We came in party of 3. No line. The Casey at the counter was attentive and informative . He explained the menu very well. We were oriented to order a wrap, pita, or a salad with or without protein. The restaurant was cleaned and noise was a at a minimum. Nice music playing. But, it was low. I could hear my colleagues talking. The food was delicious. read more

This location provided great service. We were greeted kindly by the guy up front and he was very kind and even sold us on the new item, the steak bowl even though we initially went it specifically for the gyro wraps, which we were craving for. Ended up with the steak bowl and one gyro. The new steak bowl was actually really delicious, and every component was very flavorful from the kale salad, to the pickled onions, to the basmati, to the steak and chimichuri sauce. There was a huge pool of oil I saw from the rice after I ate all the vegetables which was a turn off from this "healthy" meal but really good bowl still. I think there was five cubes of the steak only though so felt a little short on the steak for $15.50 almost. The gyro we got was loaded and they didn't skimp on the white sauce in it. Sat outside with our dogs as they had a nice patio area too. read more

It was really crowded this particular Friday with lots of people coming in and out for take out as well as families and couples in the restaurant (20+ dining in). It took about only 5 minutes to get my food to go-pretty quick . I ordered the Chicken Gyro Plate which comes with a side salad. I also ordered a Baklava; however, when I went to pick up my to go bag, the baklava wasn't in the bag. I guess you're supposed to just take one on your own after you pay(??). They (baklavas) happened to be stored to the right of the cashier area, next to the drinks. That's probably my only critique - I assumed the ordered items would all be in the bag. Good thing I checked before leaving. Other than that, food was yummy and fresh. The vibe by the employees and patrons was friendly with splashes of children laughing in delight that they get to eat greek food tnite. Solid Greek fast food in Persimmon Place. Our hungry foursome stopped by after holiday shopping nearby, and ordered drinks and food. Total bill was a little over $50 before tax and tip. We all tried each others food, and I confess it was all so delish I enjoyed all that we ordered! My faves were probably the pork belly and the beef burger, with the beefteki pita close behind. My daughter ordered a Greek Soda but shared half of it with me as she knows I love lemon- lime flavor. It was refreshing. Unfortunately, I was served beef anyway. On top of that, the salad was spoiled. Shortly after eating it, I became extremely sick and started vomiting repeatedly. I called the restaurant to let them know what happened, but no one responded or made any effort to address the situation or follow up with me. Serving someone meat that goes against their religious beliefs is a serious mistake, and serving spoiled food is unacceptable. I hope the restaurant improves its food safety practices and pays closer attention to customers' dietary and religious restrictions so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

The fried dumplings were soggy instead of crispy. The kappa roll and avocado roll looked nothing like the photos. They were ridiculously oversized, almost as if they were trying to fill people up with rice instead of making good ingredients. They honestly looked unappetizing before I even took a bite. The udon was simply bad. The soba was even worse--it had a sour, spoiled taste. I took one sip of the broth and immediately spat it out. The service issue wasn't the server's fault. The restaurant had only one server handling an all-you-can-eat operation, so every dish took forever to arrive, and even getting the check took an incredibly long time. Finally, the restroom smelled so terrible that it completely killed what little appetite I had left. It was difficult to even walk inside because of the odor. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It wasn't just disappointing--it was a complete waste of money.

The last couple of times I've ordered them, the Cheesling powder was only lightly sprinkled on top instead of fully coating the wings, so they looked nothing like the photos on the menu. It almost seemed like the wings were placed into the to-go box first and then the powder was sprinkled over them. At other locations, I've watched them toss the wings in the Cheesling powder first, giving them a thick, even coating before boxing them up. The other flavors have been pretty consistent, but it's disappointing that my favorite item hasn't been. Service has also been quite slow on several visits. I really hope they improve because I'd love to support this location. But if the Cheesling wings continue to be this inconsistent, I'll probably just make the drive to one of the other Bay Area locations whenever I'm craving them.

I love this place and eat here often. The food is always great and there service is friendly. My only suggestion would be to have an upgraded combo item, so when you got for one of the bottled drinks, you can still get fries or a salad at a discounted rate. I got a Vikos water with my gyro and was then asked if I wanted to make it a combo, so I said sure, but I'm sure there is an upcharge for my water, and the young lady said, oh we can't do combos with the bottled drinks, so I opted not to get the fries. I just wanna start off by saying thank you to Ryan who helped guide me through the menu. He was telling me what was good and popular as we have never been to Nick The Greek before. The restaurant was very clean and smelled good. He gave my kids a sample of the Froyo, as they wanted vanilla ice cream, but he had explained that it's going to taste a little bit different. He went above and beyond to make sure our first time there was one to remember.
