This was my fiancée and I first time hearing about this Mediterranean place. When you walk in, it feels clean, bright and comfortable. We were greeted by the most friendliest lady at the counter taking our orders and was recommended based on our preferences. My fiancée had the Falafel Pita with Greek Fries and she says it's BEST falafel she ever had compared to top rated Mediterranean restaurants she has been in. The pita was the most softest pita we ever had at any Mediterranean places we have been in. I had the Pork Belly Gyro Pita and all I can say is it's PERFECT. The flavor of the pork belly, the tzatziki combo with the fresh tomato and onions, and not to mention with French fries in there! My Go-To Food to get from there from now on! Went to try this place the other day, for the first time. Recently moved to the area and had wanted to try it out. It's pretty centrally located just a little east of campus. I went with some family members and we were all hungry. I ordered the pork souvlaki and a side of the Greek fries. They take your order and bring it out to the table. Within a short time, our food was brought out to the table. The souvlaki was hot and delicious, and had just the right amount of seasoning to it. The Greek fries were a good choice for a side, and had a good combination of flavors on top. I also had a fountain drink with my combo. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the service was very decent. It was not too crowded but there were several other customers there. Overall, it was a good experience and I do plan to go back! Give them a try, guys read more

These were really good gyros. I like niko nikos in Houston but their gyros aren't quite right so we don't get them. These remind me of the gyros we grew up with. A great balance of meat and sauce and tomato and onions (kids didn't have tomatoes on theirs). The Greek salad (no lettuce) was great. The donut hole things are fantastic. The baklava is really good, crispy and full of nuts and honey. Everything is Texas sized. As a heads up-- we ordered online and they thought we were on pacific time so everything was made two hours early, but they refreshed the food and it was fine. read more

We were looking for something different for lunch, since my daughter has been begging for Nick the Greek we gave it a shot. 3 gyros, a gyro bowl, a skewer & fries totaled almost $60...I was a bit sticker shocked, however still excited to try it. Made it home (which is only a 4 minute drive), and divided up the orders. The pita bread was a bit chewy and tough, the fries were wilted and terribly over seasoned with oregano or something. It was almost difficult to eat. I arrived at the location 15 minutes after opening so I wouldn't have expected fries that seemed hours old. I just ate at the University Drive location today, my first visit ever to this chain. I ate with a work friend group. One of our group is Vegan and for health reasons can't have animal products in his diet. At first the young lady at the counter told him after each item he asked if it had eggs/milk/butter or cheese that "Yes it does". Finally after more questioning what he was able to figure out was that it was the sauces and they didn't have to come on it. He asked if the PITA had dairy/egg products and she offered to text someone to ask?! She then said she would go "check the box". When she came back instead of giving an answer he got "he should air on the side of caution and not order that". This was the point that I realized she was not actually listening to the customers questions or at least was re-interpreting them to mean something different. Ok so its my turn and I am still reading the menu I was trying to figure out everything. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro. I saw it said it came with fries so when the young lady asked if I wanted the combo and said something else about the combo quickly. I said "No, that's ok I will just take the fries it comes with." She replied "It only comes with a few fries on it inside the wrap". I replied "Ok then I guess I will take the combo if its just 4 or 5 fries in the wrap." I pay, take my cup and get a drink and join my group. What arrives first is 2 Gyros in baskets by the hand of the young lady that took our orders. There are 3 of us so I wait to start eating. After a couple of minutes I see the utensils and sauces at the counter so I go get napkins and a cup of ketchup for my fries. When I get back to the table our 3rd meal had arrived and she was walking past me. I said "Excuse me, there are fries and whatever other combo items still coming?" Her response is "yes they are coming, we have to make sure they are Hot!" Several minutes go by and I am thinking to myself "Why are they delivering our order piecemeal?" I am not a fan of getting my main course before a salad etc.... She come back and drops off one of my friends salad and soup to me and runs off as I am trying to ask about the fries? At this point I am trying to figure out what has happened and one of my friends says the combo was soup OR fries and I got the soup. I ONLY ever spoke to this young lady on my order about fries and asked about fries when I was inquiring as to the rest of my order.
