for the sandwich's are delicious. You have to try the strawberry cake. Best I've had in a long time. We will be ordering again very soon! read more
