Mixed enthusiasm for Panera; enjoying some menu/bakery items, but underwhelmed by portion sizes at high prices. Had fantastic experience at this location w/ pu order. Premium Family Feast w/ Cookies value meal proved satisfying w/ something for everyone, at reasonable cost. 2 Chipotle Chicken Avo Melt halves (black pepper focaccia was pillow-y soft amazing!) 2 Bacon Turkey Bravo halves; full Fuji Apple Chicken Salad, "Quart" Broccoli Ched Soup, full baguette, 4 Oatmeal Raisin Berry Cookies. Is it enough for 4? Was just my husband & I & we feasted on it twice! That breaks down to $11.50/pp each meal. Love they include entire baguette in pre-sliced portions (some which I toasted next day w/ eggs.) Meal was thoughtfully packaged w/ everything correct, including requests for heavier or lighter condiments on sandwiches, & salad looking very fresh (but dressing cups need to be fuller). My only gripe, "Premium" Family Feast restricts soup choice, when point of "premium" is to make custom selections. (Also tried Cherry Lime Fresca. I don't do soda/sports drinks- was most refreshing drink ever tacked on to a fast casual meal! Highly Recommend! Chicken Roma Asiago Bagel Stack delish w/ surprisingly tender bagel.) Yes, it's mostly bread (it's in the name) but an indulgent, satisfying, meal. Panera will be a regular stop if they keep quality up & continue value meals. read more

As I'm eating lunch again here, I'm thinking about what six-month workday lunch at this Panera has done for me! I've lost about five or six lbs!!! This is really something because I'm kinda slender and my weight is always quite stable, so to lose five lbs is a big deal for me. This Panera location has a pretty awesome team! Update.... This is what they are calling a full salad, $13 for what would be a side salad at a restaurant. I've left feedback but apparently nothing changes. This is the only Panera bread that I've ever eaten at that serves such a small portion. The salad itself is delicious but they really need to up the portion size or charge less. read more

Despite speaking to the manager several times, they continuously mess up my orders. In one instance, they gave me the wrong sandwich, which I had to throw away because it was not a sandwich that I liked. I sent an email to complain and heard nothing back then the next week I let them know that I sent the email and I was told that the manager was responding to the email and also sending a gift card via email as an apology for the mistake. I never received a response to my email nor did ever receive a gift card. No big deal.. Sometime after I was in the drive-through and I ordered the same sandwich and despite me, repeating the order back to the cashier who took my order, they still got the order wrong and gave me the wrong size drink. I bought this to the attention of the manager as well. Today I ordered two chicken, avocado, BLT sandwiches only to find that neither sandwich had avocado. I brought us to the attention of the manager, and also complained to him about the previous errors. He offered to make the sandwiches over, but offered no apology and did not address the fact that I never received the gift card that I was promised and that they continuously get my order wrong. Food and service is always great but someone really needs to work on the bathrooms. I've walked in there a few times over a 3 week period and it was disgusting to see the same filth all over the toilet. If your employees won't clean it properly, time to get a cleaning service. For a handicapped person to walk in that bathroom and need to go somewhere else... It shouldn't happen. read more

This review isn't for the taste of the food it is for the portion sizes. I bought a turkey sandwich and it was so small but yet so expensive . Speaking of expensive, I really love the salad, but the portions are ridiculous for $13 for a salad you would expect it to be filled to the top. Time after time I go and it's half a salad , apparently no one from the restaurant reads these reviews because nothing ever changes. Yesterday my Fuji apple salad literally had three apple chips on the top. Yes , you can count them. I ordered extra onions and that was missing from the salad and when I asked her for them, she looked at me like I had two heads she put about 4 onion slices in a cup. I had lunch with my friend who was in from California and he said wow these portions are skimpy! We were hungry about two hours after we ate. The salads are delicious, but someone really needs to step up on the portion sizes. Otherwise it's a complete rip off! read more

It's a Panera - in Pottstown. yay! This is everything you've come to expect of Panera with good food and reasonable prices. If I had a minor quibble it would be with the open, bright, rectangular layout which is new to me from the typical Panera broken up into different seating areas. It makes it feel more fast food-ish. read more

Our family loves Panera. Wherever we travel, we look for a Panera. We are so excited there is one in Pottstown. The food is exactly as (good) as we expect from other locations in the US. Staff is very efficient and friendly. They also have the electronic kiosks if you are a regular and just want your typical order to pop up. read more
