The prices for the combo meals have gone up insane amounts. They were $13 3 years ago. They're now $20. Sandwiches are still reasonably priced and the food quality is still good. Not too long ago, I placed an order from here, and most of it was incorrect or there were parts missing. My beef shawarma and kibbee were both supposed to come with sauce, but did not. The fries were supposed to come with sauce on the side, but instead came with the sauce on them. I requested extra tahini and garlic sauce and received neither. I also requested utensils, which also were not received. To make matters worse, I'm supposed to be working on a paper right now, so I sent my husband to have the order corrected, and they tried to charge him to fix their mistakes. The receipt shows that all the extra sauces were already paid for, and it was notated that I wanted the chili lime sauce on the side for my fries. For $41, the order should've been correct, the first time around and it is absolutely ridiculous that we were expected to pay for them to provide what was already paid for. The food here is amazing, I look forward to eating here every time I am in Kalamazoo. In fact, playing in a tennis tournament this past weekend I picked up food here three different times. Try the shish kafta. The tabouli was incredible. But even better than the food, was the awesome, friendly, thoughtful people who work there. Excellent meal. Shawarma chicken is fantastic with creamy garlic spread on the side. Hummus is very good and comes with a large basket of thin pita triangles. King tea is so good, that we try to duplicate the recipe at home. The wait staff and owner are very welcoming and kind. read more

Tried the grape leaves with meat, falafal, kibbee, and chicken shawarma sandwich. Falafal was so flavorful and cooked perfectly,awesome! Plus the portion size was well worth 75 cents a piece. Grape leaves were wrapped tightly and the filling had a great flavor with a clean finish. I was not a fan of the kibbee, it seemed over cooked and the filling just wasn't very good compared to many other places I've had it. The sauce they bring you with the falafal and the kibbee isnt good at all seems like extremely watered down tihini sauce, tell them to forget that sauce and get the garlic yogurt sauce for your falafal it's so amazing! Chicken shawarma was delicious, little oily but great flavor and texture. Will definitely be a new go to spot for me when in Kalamazoo Mmmm mmm. read more

Very over priced in my opening... menu on yelp needs updating, shish kafta which is advertised as lamb is actually beef, a little bland to my liking... I met the owner who told me about his restaurants. I love trying out new places esp when I'm new to the area. Simply amazing!!!!! This place clearly says open till 10 PM outside their door and also on yelp. I get there to eat at 910 and they tell me dining is closed. If dining closes early put a sign up not close at your own. read more

This is our go-to for lebanese food. The beef schwarma is as it should be and tasty. I LOVE their dolmas!!! The lentil soup is phenomenal as well! Even better are the hand crafted slushies! These people are really really nice and were very patient with a first timer trying to navigate the menu. I went for the shawafel which had chicken beef and falafel. I also got the Chilli lime fries. The sandwich was very very dry and the fries were soggy. Asked for sauce on the side and they were still soggy.
