Great food and great service. It was our first time to visit this restaurant. Wife and I and another couple. First they brought rolls which were very fresh and warm and good. We had the Antipasto salad which was good size. Wife and I shared it. We had Spaghetti Special, Chicken Piccata, and Chicken Aristocrat. It was all very good with large portions. The chicken was tender enough to cut with a fork. The Aristocrat sauce was really good. We all said we will definitely be coming back again. read more

Dont get delivery. I told them the location like 3 times on the phone and the driver still got lost. Plus my order was half wrong. I probably got someone else's food and they got my tortellini. Sadly went here to support the family following a loss due to fire damage. We went for an early dinner hoping to avoid heavy traffic during the Covid pandemic. Upon arrival a man casually greeted us at door and pointed to an empty table in the corner. We were greeted by a young lady and asked if we wanted any drinks. This young lady was not wearing a mask. As I looked around NONE were. There was the same gentleman that greeted us that was but it was not covering his nose or full mouth. No one in the kitchen was wearing masks either. My daughter wanted to leave immediately but I said let me ask and maybe they will put some on. When I asked the waitress (who suddenly was now wearing one) she replied she didn't know. I watched as she went back to the kitchen and brought it up. Some staff put them on but not all. Then customers came in without masks and walked around the restaurant. I think this is in very poor consideration of their customers both elderly and those with compromised immune systems. The food was not outstanding and I just could not get over the lack of following guidelines. Shame on them as a local family restaurant for not protecting themselves and their customers. read more

My favorite place for Pizza. We ordered a large Niki's Special. The base and the dough was what made this place perfect for me. Toppings were still soft with the perfect amount of sauce. Food was decent. The red sauce is a little sweet, but traditional and the pasta was not overcooked. The chicken parm was a good portion size and everything we had for carry out was still nice & hot when we got it home. I didn't enjoy the lasagna. The beef was too finely ground, almost like pate. I prefer a more traditional style with layers of ricotta, mozzarella and ground beef, but would consider trying something else off the menu instead. I came to this place with a few friends. It seems they go there ever so often. They hadn't been back in awhile. Seems the waitress was a little rude last time. And it turned them off the place for a bit. We ended up with the same waitress. But she was really nice. So maybe it was an off day. The food was delicious, maybe a but too much cheese. But one of my friends was eyeing my cheese level with envy. So I guess it all depends on just how much cheese is enough for you. Nearly everyone ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce or meat balls. The menu selections are very reasonably priced and simple but well prepared. I think if someone is looking for high end Italian dining with lots of atmosphere they will be disappointed here. This is a neighborhood bistro with friendly staff and good, basic food. The napkins are paper and the tableware is very basic. Again, I think they hit their mark. We have been going to Niki's for about a decade. It is a wonderful place for a great Italian meal. My daughter's love the white pizza even though it has spinach on it. The lasagna is exactly what you expect but their sauce makes it worthwhile. The salad dressing is my favorite and I usually buy a cup of it on my way out. Niki's is on our circuit of good restaurants to frequent. We love the wait staff, always very attentive and they know what we want when we come in. No need to wait to be seated, just grab a table. I always get the spaghetti special which includes a meat sauce, and sausage. The red sauce used for all entrees is very delicious and gives them their signature taste. The garlic rolls are good too. I have been to Niki's Italian Bistro many times- it's one of my families go to spots after school functions. I honestly do not know how they stay open as I have never been in here when the restaurant was more that 20% full. The service can be a little slow but I can totally overlook that for two reasons- 1. the bread- they bring you baskets of wonderful little garlic rolls that you could sit there and eat dozens of the little suckers without even realizing it. 2. the prices- the cost is awesome! Niki's Italian Bistro is a place I've frequented over the years a handful of times. As mentioned by someone else, I've always wondered how they're still in business as I've never seen the place packed at all, but they serve good food so I hope they're around for many more years. The garlic rolls are great, and they're very reasonably priced on their entrees compared to the other Italian eateries around the area. I will say that given the choice, I would say Venezia's is the superior of the choices, but you can't go wrong with choosing Niki's. As a side note I miss the BBQ spot that used to be here years and years ago, because they had an arcade cabinet with Magical Drop III. lol read more

Went to lunch here today. I had no idea that it was even there. I wasn't disappointed. It was pretty darn tasty. I'll def. go back. I've lived in the area for about 14 yrs and I've never seen Niki's but it was suggested by Annies Bakery (Annie's son actually) to try it out. Good call I have to say. Food was authentic and fresh and flavorful. Ambiance is what you would expect to see at an Italian eatery. So, It wasn't original but that wasn't a bad thing in this case. Came tonight for dinner. Only one waiter for the restaurant but he was fairly prompt and did a good job taking care of us. The food came pretty quickly (a plus for us with 3 kids under 7)! The best part, everything tasted very good. I had the chicken aristocrat - tomato cream with spaghetti and mixed veggies. My wife had the eggplant flortini(sp) - eggplant with red sauce and topped with cheese. The kids had various standard kids' pasta which were fine. Bread was very good also - soft and warm. Excellent family joint in Murphy strip center. Very friendly people and part of our community. I frequent here for takeout at the oddest of times too like 3pm on a Wednesday.
