This is third time coming for services the quality of work has been great! Customer service is fair. Today we just had an issue with payment. I pulled out 100$ cash, 5 20's folded all together. Handed them to Tiffany to pay $87 and the rest in tip. I handed her the bills before I used the restroom assuming all was good walking out. As I walk out Kathy, calls me back in and says I only have her $80 in cash. Tiffany took the bills out and they weren't even the same bills!! We went back and forth about giving $100 or $80. That was crazy embarrassing. I ended up giving her another $20 so $120 total for a $87 service. Ridiculous. Then as I walk away she asks me again, $100 or $80 .... Horrible. It may be my fault for paying Tiffany and not Kathy or the other girl but just a lesson to learn. Careful with who you pay and ask for a receipt! read more

Nice Salon is my favorite nail place in Hayward. I've been coming here religiously since 2016, and my nails are always gorgeous. A place where I always feel pampered and welcomed. Getting lashes done. Didn't know at the time Friggin Nail Polish Glue!!!! My eyes immediately started tearing up and watering. Usually it passes quickly but NO not this time. I was fanning my eyes and she went and got a fan ok it should have been fine but No. Burning. Watering she called others for help. Do u want us to take them off? Friggin yes My eyes were red and burning I had to keep stopping here during my install. I was a walk in appointment that got seated within five minutes of entering the place. I got a full set which cost me $70 due to the added designs, which is fine by me. I'm not sure what his name was, but the nail artist worked efficiently and you could tell he was well practiced. I did get a few small cuts from when he filed down the sides, but nothing major and he apologized immediately, making sure I was okay. I loved the vibe of the establishment, it played nice music and I was even offered a drink while I was there. My only complaint is that I came out with a couple small cuts and some of the nails are a bit (and I mean only a bit) bumpy. Overall, I would definitely go back!! read more

DONT COME HERE!! They offered my friend USED manicure flip flops and proceeded to prod my toes with apparently unclean tools. I had to go to the ER because pus began to leak out and my toes were so painful!I was prescribed antibiotics because I got an infection!!!!!! read more

There was only 3 people working and I only waited for about 10 minutes because everyone was busy. Lisa was the one doing my nails and my toes and she was super nice super quick and super gentle. She made sure to check in constantly to ensure I was happy with my service. All in all I loved my nails, my toes and my whole experience there. read more

Called on a Friday looking to get a pedicure the next day, Saturday morning. They were able to accommodate me as soon as they open on Saturday. I arrive and there where hardly any customers there but there were a few staff and more came in as I was getting my pedicure. A gentleman did my pedicure and did a good job and even cut my trouble nail in a way that didn't look so troublesome. The pedicure I choose had a 15 foot and leg massage and I received all 15 minutes too. Overall great experience will return. read more

Honestly i hate leaving a bad review, but after leaving here so upset and my nail artist not acknowledging that it seriously does not look the same, ( yes i mentioned to her all the nails aren't supposed to look the same) she continued to do the same 3 weird lines on my nails and said it looks like the photo i showed her....i left with a sour taste in my mouth, i asked for something very basic and simple If it cannot be done just let me know so i don't waste $75 on a set i am unhappy with, i would have gotten just a color no design. Now i have to go somewhere else tomorrow to have the gel removed and get the design i asked for originally from here. This place is great for basic services but not unique read more

Honestly I hate to do a bad review, but it felt it was necessary. My Gf went to get her nails and toes done here. The pedicure was fine, however the manicure was very painful. She gets her nails frequently and wanted to try this place out and had a terrible experience. The worker applied way too many layers of acrylic and caused the nails to burn. The coffin shape was uneven and more of a square even after she asked to fix it. Will not return. read more

For years Nice Salon has been my spot. But not any longer. Last year after re-opening they are taking advantage of their loyal customers by overbooking, using old polishes and doing shoddy work. I recently had a Gel manicure and pedicure. Normally my gel manicure last me two to three weeks and my gel pedicure last me four to six weeks. This time my manicure barely lasted a week without my nails chipping and breaking. My pedicure didn't even last 2 weeks without toes chipping. One incident that let me know that my days were number at this salon was I had made an appointment got there early and was waiting and then the owner tells me to come back tomorrow They don't value their customers they will take a walk in ahead of appointment making customers. read more

One come here a few times because I live in Hayward. Today It took me an hour and a half to get there from my job in SJ before closing. I was appreciative that they still took me at 6:30pm. A pregnant lady did my pedicure. She cut my second toe on my right foot. She didn't say sorry or anything. It started bleeding and she just kept wiping it and added pressure to try to get it to stop. Then once I put my feet back in the water it started hurting and she heard I was in pain. Then she apply and put something on to stop it from bleeding. Then when paying I said I have a coupon that I saw online. They kept saying it's only 10% but the online coupon said returning clients get 15% and it ends September of this year. I showed it to them and still they were in disbelief and the lady had to take my phone to show the manager/owner/whoever. So long story short I got the discount and STILL left a nice tip!!! They are usually friendly, but could not even say bye, thank you or anything!!! Just rude and poor business. read more

I got an appointment at 4.30 Salon was busy and I was seen at 4.55 PM which is still ok as it was a busy salon. The male technician proceeded to do my nails. He didn't check to ask if will cut my nails fully or file them. He proceeded to trim it fully . 2 of my nails got a little hurt around the edges while the cuticle was removed and buffing was done. I wasn't shown the manicure card , I then asked for it and proceeded for the gel polish. While applying the nail polish , he was using his nails to remove the extra polish around the nails. Never seen anyone do that before. There was a hand massage for a few minutes which was good. I overheard the lady at the counter telling 3 customers that there is a 15% off but when it came my turn to pay she didn't offer it and I had to proactively ask for it. All in all - I wouldn't recommend for a manicure as more training is required for the technicians to do the manicure in a way that doesn't hurt the nails . Even now my nails are hurting a little bit read more

I went with my sister and my mother. The salon was clean and tidy, the ladies working there were very polite, and my nails looked decent afterwards. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation for 2:00pm a week in advance, we ended up waiting over an hour for an open technician. It seemed quite busy, and my only guesses as to why we were left standing at the front desk for so long is that they either forgot our reservation or they overbooked themselves that afternoon. We had another appointment later that afternoon to make, so naturally we were pretty stressed. I myself didn't have any issues with my pedicure and thought the nails were done quite well, but the technician who did my mom's pedicure accidentally cut her cuticle, which stung for the rest of the day. read more

We walked in on Tues evening asking for 2 pedis, 1 fill and 1 basic mani. The got us 2 pedi stations and sat us down. Immediately, my mother and I got diff treatment. The man tech started her feet and was done in 10 mins. My lady tech offered me a menu of pedicures. I chose the 2nd option. Still at this point, the man gave my mom no choice. He ended up not giving her any massage, no salts, barely a trim of her toe nails. He asked if she wanted a manicure (Even though we said we wanted one earlier). She answered yes. He left her to "dry". I finished my pedicure, and they moved me to his nail station where he borrow the electric file the other lady used on my toes. He didnt clean it, but he used it to remove the polish on my current set of nails. Then they passed me to another lady for my fill. My mom still waiting at the pedicure station. He started a different customer that arrived after us He used that file again. Finally when he finished, my mom asked what happened to her manicure turn. He said he didn't know she wanted one. Reluctantly he started to reach for the electric file again. My mom stopped him and said no, please use something else. So he did. He gave her the fastest "manicure " He didn't clean her cuticles, or massage anything. My mom was so unhappy, she didnt even let her paint her nails. We went to pay. The collector didn' t offer us the first time discount they advertise outside. I asked for it and she hesistated bc she didn't know how to calculate it. Then she refuses to honor the prices outside. We paid the amount she asked for with the discount. We tipped in cash. We personally will not go back. read more

Just a heads up on the booking process: the site directs you to request an appointment, but it's not auto-confirmed--Sam has to accept it manually. For my first appointment, I booked for the next day and wasn't sure if it was going through, so now I just DM her directly to check in. Super easy once you know the flow. Sam herself is super sweet and easy to talk to. She recently went solo with her business, so it's just her now--and honestly, I love that. It's chill, one-on-one, and you can tell she really cares about quality. She has a gorgeous selection of colors and uses high-end products, which I think is why everything lasts so long. The first time I went, my nails were in sad shape and I honestly didn't think they'd bounce back. A month later? I've got legit nails I'm proud to show off. If you're looking for a new nail tech who's talented, kind, and really knows her stuff, definitely give Sam a try. I've already planned my next visit.

I had an enjoyable, quiet experience ( whenever I wasn't yapping!) and it was refreshing to be able to communicate exactly what I wanted for my nail shape, color, etc. My toes look so pretty! Was able to book online with a reservation which was also a bonus. Definitely recommend and will be back!
