I have gone to Heather for 8 years, starting at another salon before she opened Rhapsody Hair, and I cannot imagine trusting my hair to anyone else. The salon is quaint and filled with lush green plants -- soothing just to walk in. She is a true professional who listens but also makes suggestions based on what works for your hair. I have gone back and forth between red and blonde for years, and she is equally amazing at both -- right now she has me doing red underneath blonde (although the attached picture shows a pink toner over my blonde, a temporary way to have fun with my hair!) Beyond her skill, she is easy to be around -- funny, chill, great conversation. She sells a great product line, and the salon is eco-friendly, recycling everything including hair and foils. We met for a consultation and then I had my first appt a week or so later. It was a marathon appt because it was a color correction, but she made me feel comfortable, didn't rush anything, and clearly communicated to me all of what she could reasonably accomplish, and what she couldn't (given the health of my hair). She is conscientious, will let her feelings be known if she thinks something you want will damage your hair, and, last but not least, is a total sweetheart and easy to talk to.
