Now, our insurance company had hired a company to repair our hardwood kitchen floors, but after ripping the floor apart, and having us wait for weeks without any progress being made in repairing the floor and other repairs that were needed to be made as a result of the water damage, we contacted our insurance company, and asked if we could get our own contractors. After getting their approval, we contacted Marco of BR Flooring, and the rest is history! Our hardwood floors look superb! The contractors the insurance company had hired had made a true mess in our kitchen, and said they wanted to replace the entire hardwood floor throughout our first level; however, Marco and his team repaired the damaged area, sanded the floors, stained the floors, applied three coats of polyurethane, and finished the floor with a sealant! The floor looks better than it has ever looked before! We can't give Marco and his team enough credit for the superb job they did! We highly recommend BR Flooring--they are GREAT! Another thing, we had searched and searched for an individual/a company to replace our kitchen cabinet that was damaged as a result of the water damage, but we kept running into a brick wall. We spoke with at least five to six people who we thought could help, but time after time we ended up in the same situation. We only needed one cabinet, but individuals wanted to replace all of our kitchen cabinets. One company even suggested that we remodel the entire kitchen, even though the entire kitchen didn't need remodeling. Again, Marco and his team helped us! Just Floors moved our stove and refrigerator, then removed the floating floor and a layer of tile. They workers were very courteous. Theyleft extra tiles and glue in case we ever needed to replace one. The hardwood flooring was a spur-of-the-moment decision when trying to decide on where to transition the open kitchen itno the dining room. The previous owners had carpeted over the hardwood floor, and we had been considering lifting the whole carpet and going back to floor -- but had no idea what shape it was in. The salesman shot us a price on removing the area of carpet and sanding the floor, then leaving a "natural" finish. The price was right, so we agreed. As one can imagine, doing this without actulaly knowing what was under the carpet is ill-advised. I lifted the carpet that night to see what was under it, and found hundreds of carpet staples, both dark and light very worn patches of wood, gaps where the wood had shrunken. A quick call to Just-Floors had me talking wth the owner and his assuring me they would handle the staples and shoot me a price on anything that might need repair. The area near the patio doors really concerned me, and words like "money pit" came to my mind. These workers too were curteous. They removed staples in no time and had plastic up between the kitchen and the living room, effectively keeping the majority of dust contained. They pried boards together, when possible, and put down a liquid fast-drying wood filler for the rest. The varnish (?) was colored "natural" and helped lighten the dark spots. An extra nice touch was that they brought an extra piece of wood transition and laid it in front of the patio door. The finished product was simply amazing -- and didn't cost me a penny extra.

While I wasn't home for the repairs maintenance allowed the crew to enter my apartment. When I returned home I discovered my Michele black deco diamond watch that retails at about 2k was missing. I went to the leasing office to report it but management wasn't available. I contacted the police and filed a police report. I also contacted my insurance company. During this period the office has refused to assist in replacing the watch which I have pictures and the receipt to the watch. I asked to speak to someone named Scott be the office states they only make contact with the Property Management office.
