    Disgusting Mac and cheese
    Isabel S.

Out of the options here at Reading Terminal - do not eat here. The Mac and cheese is disgusting either way zero flavor and a runny white sauce. The chicken tenders are mid and when I asked for ranch the jerk who gave me my order said I had to get in line and pay for it ? An order doesn't come with 1 sauce ? There are tons of better options don't eat here.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I definitely would. Located inside the Reading Terminal Market, Hunger Burger has the perfect burger. It's tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The employees are very nice and super thoughtful. Since it was my first time, they gave me a breakdown of the entire menu, which helped me decide on picking the Mac & Cheese Burger. I won't lie, this is my dream burger. I usually make this at home, so to find it here was a match made in heaven. The mac and cheese was creamy and did not overpower the burger. The combination delivered a mouthwatering blend of cheesy goodness and juicy, savory perfection I totally recommend this place. Whenever I return to Philly, this will be the first place I go to.

We were in Phiy for a wedding and naturally we had to stop at the Reading Terminal Market! There are so many options in this market, its super hard to choose! But if youre in the mood for burgers, HB is the place to go! Their burgers are DELICIOUS! Their special sauce is amazing! I got the single with Bacon and my boyfriend got one with an egg and it was out of this world!! We also got the fries with the cheese and bacon, wow!! I definetly recommend this place when visiting this market!

A popular eatery in the Reading Terminal Market. Service was friendly. Prices are reasonable considering the portions. Made to order. Everything was delicious! Scallop Potatoes: potatoes were soft, cheezy and creamy Fish Sandwich: huge portion, thick, flaky and crispy Burger: meaty and flavorful Crab mac&cheese: ooey-gooey cheeziness and big chunks of crab Breakfast Bowl: all of your favorites sauteed into a cheesy bowl- absolutely yummy

They have the best variety of mac and cheese.

I know it is a burger place and they offered a fantastic menu. Unfortunately, we really didn't have a lot of time and this place was busy. Actually it was like a mad house. We wanted something quick and easy. Their Mac and cheeses looked amazing and that really caught my eye and it was a no brainer for me. They had a large fresh looking selection. Lobster, Crab or regular Mac and cheese. We went for the regular. It was creamy, not overly cheesy. You know how sometimes mac and cheese can be heavy and it can sit in your stomach like a rock. Not this mac and cheese it really just hit the spot. It was so good that we tried to go back the next day. They are located in a very large food hall reading terminal market. I was surprised that they were closed on Sundays. The food hall was ridiculously busy. The next time we are in the area we are definitely coming back. Maybe I will order a burger too :-)

Tried the Philbert Burger at Hunger Burger in the Reading Terminal Market. It's a SmashBurger and it was awesome! Service was friendly, place was busy and the food was served hot and fresh. The Philbert is basically a bacon cheese burger. I added fried onions and mustard, along with the ketchup and mayo that is part of the burger.

Great burger, okay fries, little pricey even for the location. Given the market location I understand a price premium but found the price a little high even for that. The food was good though, except the fries which were slightly below average. Service was friendly and quick enough.

The vibe: Slow, but friendly service. The guy at the register helped answer our questions & suggested we try the loaded fries since it's our first time trying them out. The fries: Ordered the loaded chicken bacon ranch fries & when they say loaded they mean it! Generous portion & enough to be an entree for 1-2 people depending on how hungry you are. Plenty of toppings, well seasoned, & the ranch sauce was a winner vs their homemade HB sauce (ketchup, mayo). Our only recommendation would be swap the HB sauce for BBQ sauce & more cheese sauce. Other than that, highly recommend!

    Mediterranean Salad (small)

I didn't have a high expectation here. I stopped here because I was indecisive and this had a shorter line than other. However, I am glad everything aligned correctly that I ended up here. I got the a Fun Guy Burger and a small Mediterranean Salad. The burger hit the spot. It was sooooo good. I got it without the HB sauce. The grilled mushrooms and onions made the burger extra special. The Mediterranean Salad was fresh and not over dressed. Glad I decided to get lunch here today. Overall- A+.

The pickled red onions really elevated this dish. 5/5 The grilled salmon had a great char and crunch. It was not dry nor over cooked. 5/5 The burger was delicious just as a burger should be and the famous duck fat fries were very crunchy. 5/5 for both Happy hour is really the time to go, but make sure they honor your reservation. We chose this because the menu had a nice mix of southern and American favorites that they weren't accustomed to. You should've seen two northern boys trying to describe grits to a Swede. Our waitress was awesome. She was great at explaining things and talking about each dish. Of course there were questions. Some things probably got lost in translation but everyone was happy with their choices. I also feel like servers are always put in an awkward position when you ask them to help you choose. Food is like art. It's so subjective. So for starters we got the fried greet tomatoes and the Burrata. Burrata was not ideal for sharing with people you do not know. It was one large piece of toast. So she actually took it back and someone cut it into 4 sections for us. The fried green tomatoes were awesome. It had a nice tangy sauce with sweeter pickles that came along side. My colleague got the open faced chicken sandwich which was an enormous amount of food. It was two fat chicken pieces on two thick slices of toast. I got the salmon sticky rice bowl with a side of the charred broccoli. Both were so delicious. The salmon had some broccoli in it too. So I really over did it. The charred broccoli side had crusted Parmesan in it and a creamy sauce. Both dishes were just knock outs. Almost forgot I got the love latte too. That was really good. I got it with oat milk. So I highly recommend this place. Great for a business lunch too. Easy to hear one another. Music wasn't too loud. Oh they were very gracious with us. We were 15 minutes late because I wouldn't stop talking in the pre lunch meeting. Yeah I'm that guy. Figures I'd be on Yelp.

We asked for the toppings on the side because, you know, kids, but WOW. The vodka sauce was delicious, and the pickled tomato concoction that came with them? I could've bathed in it. The calamari was perfectly crisp and came with the unexpected bonus of onion rings, which were ever-so-lightly battered and perfectly crunchy. And once again, the sauces were superb. The boys shared a cheese pizza, half pepperoni, and really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the burger, and yes, I stole a bite--and yes, to no one's surprise, it was amazing. We also ordered the charred broccoli after seeing everyone rave about it online. They were NOT wrong. Creamy, smoky, charred perfection. And finally... drumroll please... the 10 oz. smoked Duroc pork chop! OH. EM. GEEE. Perfectly charred on the outside and incredibly juicy inside, sitting in the most delicious smoky morita-apricot glaze and topped with a bright cucumber-melon salad with mint and blue basil. The contrast was perfection! The rich, smoky pork, the sweet and slightly spicy glaze, and that cool, fresh salad on top. Every bite had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Easily one of the best pork chops I've ever had. As wonderful as the food was, the service somehow made the experience even better. From the minute we arrived, we were treated like family coming home for the holidays. Warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. What an absolute joy of a restaurant.
