I was next door with one of my friends getting our nails done and since I got done first, I quickly popped over to Shoe Palace to check out their selection. I've been meaning to pick up some shoes for my husband but just haven't found the time. As soon as I walked in, I was quickly greeted by all the staff -- I think there were a total of 4 team members on the floor (this was on July 4th). A younger sales guy approached me and asked if he could help me look for anything specific. I explained that I wanted some comfortable Jordan's that were all black or mostly black. He helped me narrow down some options and I ended up purchasing the black Air Max 90s. The store was well kept, the staff were easygoing, and I was in and out within 15 minutes. Whole time we're in there they don't even acknowledge us being the only ones there. We then asked for a size waiting for a while, meanwhile they're just all standing behind the counter doing nothing. 4 lazy workers on Sunday 11/14 at 3:30 PM. Non existent customer service. No greeting or acknowledgement when entering store, didn't even bother to look up to see if anyone needed help and in fact seemed like they were trying to avoid contact so that they could do as little as possible. All 4 employees were standing around the cash register chatting while there were 3-4 groups in the store looking around for help. We would have picked up 3 pairs of shoes but there was no one to help us... These 4 should be fired. I guess to them minimum wage means minimum effort.. We came here looking for a specific shoe that the Eastridge Mall didn't have. This was in the same plaza as FoodMax so parking was not bad. It was a Saturday afternoon and there were some people shopping here. There was a good amount of shoes here but as far as show brands are concerned, there were only a select number like Nike or Adidas. If you're looking for some other shoe brand then they might have it here. They sold other things like jackets and jerseys besides shoes. Came in to buy some Jordan's for my daughters birthday all was well until the girl helping me stoped to talk on the phone and beg some guy to bring her lunchI was seriously upset and trying to be in and out. But this was the only store that had my daughter daughter size so I stood around while the other worker was helping multiple customers finally had time to help me. Here I go again with the shoes. I went here with my cousin after our meal at a fast food place. We ended up walking to this store, attempting to burn off what we ate. Apparently we didn't burn much. The store was not busy at all. There was a very good selection of shoes here. The selection was so good that I was able to find another diamond in the rough. The sales associate was very help. As I was making my purchase, he offered me to use his employee discount if I wanted to purchase some apparel to match the shoes. I'll definitely come back here. The staff here is very cool. I recommend this store for the quality of service I received there. The manager Joseph is outstanding. He took care of a problem we had with another Shoe Palace (Eastridge Mall San Jose, Ca). Eastridge gave me a pair of two right foot shoes. I didn't notice it until I got home. I called the manager at Eastridge and was told to bring the shoes in and get my money back. I told them it was a great inconvenience to me to go way back there. Also they were for a function that same day. I asked him if I could at least get a discount on another pair of shoes or at least some store credit and was told no, they can't do that. I called another Shoe Palace nearby, at Tully Road corners, and was told by the manager to come by he would give me a 10% discount on whatever shoe I would like to buy. Long story short, I bought the shoes at the Tully Road Shoe Palace with the 10% discount. They have gained a loyal customer here. Looking for a decent pair of basketball shoes for my 11 year old, without spending $100 on them. Phoned over to the shoe palace to find out if they had anything in his size in my price range, and they wouldn't tell me how much their shoes were, just saying that I should come in and look. The employee on the line insisted that it's company policy not to discuss price. They're either lazy or ignorant. We live in the internet era, where companies widely publicize their prices online. The Shoe Palace website says "Relaunching Soon" while other companies' sites are open for business. Whomever is responsible for business development at Shoe Palace clearly needs a lesson in customer acquisition and retention. My money will go elsewhere. read more

The best shoe palace out of all of them! My boy Andy always takes care of me, sellers there are trained well, and aren't annoying like at the other shoe palaces. I came in frustrated about a shoe that didn't fit right. It was extremely uncomfortable. I was kind of dismissive and persistent of what they were trying to tell me but Isaac calmed me down and after hearing what I had to say he assured me he would take care of it. So me and my daughter go into the new shoe palace right next to Macys. She finds the shoes at the display priced at $100.00 We go to pay the total comes out to $120.00, I asked why the 20 dollar tax? He said sir sorry these shoes are $110.00. He can't sell the shoes even though they had tagged them at $100. I asked why he said even though he was the acting manager and that he couldn't change the price because the register wouldn't allow him too. I said if I gave you $200.00 for the same shoes would the register allow you too? This review is for Shoe Palace's online store. Purchased a pair of the Nike Cortez's LBC limited edition. They arrived, I was pumped and unfortunately when I opened the box... BAM! One of the shoes had an oil stain on it. Not water, oil. Reached out to customer service and sent them pictures. They said they would send me a return label and refund the money as this was a limited edition and they had no more in stock. Great for the refund but sucks that they have no more in stock. I want the shoes... undamaged ones, not the refund. I asked if they would sell them to me at a discount, cause they obviously can't sell them again... or will they. The CS rep said his manager said no. I then asked, how about a discount on the next pair I buy, this seems reasonable. Radio silence. I know when people buy my product and it's damaged, we replace it no questions asked an no out of stock issues if it means cranking up the manufacturing line for one pair. My next step is to reach out to Nike and see if they can help out. Unless Shoe Palace comes back with a reasonable coupon for my next pair, I can't recommend anyone shopping online with them.
