Next View moved me on Saturday. They said they'd be arriving between 10 - 12. At 9:40 they called and said they were on the way. They were great! Fast. Professional. Have all the dollies and blankets needed plus power tools to take apart and put back together large furniture that won't make it out of the house easily. It was the smoothest move I've ever made. And nothing broke or got dinged. They were also MUCH less expensive than two other quotes I got. Five stars for sure. read more

These guys were great!! I was moving from a 3rd floor one bedroom apartment to another 3rd floor one bedroom, and they had all of my stuff out in less than 45 minutes. I also ended up selling my couch before my move date, and they took the cost of the couch off of the original estimate with no fuss at all. Very quick and efficient, and very polite. Tim and the NextView Moving team are awesome, and I would use again/highly recommend. My roommate and I were planning our move for the second week of August (popular time) and we were looking for a reasonable quote for just a few pieces of furniture (the rest was going to Goodwill). I contacted NextView moving based off their great Yelp reviews, and I'm pleased I did. I sent an email request for a quote, and received a response within 4 hours (at 8pm - I was so amazed they responded so quickly). The quote was VERY reasonable and exactly what we were looking for. Shortly later I confirmed the date and time, and we were booked - total process from quotes submission to confirmed move was 24 hours. On the day of the move, they gave us a window of 10-12am, and showed up right at 10am. They called in advance to confirm they were coming and showed up right on time. They are clearly experienced as we didn't get one scratch or ding on our furniture, and they were able to move very heavy items with ease. They even disassembled and reassembled my bed frame for me! After they got everything moved to the new place, they stayed true to their quote as we hadn't added or removed any furniture items from the original quote. I really appreciated that. I met Tim when I partially moved into my new home in Austin and needed help getting a piece of furniture I'd purchased at a local antique store into the house. I didn't know anyone in the neighborhood, so had joined Nextdoor.com. Tim volunteered to help me. He showed up with equipment to get it up the stairs, into the house, and set up. I didnt have to worry about damage to the new flooring. He wouldn't let me pay him, and never mentioned he worked for a moving company. But when I talked to him, I discovered Next View and got excited, because I had a full load in storage out of state to move to Austin. Next View's rate was cheaper than anyone else I called, so I hired them. They showed up on time, and worked quickly but carefully to load it all. They unloaded carefully and put everything where I asked. No damage and I dealt with professional, polite, careful men throughout. I will be hiring them for my next move. read more

Stephen and George were our lead movers and they were very efficient and careful to not ding up walls and such as they were carrying things out to the truck. Used these guys for my two moves within the past year and wow, they are amazing! The quality and price of their service is unbeatable. I've had absolutely no damage and they use great care when transporting furniture and boxes. They also call and let you know what time they will arrive, despite scheduling arrival time in a 2 hr. window, which I thought was very considerate. Not only that, but they've moved me in less than 2 hrs. in the Texas heat and only charge you a flat rate. Damaged a computer screen on a move and when confronted with the damage they said "the law only requires us to reimburse .60 cents per pound" on damaged items during moves. So my $200 monitor that was damaged feteched only $10 bucks! Also they don't protect your mattress when moving them so excpect dirty hand prints all over them. Highly recommend going with more professional and responsible movers. read more

Tim and Stephen are awesome! They moved my one-bedroom apartment from 78741 to 78758 with 3 guys in just under two hours. I used their online quote tool where you provide an itemized list of things that need to be moved. This list changed slightly when I was actually moving and Stephen reduced the cost appropriately. I really like that their move was a flat rate versus a variable hourly fee with a minimum number of hours like their competitors. These guys are hands down the best! My day started out terrible, but it had nothing to do with NextView Moving. I was moving from Houston to Austin and my movers canceled on me the morning of the move. After calling around to a bunch of companies in Houston it became very clear to me that everyone would be booked up on a Friday morning. I called my new employer in Austin to tell them the news and that I may not be moved in by Monday, but he said he knew of a new company in Austin that may be able to do it. He gave me the number to NextView and calling them was a great idea. The guy in the office was very professional. He didn't laugh at my situation, but was instead very helpful. He said he would send a crew over right away. About 3 hours later Stephen and Tim arrive. I was very impressed from the moment I saw them pull up. They had a nice truck and trailer and they were both matching in uniform from head to toe. Just seeing the professionalism eased my mind a little bit. Both of the guys were extremely nice and funny. They worked hard and fast and had all of my things loaded in just 1.5 hours. They followed me to Austin and I think they had everything unloaded faster than they loaded! These guys were truly the best. They were professional, fast, funny, and the price was better than the original quote I got in Houston. I highly recommend NextView Moving to anyone that is moving. Absolutely the worst moving company on the market. They were recommended to me and when discussing the items I needed moved, they were professional, kind, and affordable. I inquired about insurance/additional coverage for damaged or lost items, they stated it wasn't offered and they covered with what they were required by law, but I quote "we will make it right" if something happens was what was told to me. So after the move, I found some items damaged beyond repair from negligent moving on their part and they want to settle for less than a tenth of what it's all worth. Not to mention Stephen, the owner, being quite disrespectful in staying my items were garbage quality, lied about the condition of my own items at moving time, and it was my fault that my items were damaged by them. In addition, it's taking over a month to actually get communication, only email as they don't return calls now, to even get a settlement started. It's brought up that I signed the paper stating the coverage option, however, Tim staying before I signed that they would take care of the claim and make it right; guess I would have been smarter in that regard despite him emailing and verbally stating this. I'm all for supporting small businesses but in this case I regret my decision. read more

Amazing! I have utilized Next View Moving once before, so it was a no-brainer to request their services again! They were on time and began working right away. They are very quick and work hard to protect your belongings (I think it is important to note that when moving there is always the potential for things to break, be scratched, or dinged - regardless of how careful someone may be. The posts discussing broken items such as computer screens - you should probably have dealt with that yourself.. I moved my own pictures, monitors, and TVs - wrap them up yourself and handle them yourself). The first time I used their services they moved me out of a third-floor apartment to a ground floor unit. There were three people moving my things and it took about an hour to load the truck and then 45 minutes unload and they put together my bed for me! My second move, I had them load my rental truck. I had more furniture this time, but they still only took about an hour and twenty minutes. All of my stuff is in great condition. They took time to cover my items with blankets I provided. I am very happy with the service they provided! To boot, they have wonderful customer service. Any time I have called them, they answer! They are friendly and patient! Tim and his crew were highly recommended. They very nice and hard working. Unfortunately when we opened the truck, we were amazed by the amount of damage. Several pieces of furniture were scratched. Our piano had a corner crushed. Some utility shelving was destroyed and a family heirloom clock was damaged. I provided pictures but all they could say was, "not our fault". So disappointing. Reasons why I loved them 1) they were on time or even a bit early! 2) they were fast, professional, careful, thorough, flexible and NICE 3) they went above and beyond - they helped me move other things around to make room and take some things out of the house for me that I could not carry 4) they were true to their quote. I am quite sure they did not expect it to be as much work as it was and they still adhered to the initial quote they gave me. Of course. there were things I had forgotten that they didn't actually charge me for. I would use them again in a heartbeat. I can't tell you how much easier it was with Next View! I had used Army Ant before (had two moves relatively close together, ugh) and Army Ant charged by the hour and I caught their guys just hanging out in the back of the van. Not Next View - they were actually RUNNING up and down the ramp- they were joking with each other and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. NextView was recommended to me by my real estate agent - and from beginning to end, it was carried out very quickly, precisely and professionally . . . and most importantly, very pleasantly. I had originally thought that I would be able to get rid of a lot of things prior to my move, but that didn't go as planned. When Tim and Stephen showed up to pack, it was obvious that they were going to need help. Before I knew it, Rene and Ronnie arrived in San Antonio to help pack. All done in one day. I just love Steve and Tim with NextView Moving. After living in my home for the last 36 years, the move was starting to be very overwhelming for me and my husband, who has cancer. I called a place in Del Rio, where I am moving from and the lady I talked to acted like they didn't care if I moved or not since they owned the only moving companies here. I happened upon NextView Moving on the internet and I know God had to nudge me in their direction because they were definately the answer to my prayers. In the next three weeks after I called and before the scheduled move, I called them numerous times, adding items on. They were always professional about it and kept me assured that they would be able to handle it. They said they would be here at 8am on the scheduled date and they were here exactly at that time. There is a 4 hour drive and they had left that morning to get here and on time. I started out impressed but then they set to work and blew me over. They looked at all to be moved and didn't even think I was crazy for moving some of the things that I wanted to take with me. After living in a home for that long, there are some things you just can't leave. They were so polite and carried on an interrestig conversation while moving so much stuff. Did I mention we live in the country, so there was no concrete to roll the dollies on either. We left about 30 minutes after them and by the time we made it to Kyle they had almost finished unloading. They even moved a few items around for us which they certainly did not have to do. They were so polite, fast working and very personable. If you are moving, you certainly want to call NextView Moving for the easiest move you will ever have. read more
