Worst Bar in Concord Area... they advertise fake giveaways on Instagram and make you feel like your stupid and don't know anything about how winning a contest should be! Including the owner, all of them suck and don't have any type of communication skills. My birthday week and still no type of love. For winning a champagne giveaway, the message was not specific about the bottle of champagne that was won, they gave me in house champagne which was Sparkling wine like who does that. I am only giving 2 stars because of the two bottle service girls Alisha & Kianna they were so sweet last Friday with helping my table out. The other two girls didn't kno what the hell they were doing and one of them actually snatched the bottle from Alisha's hand !!! I just thought that was so unprofessional + the manager was watching the whole thing and didn't say a word. You would think that they would want their club to look a bit more classy than that!!! For that reason I will not come back and I highly recommend that you do not go to this club either! it's not worth it!! Don't waste you money here! This would have been five star if the bar tender had been honest. The bartender would take my unfinished drink while I watched the entertainment. I called her on it. She got me another drink which I was charged and before it was finished did it again. This was very short sighted on her part. The bar lost future revenue. On the up side. The band was amazing! I'm updating my review based on my visit last night. When the Nica lounge first opened it seemed like more of an upscale lil bar where you can enjoy a drink and still have convo with your friends while listening to music. The crowd was also an older crowd, so it didn't feel like a club, but more like a lounge! Last night I was like wtf did I pay $10 for, it took us 15-20 mins to get a drink which really made me not want to stay there. I basically paid $20 for a drink because after I finished my drink, that I chugged my friend and I left. This place definitely turned into an 18 and over type of CLUB. It's full of youngsters, super loud music where you can't even have a convo, slow bartending svc because they are short staffed behind the bar and all you can smell is dank throughout the place. If I could describe this place in one sentence it would be, monument meets W. 10th St.! Back to traveling to Albany, Sac and Walnut Creek. BTW Patricia wasn't there but I still give her 5 stars because she's an awesome attentive bar tender and knows how to have convo while doing her job! 1st review*** Patricia was the best bar tender ever!!! Nica!!!!! Oh how I love you. I have a great time every time I come here. We usually come here Friday or Saturday night. Music is great, people are great, and the overall vibe is great. It's a small "lounge" but it's more like a small club. I say this because everyone is usually on the dancefloor or socializing. There isn't really a VIP area but there are a few spots to sit and chill around the room. Recently, my boyfriend "lost" his wallet here and Nica was nice enough to send it to him in the mail and it arrived a few weeks after. I like this spot because it's pretty lowkey but fun enough where you get a club experience without having to go to the actual club (get super dressed up) or all the way out to the city (pay for an expensive Uber or hotel). 10/10 would recommend :) read more

I love the Nica lounge. I'm nicaraguan so I was very happy to hear that the owner is Nicaraguan. They carry the Nicaraguan rum and beer which just takes me back home. They also do nicaraguan food in the afternoon which I love. The staff has always been very friendly with me and friends. The music is great, they got different events for almost everyday of the week, so they cather to all kinds of music taste. If you like salsa, bachata etc, they play it on Tuesdays and sundays, if you like reggae, they got it on Thursdays and if you like top 40 they got Fridays and Saturdays! read more

Small spot but they play decent music, which I'm assuming depends on the Dj. I've gone on a Saturday on two different occasions. The crowd is definitely young, like mid 20s. Drinks are decent. It's one of those places you go when you want to go out but don't want to travel far. They seem pretty lenient on dress codes. I saw many guys in Jordan's. Cover was 10 bucks. Dont come here for food I waited for 1 hours and my food had not arrived. Server was bad. I were seating for 15 and no one come greet us. 2stars. Although I would like to give a 5 star rating because i like this place. I rarely go to this place but since I was invited by the promoter I showed up for about 30min. I had 2 drinks they were Coronas. The bartender last night was great and attended to everyone faster than I've seen at any bar. I may have left about 45 min before the club closed before a security guard pushes my from the back all the way out the club. I was so confused about why that was happening so I spoke with the front security guard that was in the front of the nica lounge checking ids and he was super chill he went to ask the other security why he did that and when the guard came back he said that I slap him with my phone. If he got slap by a phone it was definitely not me. I highly encourage replaying those cameras back. That white security guard from the inside was the most disrespectful person I've every encountered. Sure if someone got slap in the face with a phone they would be a lot more mad. But it's nice to see how he tried to justify his actions by making up a lie. The way he conducted himself was not cool. I highly encourage to view those cameras. Bar tenders were all nice, attentive and hot. Visited on a Latin night Saturday 2/4, had a blast. Everyone was dancing and it was definitely packed, has a city club feel, great vibes and a nicely mixed crowd. Don't come here. Drinks were very weak and the bathroom situation was a joke. There's literally a bouncer just for the bathroom! Like seriously? The line for the women's restroom was SUPER long and the men's restroom had no wait. Two women can go into the same one-stall "women's" restroom according to the bouncer but heaven forbid I go into the "men's" restroom with my boyfriend to use the toilet. The "mens'" restroom had a urinal AND a toilet. We were able to do our business at the same time and then get back to dancing but the bathroom bouncer was having a big fat cow about it. Just because I was dressed as a woman and my voice is high pitched doesn't mean he has any business to assume what I have between my legs. I could be a man for all the bouncer knew. It was my second time coming here last night. It was around 12am and we were first in line so I didn't think the wait would be too long. There was also no cover as I had asked from the get go. We waited there easily for about 30-40 minutes watching the bouncers take side cash for letting people in from the side.. nothing out of the ordinary it always happens. That isn't what bothered me however.. we waited there, front in line, for 40 minutes, freezing, only for the bouncer to say it was $20 a head to get in. He could have told us from the get go that he was trying to finesse us instead of wasting our time. Very. Very displeased. Nica lounge was definitely more than I expected. Couldn't find it on Google maps but I'm glad I did! Going out last minute on a Sat night with no one was a little daunting, so Oakland and San Francisco was out of the question. Venue is really small. Only one bathroom for male and females. Security is VERY over barring. Bathroom lines cross into the dance floor and after waiting in line, female security will push you out the way to make sure the bartender goes first. Which is fine, but maybe saying something beforehand would be better so people don't think someone is cutting them. The music is great. Drinks are good.
