When I hear "outlet" or "factory store", I expect to see at least 30-40% off. When I see a sign that says "clearance" we're talking 50% and up... So why is this pair of sweats formerly priced as 49.99 marked as 39.99? That's not a clearance... that's a mere discount. The Nike outlet stores just aren't what they used to be. I did manage to walk away with at least one deal I felt was fantastic. But a good deal (for a frugal chick like myself at least) are few and far between... you've gotta keep coming back. I found a pair of dunks for $19.99 and bought another pair of... well some red and gold shoe that I can't remember the name of for 24.99. I can't give the store such a low rating JUST because of the prices... the customer service sucked. Two associates were at the register chatting it up, one is playing with the atm/credit machine and it looks like she's buying something... she's not. The other is folding clothes on top of the register, and they're both gossiping about so & so's brother and this that and the other. I'm looking like a lost puppy because there's no one on the other registers and they haven't even acknowledged me when I step up to the register. After leaving and giong to check the other registers and coming back, the girl folding finally asks me if I'm ready. Uh- YEAH! And then she tried to charge me $29.99 for the shoes marked as 24.99. I'll admit that I'll probably come back to search for another deal... but I won't like it. read more

I was at a Sports Authority store less than an hour before I was at this Nike Factory store. The Sports Authority store had more styles of Nike running shoes than the Nike store. The other reviewers can and do attest to the prices of this factory store being kind of distorted. The only excuse I can make for this store is... I guess the minds at Nike are good at making and marketing shoes and not good at retailing them. read more

Place is very disorganized. Can't find the right shoes. See alot of workers chitchatting during busy hours. In fact, alarms are going off while kids are stealing clothes and shoes. These workers still continue to mingle. I prefer the San Jose more. Better selection, less chaotic. read more

I'm not so sure about the service here, but if you look around here long enough (and actually look at the fine print of the deals), there are some real bargains. I was able to buy some basketball shoes here for under $30 (with tax), which is quite hard to match either online or any of the typical sporting goods or department stores. Depending on what styles you like, they also carry a variety of Air Force One shoes as well as Air Jordan shoes at good prices too (I saw a pair of Air Jordans for around $40!). Thus, if you want to look good in casual sportswear that bears the "swoosh" logo, but don't want to pay high prices associated with the brand, check out the Nike Factory Store. read more

Hardly have anything worthwhile for the knowledgable Nike wearer. Employ a bunch of children who do not know the products well enough, and they purchase much of the high quality Jordan and Nike shoes before they are put out on the shelves. I check in here and there in hopes of getting lucky, but dont get excited about it if you're traveling in from out of the area. The Gilroy and Marina stores usually have better finds. read more

If you're addicted to the sweat shop swoosh (like I am) then this is the place to be. I told myself millions of times not to contribute to sweat shops, but I don't feel so bad for the prices that I pay at this outlet. I waited and waited for specific shoes to go on sale at Footlocker, and if you wait as long as I do, you're lucky to find them on the clearance rack on the back wall for 50% off Footlocker price. Also I am big on their T-shirt buys, 2 for $16, stuff like that. I don't like to buy Nike at regular price, though you can probably catch me in this store pretty often. read more

When I need Nike gear, I either go to this store or the store in San Leandro. If you've been to the store in San Leandro, you already know why you can't find anything nice there. This store in Great Mall has been consistent throughout the years. I went over the weekend and picked up a pair of Hyperdunk 2013s for basically half of retail. It wasn't some ugly colorway either. Usually they mark off the ugly colorways so they sell faster. I've been to the Vacaville and San Leandro stores recently and neither of them had the shoes in this colorway for this low of a price. The size range of all the shoes are great as well. The staff is so and so as usual. I was looking at the clearance rack and one of the staff members blocked my view by standing in front of the rack -- never moved, just stood there not doing anything. Overall, one of the better Nike stores. I consistently find what I need here. read more

Having visited Nike outlet at Gilroy and comparing it to Great Mall I feel the variety and discount offered in this milpitas location is worth it and good. Love the discount and varieties of shoes on the july4th weekend. Will be back to shop for quality gear in great price and also to see if they really do have a special long weekend sale or if it's consistently low at all times. read more

Meeh, there's no staff around to help you out, ask if you need help, or see if you're doing OK. Oh wait, that's right, they're all up in the front talking to each other about what happened the night before or what they're going to do today. There selection isn't all that great, they have a much better one at Gilroy. They do have a nice clothing selection if you're looking for a new Nike fit or shirt. Nike has always been my favorite store especially the outlet one at the great mall with excellent prices! Today I was highly disappointed to come into the store today ready to buy a pair of Nikes but could not find an available worker on the floor to help me out. I didn't see any workers around or had anyone greet me. I think the customer service at this store needs to be improved. read more

Great deals for shoes but it's a hit or miss at an Outlet store. I come here pretty often to keep an eye on new shoes that the stock weekly. Sometimes there are great deals on Clearance shoes and apparel. My biggest complaint about this store is about a manager that used to work there. I bought a pair on Nike Hyperdunks even though i wasn't sure I wanted them. The shoe was primarily white so the bottom of it had some dust on it from maybe someone else trying it on before. I didn't think anything much of it. After two days I decided I didn't want it so I came back to return it. The manager came out look at the bottom of the shoe and told me that it looked like I wore it. I told him I wore it once in the house to try it on and MAYBE someone else tried on this pair in the store before. There are no scuff marks on any part of the shoe and IT's only been two days. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT? Don't get me wrong...I'd still but something from here but the next time they question me I'd tell them i don't have to answer that question because CLEARLY the POLICY says I can return anything within 30 days for ANY reason! read more

I remember the first time I ever came here was when I was a freshman in high school and bought the Nike Womens Low Premium Safari Edition Dunks. Ever since then, I haven't been to this store till I met my boyfriend. He usually comes here to buy socks since it's cheaper than buying them from the actual shoe stores (Finish Line, Champs, Footlocker, and etc.). When we came recently, they were closed due to remodeling. We were really mad since the only reason why we came to Great Mall was just to come to this store. Not a big selection here for a store that's pretty big in size. I only come here for Nike's running gear and they never have my size. Only M's, Lg's, and up. My guess is everyone swoops all the smaller sizes? Ive noticed when I walk in here people stare at my feet. Other customers or the workers. I met a dude that works here at a party he told me they constantly get bugged all the time for Air Jordan Releases and Nike SB's. Occationally they have Nike SB"s. Parking is always away from the actual Store at this location. They only have so many openings into the mall. So you can't usually find parking close by to the opening and then you have to walk quite a bit to find the store. Hopefully, you know where you are, but to get here. Go to Entrance 3 or is it C? lmao. Sorry its labeled one of those. This is the #1 Nike Outlet in the San Francisco Bay Area to me. I have ALWAYS found a good deal on something that i want in this particular store. Not always so in the other Outlet/Factory stores. Give this place a go and walk around the mall. I'm not sure if it's because I've had experience as a manager in retail, but the customer service in here wasn't very impressive. The associates aren't very helpful...mostly because it seemed like they didn't want to help. I've gone to this store a few times and each visit was.. "meh." I would have given 1 star but I was actually helped by one of their team leads. I've gone to this store a few times and that was the only time a worker there seemed like they really wanted to help me find what I was looking for. At the register, I explained I was buying a Valentine's present for my boyfriend and expressed that I wasn't too sure about the shoes I had picked. Their team lead on duty showed me other options and his personal favorite picks. Came in to buy a Nike sweater.. waited over 5mins at the register to be helped by supervisor who was very rude and disrespectful. Tried to get my EP discount because i have a relative who works at nike but the supervisor rudely denied my sale. He also, threatened me by stating "don't argue with me because it will only be worse for your sister". Who works at this particular store my transaction had nothing to do with my sister as a worker. It really depends on what day you go. For instance, today i got a pair of Nike Twisted Tempo dri-fit shorts for $5.20. AFTER taxes :) Since this was a one-in-a-lifetime opporunity, I also got some other pair for $9.97. Thats TWO pairs of Nike shorts for a little over $15 (fifteen dollars and seventeen cents to be exact). Incredible or what? On the Nike website, these shorts retail for around $45 EACH. I come here pretty often hoping to find some goodies for a good deal. I see good deals but its rare for me to find something for ME. I think the last thing I bought was a Manny Pacquiao tshirt for like $20 and a pair of Nike frees for like $70. Yeah the shoes were like $70...don't know if I even got a good deal cuz I always have gift cards to Finish Line that they keep sending me... I always get coupons to Footlocker, Champs, and Finishline soooooo would it have been cheaper if I just gotten my shoes there? Maybe... So $70 felt kinda a lot to me at Nike lol. I can never find anything for myself but they do have good deals. I always go to the baby section hoping to find some good Jordan retros for my kid. So far I got the cool grey 9s for $30 and a pair of 13s for $40. Not bad for baby size! So I'm always in here hoping to find goodies for my kid. Not so much for me though. I see stuff that I would get but it ain't cheap enough for me to buy since I am a big cheapo. I needed to buy a pair of shoes for my dad so I stopped by Nike on Sunday. They have such great prices. There were some shoes for men at $24.99 (but only the big sizes left by the time I got there). I found a great pair of walking/running shoes for my dad that was only $39.99. What a good deal! There were a lot of great deals on women's shoes too. The clothing all had sales signs on them. Service was good. I asked one of the guys to explain the benefits of the shoes and he took his time in doing so. read more

This place rocks! I didn't mean to end up shopping here, it just kind of happened. I was intending to grab a pair of shoes from another of the billion shoe stores in the Great Mall. However, upon seeing the Nike sign, I was immediately drawn in. And, glad to be. The employees here were over the top (not annoyingly so) with appreciation for the opportunity to help. There were several of them, and they were eager to help find sizes and suggest styles. In the end, I bought 3 pair of shoes at unbelievable discount prices. The gal at the cash register was a gem, I just wish I could remember her name in order to giver her props. The only downside of the whole experience was the annoying and loud rap music that was blasting throughout the store. Will definitely be back to buy more shoes here for the whole family! read more
