I get my brows and upper lip threaded here every month because this place is inexpensive and efficient. The wait is never too long, if any, and the staff is really friendly. The process is easy and the price is good. They always do an excellent job. I've had a few girls that hurt more than others, but I'm pretty sure that will happen at any place. They have a reward system so that every seventh threading is free. I believe it's only seven dollars for a threading here. Make sure you get the aloe vera gel when you're done. It helps with the redness and the burning. This is probably the only place I will ever go to get threaded. read more

Very unhappy with this place & will definitely let everyone I know to never come to this place. Everyone be warned! The lady who helped me (SARA) was very rough & rude. She kept picking at an ingrow she claimed I had even after I told her it was hurting. My eyelid was bleeding when I left. The owner asked if my eyebrows were okay when I was leaving & I was so pissed I didn't want to cuss anyone out I just walked out. So apparently they are used to people making a damn scene because they claimed I was happy with my service since I didn't make a scene. The owner has witness one of her workers mess my eyebrows up, she even had to take pictures & send it to them so she could "make sure it didn't happen again" Oh & they will claim they will "fix what is broken" but how do you fix your eyebrows being way too thin? Or your skin being cut? This place is a damn joke. If I would have at the very least received an apology this would be a completely different story but instead they want to argue that they have "12 technicians" & "could have waited on someone else". Well my bad I wanted to give the lady who messed up my eyebrows the first time a second chance & my bad I wasn't trying to spend an hour on your shop cause I have things to do! Cute, small salon. Came for eyebrow threading and they did exactly as I asked and exceeded my expectations. They offer additional services that I may never use such as waxing and henna, but with how clean and organized the salon was and how well my threading went, I imagine their other services are just as exceptional. When you walk in, to your left is a computer where you sign in. They try to keep track of who their clients are and I appreciate that especially if I continue to use their services. At 4 o'clock on a Monday the salon was empty so I was serviced immediately. About 5 minutes later I walked out with the most perfect eyebrows I've ever had. They even offer a $5 deal if you check in through Yelp but I would not have minded paying the full $7 - which is still really inexpensive. I do think I will return to this salon in the future as I think they did the job well. read more

The first girl did a wonderful job following my direction on what I wanted. When I got in the car I realized I wanted just a bit more shape so I went back in and the girl was busy. I would have waited for her but she sent me to this other girl who completely botched my eyebrows. Literally completely ruined them. *update* I did cry but after using my new eyebrow gel the shape was immaculate and I was very pleased. I usually don't do reviews but this place was amazing. I got a facial here and my skin feels soooo soft. I found them through yelp after reading a few good reviews and I called and told them I'd be coming in. I went on a Monday around 3pm and it wasn't busy. The owner knew what my skin type was without me telling her and she recommended what facial would be best for me which showed me that she knew what she was doing. She removed so many blackheads from my face and I honestly feel like a new man right now. Believe me, I've gone to Glam India, Styles of India, and European Wax Center, and I can honestly say Newrain is just the absolute best on eyebrow threading. I can't say enough good things about her skill! She's super busy with the amount of appointments she has in a day, but you'll never feel rushed. Found this place as I was looking for eyebrow threading with really good reviews. I had been to other places in Irving, but have not been too happy with those places. I decided to try this place and let me just say, this is my new go to place for my eyebrow threading. Took my 2 daughters and we were all pleased with our results. I don't know the name of our lady, but she was great and did awesome work!! This place is painted purple inside, my favorite color, so that makes it even better!
