This small shop is located near Jamba juice within the strip mall. I have been to this nail salon several times and have never had any issues with my experience. As I don't have a specific person that I liked to work with, I have had the experience of working with multiple staff members and have always been pleased with my experience. And the staff members are not offended when you ask them to modify or do touch ups. I appreciate that they are willing to help me find the perfect color. And when I come in with a picture, they are willing to find the color that matches my interest, rather than just sending me to a wall to find my color choice--which is impossible to find in a sea of colors. As I never make reservations in advance, I have been fortunate to never wait when I walk in. The salon does take reservations, and you can request a specific person. Note for tips, you cannot put them on your credit card. You need to bring cash for tips. As for parking, plenty of parking around the shop. Given the gym is nearby the parking lot can get busy so you may need to walk a bit further.

That's what makes this so disappointing. Unfortunately, the way they handle payments is not professional. After my pedicure, I went to pay (with a cash tip) and was asked to send my payment through Zelle. I've paid cash in the past, so this was a bit different, but I understood. I was given a laminated card with a phone number and name, entered the information into Zelle, and the man assisting me confirmed everything before I sent it. After completing the payment, Zelle showed that the user was not registered. At that point, a woman told me not to use Zelle because it "wasn't working." I was then told they would charge my card instead, and if the Zelle payment ever went through, they would refund me. About a week later, the Zelle payment did go through ($74). I went back to the salon that Saturday and spoke with the same woman. She remembered me and asked me to write down my information for a refund, but seemed rushed and quickly moved on. It's now Tuesday, and I still haven't received a refund, even after also submitting a request through Zelle. This is really disappointing because I thought I had found my go-to salon. Their work is great, but handling payments this way is not okay. Getting my nails done is a treat for me, and I can't afford to be charged twice. I truly hope they improve their payment process because they do great work. But as of now, this experience makes it hard to return.

With Gel X you can't use too much glue or it creates space for water and dirt to get in and makes the nails pop off easily. I tried one other nail salon in town with lackluster results (the gel polish came off within a few days and the nail techs kept pushing more services...), so I wanted to do more research on a good place. After researching for some time, the best reviews came from this particular location -- the next day around noon (Thursday), I decided to call and see if I could walk in, and the gentleman on the phone encouraged me to come on right over! When I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest staff and the biggest hello from Alex! I was seated immediately on one of the most comfortable massage chairs, and I was in and out of there in 30 minutes with the best service (which is the fastest and most efficient nail experience I've ever had!). I got a gel manicure and a gel pedicure -- and I was treated so well, and I felt so pampered!! There were so many colors to choose from, and the nail technicians helped me out. Alex said that they've been there for 5 years, and the other client sitting next to me also said she's been a loyal customer since the start of their opening. I saw Alex greet people by name and go around to make sure everyone was comfortable. Leo is great and has been doing my nails for quite some time. I recently got my acrylics taken off and get just a single layer of bio gel on my natural nails with no color or manicure. When I went in a few weeks ago, I was charged $40 because what I get is very basic. When I went in yesterday, Leo wasn't available so Mya did my nails and was very sweet, but at the conclusion told me because I didn't get color my total was only $55. I was confused as I had just paid $40 a few weeks prior. I went to the front to pay and asked the guy at the front desk (who is always pushy and not the most welcoming) why I was being charged different prices in which he responded it's $62 always for bio gel with or without color. So now, no one is on the same page and I've been told 3 different prices. Annoyed is an understatement. On top of this, the workers sit in the booths while they have no clients with their shoes off and dirty feet propped up on the benches which is not only gross, but super unprofessional. It's a shame the place is tan this way, it's a huge turnoff. Especially being treated like you're in the wrong when none of them are on the same page. I looked at the reviews and I feel better knowing it wasn't only me that saw the issues here. Won't be going back anymore.
