He is a hidden gem .. located upstairs hidden from the front of the parking lot. Once you come in the doors the girls in front are all very so sweet.. very talk-able and friendly. I told Dr. Loo my concerns and how many years of dental work I had got done growing up. And he explained everything to me and of course finances has always came up because of my budget. He never pressured me.. and good work doesn't happen overnight. I am so happy I finally get to have that perfect smile. We recently did veeners and I couldn't be happier. I had some concerns about my teeth though and knew it was about time to go. I asked around to see if any of my friends had recommendations and Distinctive Dental was brought up. They were able to schedule my first appointment within a few weeks and when I got there they had a cute little sign with my name on it welcoming me to the practice. I found out at the appointment that some of the concerns I had were valid and I would need a decent amount of dental work (which I was expecting overall). Because of this, I've been into Distinctive Dental quite a few times over the past month and a half and have had a number of different procedures done and I've been nothing but happy with the services I've received. Firstly, and most importantly for me, the staff is so sweet. I know I'm not the easiest patient to deal with because I have so much dental anxiety that it has turned into crying in their office and even a panic attack during one of the procedures (at no fault to the staff - completely a personal issue both times). During all of this, the staff was so empathetic and supportive. I've really appreciated the overall demeanor and bedside manner from each of the people that I've worked with. Also, not sure if they all just remember me at this point or if it's in my file, but I feel like they always know the things to talk to me about to work down my nerves - primarily my dog LOL at this point I've probably showed pictures to most of the staff in the office haha In addition to being super kind and supportive, I've always appreciated that they've never pushed me into any procedures faster than I wanted to go. During my first consultation, we discussed a lot of different issues and things we could fix whether that be for tooth health or aesthetic. After this initial discussion where I asked how I should prioritize my treatment, they made me a very clear treatment plan and have let me move at my own pace with what I want to get done first. Dr. Loo was also super informative about what exactly he was doing at each step of each of the procedures. I appreciated this because it gave some context to what was going on in my mouth and helped to ease some nerves. They are also super accommodating with scheduling. I was leaving to go out of town shortly after my consultation and some of the work we had discussed was more urgent in nature and the staff at the front was super helpful in working around my work schedule to ensure I could get certain things in before I left. Overall, the office seems super clean and well kept and they have a fish tank in the front which I love to look at while waiting for my appointment (though I've never waited longer than like 5 minutes). They always temperature check when people go in and their staff is always masked. They also always offer me water and are overall super welcoming. I would highly recommend Dr. Loo's office if you're looking for a new dentist and particularly if you are someone who's nervous about going to the dentist. I am like 10/10 anxiety ridden about dentist's visits but Dr. Loo's office has been so great and has helped to alleviate some of the nerves I have.

He told me that I needed to fix a slide (where your teeth touch, then slide together). In his own words, this "was easily taken care of" with equilibration. I had no crowns on my teeth. I went into hyperocclusion, as my teeth did not have enough vertical or horizontal space between them. Since then I have had orthodontics 3 times and equilibration from several specialists to increase the space between my upper and lower teeth. I had to have my teeth intruded into the gums and my front teeth moved outward to create room. After 15 years I am still trying to resolve this HORRIBLE procedure. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
