I went with my sister and my mother. The salon was clean and tidy, the ladies working there were very polite, and my nails looked decent afterwards. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation for 2:00pm a week in advance, we ended up waiting over an hour for an open technician. It seemed quite busy, and my only guesses as to why we were left standing at the front desk for so long is that they either forgot our reservation or they overbooked themselves that afternoon. We had another appointment later that afternoon to make, so naturally we were pretty stressed. I myself didn't have any issues with my pedicure and thought the nails were done quite well, but the technician who did my mom's pedicure accidentally cut her cuticle, which stung for the rest of the day. read more

We walked in on Tues evening asking for 2 pedis, 1 fill and 1 basic mani. The got us 2 pedi stations and sat us down. Immediately, my mother and I got diff treatment. The man tech started her feet and was done in 10 mins. My lady tech offered me a menu of pedicures. I chose the 2nd option. Still at this point, the man gave my mom no choice. He ended up not giving her any massage, no salts, barely a trim of her toe nails. He asked if she wanted a manicure (Even though we said we wanted one earlier). She answered yes. He left her to "dry". I finished my pedicure, and they moved me to his nail station where he borrow the electric file the other lady used on my toes. He didnt clean it, but he used it to remove the polish on my current set of nails. Then they passed me to another lady for my fill. My mom still waiting at the pedicure station. He started a different customer that arrived after us He used that file again. Finally when he finished, my mom asked what happened to her manicure turn. He said he didn't know she wanted one. Reluctantly he started to reach for the electric file again. My mom stopped him and said no, please use something else. So he did. He gave her the fastest "manicure " He didn't clean her cuticles, or massage anything. My mom was so unhappy, she didnt even let her paint her nails. We went to pay. The collector didn' t offer us the first time discount they advertise outside. I asked for it and she hesistated bc she didn't know how to calculate it. Then she refuses to honor the prices outside. We paid the amount she asked for with the discount. We tipped in cash. We personally will not go back. read more

One come here a few times because I live in Hayward. Today It took me an hour and a half to get there from my job in SJ before closing. I was appreciative that they still took me at 6:30pm. A pregnant lady did my pedicure. She cut my second toe on my right foot. She didn't say sorry or anything. It started bleeding and she just kept wiping it and added pressure to try to get it to stop. Then once I put my feet back in the water it started hurting and she heard I was in pain. Then she apply and put something on to stop it from bleeding. Then when paying I said I have a coupon that I saw online. They kept saying it's only 10% but the online coupon said returning clients get 15% and it ends September of this year. I showed it to them and still they were in disbelief and the lady had to take my phone to show the manager/owner/whoever. So long story short I got the discount and STILL left a nice tip!!! Decided to come here based off a recommendation from a friend. Was a walk-in for dip powder removal and they asked me to wait a couple of minutes since all the techs were busy with other customers. Once started I should have left with a half service completed because it was so bad. She started ripping and peeling off my dip powder with an acrylic nail and when I told her that it hurt, she was mad. I asked her to soak them off like other/most nail salons and she told me that soaking takes longer so that's why she does peel off. I let her know that her method is hurting and to please soak, she continued the service with a sloppy way of soaking and still peeling the polish off. I really wanted to like this place, but what me and my friend experienced was VERY unacceptable. Basically paid $90 including tip for a mediocre gel polish job and painful damages to my skin due to the harsh exfoliations. In not heeding my friend's candid comment of the place (she's never been a customer): "they never seem to be fully occupied but there's always a wait, and they're not super friendly about turning you down." - we decided to treat ourselves to the most expensive mani + pedi option on the menu. We have never encountered a place that took 2.5 hours for mani + pedi. Like other reviewers have mention, the staff frequent the staff room in the back for random breaks, leaving you unattended. I also think there were too many down times, whereby a manicurist could be working on your hands as you're getting your pedicure - but alas, that didn't happen. On top of that, despite a lot of chatter in Vietnamese (which we did not understand), the staff do not actually communicate well with one another in regards to the service you requested. Me and my friend both had to remind our manicurist we had the deluxe option, to which one of replied "you didn't tell us, how are we supposed to know". Classy. Oh, speaking of the manicure - it was mediocre. Uneven nail shapes, not coloring in well etc. The cherry on top of this fantastic experience, was when they right of the bat demanded cash payments (their sign at the counter states tips are cash only) because their apparently their credit card machine was down. That was not made known to either of us at ANY point. Plus, my friend's husband was waiting for us for about an hour at the lounge area, which the staff were clearly aware. They could've let us know ahead of time instead of notifying us only at the end, and my friend's husband could've gotten us cash before payment was due. Instead, I had to run to the nearest ATM and pay a convenience fee to withdraw cash. It was $78 for gel mani + pedi, and with tip $90 total. Was it worth it to pay $90 to get painful scratches on my feet area? Absolutely not! The lady also didn't seem to care when I pointed that out. Today is day 2 and it has gotten redder and hurts even more. In short, I will never return to this salon ever again. Not even if you paid me. I refuse to support this kind of business where the staff clearly do not respect and value their customer's time, nor care about the level of service that they provide. There are better nail salons in this part of Hayward, this place is just not worth it. read more

Every time I call in to make an appointment, Kathy greets me by name and squeezes me in with my preferred Nail Goddess. Saw this nail place on my way back to my car. Decided to give it a try after seeing several positive reviews. I went in to take off my acrylics & for a manicure, which I later changed to a gel mani. An older lady took off my acrylics. She did hurt me at least 4 times with a tool. Made me flinch away, several times. She mumbled sorry (I think?) by she wasn't super attentive or mindful. When she used the plastic to take off the acrylics, it hurt because she didn't apply pressure on half of the nail...which could've resulted in chipping or ripping my real nails. Things got better after I decided to get a gel mani. The manager helped me. She was really nice and sweet and didn't rush even when new customers came in. Her professionalism deserves to be recognized. But in terms of skill, which is what my review is based on, I don't think it's worth it. They aren't as expensive as most places, and offer a reward card, which are a plus. I felt like she did a mediocre job. On one of my index fingers it looks like she missed a coat because it looks lighter than my other nails. There was also a glitter particle that randomly got on my thumb nail. I didn't notice till I inspected my nails thoroughly after left. In terms of shaping, it's okay. Wasn't perfect. I'm picky when it comes to my nails because I like it coated nicely and evenly and most of all the sides (which majority places miss), coated. This place didn't do it for me. This isn't a deal breaker for others but it is kind of for me. Conclusion Pros: -Manager is nice! (Not a lot of nail places have people/a person with a good attitude. I started coming back here in late 2021, and the quality of service has gone down noticeably over this time. I come almost every 3 weeks so I like to schedule appointments, but I still end up waiting 20 minutes or longer because they max out on walk-ins I assume. The clientele has loud and abrasive my last two trips, arguing with the staff and management which made me uncomfortable. Today I was told to "use cash next time" as if card option isn't available and I haven't been using it all this time. I'm not walking around with $100 in cash at any time, but I always have enough for a tip. The only improvement they've made is the occasional discount if you sign up for text alerts. A llady finally walks in with a group of people, scans me up and down, and asks me something in very broken English. This place sucks. First visit the older woman ripped my toe nail after I gave her 2 warnings and brought me to tears. I chose to only get a manicure by the owner and no pedi. Lasted 2.5 weeks. She basically begged me not to leave a review about it so I didn't but today was my second visit. I called and made an appointment for 5 they asked for it at 6 and I wanted it with the owner. Waited until 630 and another woman sat down with me and I told her I had a request. The owner said she will only remove my nail polish not the manicure. After about a minute she takes out the nail file. Then a customer walks in saying her nails were just messed up and the lady working on me got up to deal with her. They peer pressured the woman into getting gel instead and paying more and I told the woman she will miss her flight if she doesn't have a solid 40 min. She left and got her money back. The owner would not listen at all about my nail shape, I went over it about 5 times. She kept getting up, blunt coughing over the other 5 people close by. All staff gossip heavy What took the cake for me is that I picked clear polish and I had dirt under my nails and I pointed it out to her once she started polishing and said she'll get it after. She never got it and let me sit there cleaning my own nails after she said I'm done. Got out about 730. Oh also the equipment was not sanitized and the owner and other nail worker kept swapping tools between my and another customer. Gross. read more
