Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was 3 adults and one toddler. Waited for about 20 minutes for a table, though the restaurant seemed mostly empty. Fine, I'm sure they were maybe short staffed. We were seated and host said our waiter would be right with us. I kid you not, no one came over to us for 15-20 minutes. The employees kept looking at us so they knew we were sitting there. It was as if we were being discriminated for having a toddler. My guess is that no one wanted to deal with a table with a kid. Got to the point where the host had to apologize us for the delay and then saw him go to a server to I assume let him know about our table. However it was someone completely different than the three people my husband saw looking at us for 15-20 minutes so again, clearly they knew we were there and being talked about but yet not a single one came over to even offer us a cup of water. My assumption is the guy was at the end of his shift and didn't want to deal but still, good customer service would have him at least offer us water and Inform us his shift is over but someone new will come. This is why we felt we were being discriminated. Anyway, we finally got someone to our table and took our orders as we already knew what we want 15 minutes ahead of time. All I will say is that the beers are fantastic and the food was decent. My advice is that if you have a toddler, do not come because you will be discriminated by some of the staff members who do not want to cater families with kids. The service and food was amazing. We travel from CA to Nebraska twice a year and Park City is our midway stop. We've tried many places over the past 3 years and RR Brewery has been the best so far! We had a mix of pizzas, salads and chicken parm. Everything was amazing. It was my 19yr old's birthday, so we opted for the Apple Pecan Soufflé on the suggestion of our waitress. She certainly didn't steer us wrong and we left full and happy. We are looking forward to our trip back to Nebraska in August so we can stop in again! read more

Dropped by RRJ for a very late lunch (aka "linner") after spending the day on the mountain... RRJ was alright... Respectable beer, good service, and solid food. The only draw back (or more of an oddity) is we couldn't figure out the vibes... It was kind of like 1/4 mafia bar, 1/4 high rolling Vegas pub, 1/4 LA strip club (without the strippers), and 1/4 high-end gastro pub. Nevertheless, we had a good time and liked the joint. Visited this establishment yesterday as over the past 15 years have found it to be satisfactory. However, yesterday's visit was horrendous...the food was awful...lettuce, pear and tomatoes all old...pitafor sandwiches and burgers also hard as a rock...food was tasteless. Waiter never asked for drink orders or checked to see how the food was. I asked for manager who was sitting with her laptop on a bench. She never came over to apologize and took $18 off the final check. The owner should be made aware of this situation. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

This food was absolutely awful..... we didn't eat anything for the whole day and was expecting a nice lunch, we get there and we wait for over 45 minutes, and when they finally bring out the food we get steak that tasted like I was biting into rubber and the salad was just terrible. The only good food item was maybe the wings but the only good part about the wings was the sauce, the chicken was dry and had no seasoning. The chicken Parmesan was not any better, chicken was also dry and the skin was falling apart. And the pasta that came with it tasted like watered down Mac and cheese. Fun area with great food and beer. I was with a large party. For apps we tried the roasted cauliflower (a bit soggy but good flavor), blistered shishito peppers (delicious), bruschetta (to die for), and calamari (simple but delicious). I ordered the Hefeweizen and it was so cold and soooo good. I ordered the pizza of the day that had guyere and carmalized onions. It was really good. I tried the albacore tuna on pita and it was good but lacked any unique flavor. We had a dog with us and went to this restaurant specifically to eat on the covered patio but the staff wouldn't let us. Kind of a bummer. Every time I have eaten at red rock brewery I find the service is good. The alcohol is fairly priced and the food is very good. I had a turkey burger the other night. It was excellent. My daughter had the citrus salad with shrimp and she thought it was also done well. read more

Onion soup delicous flavor but had an entire roll submerged in soup with another slice bread with burnt edges and rubbery cheese on top . Had to send back twice so cheese was heated and golden as it should be. Had to ask for more broth as "roll" absorbed all the broth so nothing left for me! Then I ordered the chicken pot pie which was so big it was enough for two people ( but I took home half) We sat at the bar and our server David took care of everything. BRUNCH REVIEW: Service was decent but definitely underwhelmed by the brunch. Ironically, I always loved the brunch here. But now the menu is skimpier and the prices higher. Had the crunchy French toast and immediately regretted it. The edges were a little crunchy from the Corn Flakes but the middle was gooey and gross. At first, my boyfriend questioned whether he had eggs in his Eggs in Purgatory. It was mostly bread. A pretty nice place over all. Spacious with plenty of bar and table seating. I had the patty melt melt with mashed garlic potatoes. It was very good. The mashed potatoes were a tad dry and I'd recommend adding a little butter. ($15.00) The margarita pizza was very good. Firm, crispy crust and no skimping on the topping. We didn't finish it and it was excellent reheated. ($14.00) We sat at the bar and the bar tender was awesome. Constantly checking on us making sure everything was as expected. It's a brewery so your selection is dependent on that. The Anniversary Red is my favorite and a whopping 9.9 % abv. ($9.00) no full bar is the only drawback. Red Rock Brewery When we walked in around 12:30pm on a Tuesday and there were only a couple of patrons. Based on the prior reviews and overall 4.5 stars I wasn't sure what to expect. The host "Jack"was very pleasant and greeted us with a big smile on his face. Our waiter "Matt" was super polite and down to earth. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and offered wonderful suggestions. He was very attentive and fast. We started with the soup of the day Asian Sweet Pork. This should be a staple on their menu. It was delicious which says a lot from a self proclaimed soup snob. It had green and red peppers, onions, carrots, nice pork servings, chives, red pepper flakes in a brown broth. It had just enough of a kick to leave a slight tingle in your mouth which made it all the more tasty For the main course: I went with the Shrimp Cavatappi it was made in a nice lemon pesto cream. I'm not a big pesto fan so I was concerned I was not going to be happy but was pleasantly surprised that it did not have an overpowering pesto flavor. It had just enough pine nuts and parmesan to give it a yummy flavor. My husband had a 1/2 rack of Chipotle BBQ Baby Back Ribs. They were slow roasted in their sweet and tangy chipotle barbecue sauce. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly easily falling off the bone. He had a side of mashed potatoes that were not lumpy nor super smooth, per my husband they were perfect and he wished he had more. He also had a side of seasonal vegetables which consisted of zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, red onions and red peppers. All of the veggies were fresh and made just right (not soggy or under cooked). Prices were just right for the portions and quality of the meals. Great Place to swing in when you finish with Utah Olympic Park. Stopped in for a beer and some appetizers and it was spot on. Didn't like the Elephino as it's not my style but the Zomby Wolf was perfect. Went well with the Cajun Fried Shrimp and Toasted cauliflower. Wife telephoned Red Rock Junction in advance to find out if they allow dogs on their patio, which they did. Sean, who answered the phone, was pleasant and helpful. Turns out he waited on us upon our arrival; for lunch. Sean made very good craft ale recommendations. Wife and I ordered their hamburger which came in a pita pocket (buns are an option). We split a salad with their 'house dressing' and split an order of fries (like I have never had before but delicious). And an order of beer battered pickles. I apologize in advance for not so good pics, but hope depicts the order. I also understand that not everyone has a 'good day', but I was tempted to just leave when I was greeted with a morose attitude. This place was a miss for me, but could be because I frequent a l o t of breweries / brewpubs... we tried a red rock beer at a resto on Main so wanted to come check out their selection. Within the restaurant, there's no beer menu and the labels on the walls are only the names and don't tell you anything about the beer, which I found so bizarre. The food itself was eh. French onion soup had a lot of bay leaves (like 5+ within my bowl..). I'd give 2.5 with a round up to 3 because the space is nice and they have sick merch. read more

We love Red Rock. We have been coming here since it opened years ago. Everything I have tried is good. The French onion steak sandwich is super good but it's gotten too expensive over the years. My favorite is the pepperoni pizza. The mozzarella sticks are the best I've ever had. Their salad with ranch is also a favorite. When it's busy it can get pretty loud, but never too awful. It's really the best in winter, sit inside enjoying a warm meal with family watching the snow fall outside through the huge windows. read more

Red rock is one of the few chain restaurants my husband and I enjoy. We love their sweet potato fries, French onion steak sandwich, chicken schnitzel and all of their pizzas. I tried the arugula and prosciutto pizza for the first time and I loved it! This is a brewery but we only come for the food. It's a bar-like atmosphere and has helpful waiters who and super nice and helpful. We like this location in Park City especially when we want to enjoy cooler weather in the mountains. read more

We haven't eaten here in awhile so we joined friends for lunch/brunch on Sunday. It's elevated bar service with good service. The Cuban sandwich is pitiful. It's kind of a fake BBQ that's supposed to be pressed but isn't. The good news: friends enjoyed hoeuvres rancheros, the burger in a pita with fabulous fries, cobb salad, and I enjoyed a half Superfood salad and French onion soup. All were delicious. For the French onion soup, ask for a small plate, lift your cheese and crust to the plate, and then dip pieces of the cheese crust into your soup. It's a much easier way to enjoy the soup. read more

Don't bother. After a morning of skiing, we were starving and thought we'd grab lunch before heading down to the valley. I've been to the Sandy Red Rock location, which is ok, so I thought the Park City version would be sufficient. At 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon, this place was a little less than half full, which should have been our first indication things wouldn't go well. Our server was so friendly, but slow and overwhelmed. I ordered an Irish coffe, it was awful. The coffee in it was bitter and either old or burnt, there was no sweetness to the drink at all. It was $8 and I couldn't even finish it. Our food came out after a while and it was clear it had been sitting in the window a long time, everything was just warm, and not-so-crisp anymore. The soup of the day was a "white chicken chili" which came out looking more like a soup, and had soggy pieces of tortilla strips in it. It was some sort of warm cross between tortilla soup and a runny chili. Not good. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, which came with a side of zucchini, peppers, and fries. Room temperature fries and floppy zucchini aren't too appetizing, I sampled them but they weren't good enough to eat. Now my understanding of schnitzel is meat pounded thin, breaded, and lightly fried until crispy and golden brown, usually served with some fresh herbs on top or a lemon wedge. This "schnitzel" was basically a thick chicken breast with soggy, oily breading adulterated with a dark brown gravy and melted cheese. Like a cross between a Salisbury steak and a Philly cheesesteak. Not good. And definitely not schnitzel. There are so many fantastic dining options in Park City, and nearby in Salt Lake if that's feasible - there's no reason to eat here. read more
