I loved this place! I'm visiting from San Francisco with my family and decided to go here since it had good reviews. We did not regret it at all. We ate some seafood pho, pork sandwhiches and spring rolls and everything was delicious! The server was really nice and kind. Best Vietnamese food in town. They have a variety of authentic dishes that cannot find anywhere in Fresno. I have tried more than 7 different dishes so far, and they are all good. One of the best pho broth I've ever have, even compared to Rosemead, LA. Service has always been so friendly and tentative. I have always had pho places around that area but I have never been here. I found this place when I was yelping for new places around town and Bambu showed up! I was soo very excited because we don't have a Bambu here. So while I dropped in to get a drink I decided to try out their food. I want to say this place have a big variety of Vietnamese dishes. I tried one of the dried egg noodle dish and it was delicious. I went back today and try bon rieu and bon bu hue and they're both tasty. It seem like they just reopen from remodeling, it's a nice place indoor. I'd definitely go back and try other things on the menu. read more

Food is okay. The broth is never consistent. But my complaint is the slow ass service. Waited 31 minutes for 2 pho. Really?! Especially with Covid and no one is allowed to eat in the restaurant, you'd think service would be A LOT faster. So irritating. My advice is to call ahead of time and have them get it ready. After hearing so many people talking about this place I decided to come try it myself. What I noticed when I stepped in was the restaurant was big and they had Bambuu inside of the restaurant as well. When i came they weren't as busy, so we got to be seated right away. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and in my opinion it was much better than all the other pho places located in the same plaza. The pho bowl was very big for a small and the meat portion was a lot too. The broth was just right and to my liking. My mom got the spring rolls and she said it was okay but they didn't give her enough of the sauce. My mom also got the Bun rieu and it was okay. There was added Mam (fermented fish) which my mom didn't like. I'd suggest the employees ask the customers if they want Mam in their Bun rieu before serving it. My brother enjoyed his meal (pictured above) but I forgot what it was called. The waiter was attentive and came to check on us for our refills as well. Another thing I was concerned about was that they didn't have their AC on. Especially in the Fresno heat, AC should always be on in a restaurant. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd come back to try other meals that they have to offer. read more

Terrible experience. Family that's local to the area recommended this place based on past experience. They too agreed that this could not be the same placed based on the experience we had today. Sadly it was. Service sucked (saw the staff yelling at each other because they were so sideways), food took 30 mins (and they forgot 3 items, which took another 30 mins to get) the udon noodle with crab and shrimp had absolutely NO shrimp and very little crab. Didn't send it back for fear that it would take another 30 mins. To top it all off the food was bland. I've had far better noodles and Vietnamese sandwiches else where. I had been here last year for pho before they remodeled, and it was a nice little place. Small, but good food and service. Today I went back for lunch with a coworker and WOW. They have really transformed this restaurant. An extensive Boba/iced coffee/smoothie bar as you walk in, and nice seating if you're staying to eat. And this place isn't just pho, it's a full Vietnamese menu. We came at noon and the place was hopping, but they sat us right away, and the service was top notch. The owner even came to over to chat for a few minutes. I had the combination fried rice and my friend had a wonton noodle bowl with broth on the side. Everything was delicious, we even swapped plates at the end and finished each other's dishes!! Looks like they offer karaoke too. This is a great hidden gem in Fresno right off the 41, and I am anxious to go back! read more

I was quite excited to try this place out again. The first time I came it was before their expansion. I am also originally from Sacramento/Elk Grove & this is the only place I could find Bun Bo Hue. I came here excited to try Authentic Vietnamese food. My first experience a few months back was good. Customer Service was okay & it wasn't as busy. Came today w/ 4 other guests. Our orders were taken & atleast 3 other people kept coming to our table to see if our order was taken. We got our waters & drinks taken after we ordered 4 pho's & one Bun Bo Hue. I also ordered a Nem Nuong that should've came out before the soups. The pho soups were cold & didn't cook the meat at all. My Nem Nuong came about 45 mins in to being here & before that I had to ask 3 times for it. The servers were giving orders to the wrong table and also picking up ingredients & utensils off of tables where guests were eating. At one point a server came to our table and reached over while we were eating to grab chilli oil. I won't be coming back here for awhile. Sad to say I'm a bit disappointed in the service and the food. I am giving it two stars today only bc I only enjoyed the bun bo hue. My guests that came along w/ me were disappointed. read more

Since my last review on this place, they have since updated the building and added a Bambu. The food is still amazing and as authentic as it could get. The Che (dessert) is always so refreshing. Perfect after a hot bowl of pho. Their broth is flavorful and aromatic as pho should be. The last time I came here, I had banh canh with crab and shrimp and remember that it had fresh crab meat. Unfortunately, this time around it did not and had imitation crab instead. I raved to my sister how it has fresh crab, and to my disappointment.. it wasn't in the dish. It's almost as if the bigger the restaurant the less detail goes into the food?? Maybe cause of cost.. who knows. Needless to say, it was still delicious. read more

Only had pho, it's decent, some of the meat used in the pho could use some more time, comes out too tough. The floors need a deep cleaning though, it is way too slippery. It becomes a safety issue when you have people on tables with hot broths and the floors are as slippery as it is.
