The Greek Salad was a classic combination of chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, bell peppers, olives, and feta cheese in a red wine vinaigrette; and the Tahini Crunch Salad came with lettuce, kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, fried chickpeas, pita chips, feta cheese, scallions, dill, and bell peppers with a tahini dressing. All the vegetables and toppings were fresh, crunchy, and flavorful, making for healthy and delicious salads. But my favorite items on the menu are their bowls. The Gyro Bowl came with gyro meat (shaved from a rotating spit), yellow rice, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, feta cheese, tzatziki, and spicy yogurt. My family and I visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, we witnessed one of the cooks digging in his nose while preparing food. One of my family members immediately informed the manager because it completely ruined our appetite. Instead of having the cook stop, wash his hands, and follow proper food safety procedures, the manager simply handed him a pair of gloves and allowed him to continue cooking without washing his hands. It was as if they didn't see anything wrong with the situation. I was so disgusted that I asked for a refund. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for basic food safety is unacceptable. Cross-contamination is a serious health concern, and it's alarming that management allowed the cook to continue preparing customers' food without first washing his hands. Nick the Greek is a solid gyro establishment in the fast Greek food industry. I've visited this location a few times during the weeknights and have had generally good service here. Friendly service and the restaurant is relatively kept clean. Some workers went around bussing tables but the floors were a tad sticky and had debris on it, perhaps they wait to close up before cleaning it up? My go-to is the beef/lamb gyro. The gyros are delicious, the meat is tender and flavorful. They put the right amount of tzatziki sauce, but could always use more! What I've noticed is the gyro doesn't come with much fries in it. Not sure if it's due to the person preparing it or there's a certain amount of fries they're supposed to put in the gyro, but it could definitely include a bit more to make it more full. I also like their pork belly and chicken meat. While the gyro is my typical choice, the bowls are probably the best for your buck. For an extra dollar or so more, it's much more filling and minus the pita carbs! Overall, I'm still a fan of Mediterranean food and would come back for the food but hope there is improvement on how their pitas are constructed. read more

I even added a $2.00 tip. After leaving with my order I noticed I was charged $.50 for the cucumbers which was three small pieces. I also wasn't credited for removing the lettuce or tomatoes.
