Great local store! The new owner is doing an awesome job and has really done some great things. They have a great selection of snacks and drinks, alcoholic beverages, kitchen staples and random necessities(tp, feminine products, OTC medicine, toothbrushes, travel supplies) in the convenience store. They also have a kitchen with a great menu- something for everyone. Friendly staff, quiet little neighborhood spot that you're likely to run into the locals hanging out on the front patio chatting. They also recently started offering sliced deli meat and cheeses, and local baked goods. I highly recommend stopping in- and if you haven't been there recently... give it another shot! read more

Found the place just exploring the area as we are working out this way for a couple weeks. Have now eaten several meals here and had great service. Food is good. Atmosphere is what you would expect from an old building that's been a general store since the early 1900's. We have enjoyed it and tried the shakes today and they were great. read more

Hayden Dewitt sold us 4 burnt pizzas. When we brought it to his attention, he didn't try to make us new pizzas or refund us but did tell us to Get the F*** out and never come back! I can't see him being in business for long with his shady ways and having temper tantrums like a 2yr old! read more

The people who work here are amazing and so friendly. Exactly what I expect from a local business. Also, their breakfast burrito (bacon, egg, potato, and cheese) is so great to have in the morning. It's a convenience store and mini grocery store all in one. They have different spices and other random foods you might need in a pinch, and being between Flagstaff and Williams, it's easier to swing through here to see if they have something you need rather than going to a big store miles away. Love this place every time I visit. Great food, wonderful people and now MILKSHAKES!!!! Yea!

We have been residents of Parks for 4 generations now. We have seen many owners of this little store. We have never experienced such disrespect from a person in this community. The owners (male/female) of this business are the rudest, most disrespectful, entitled business owners. We ordered many pizzas from them to feed our family. When we arrived to pick up the pizzas, the female owner gave us an attitude when checking out and threw the receipt in our face. It was 4 hrs till closing time, so it wasn't the end of the day. She never apologized. It seemed as if she was taking her anger out on us from a different situation. When we arrived home, we noticed that all the pizzas were burnt and dry. We called the store to report the issue, but there was no answer. The next day, we took the pizzas back to the business to show them. The male owner was working this day. The male owner gave us an attitude when we showed him the burnt/ dry pizzas and stated, "And what do you expect me to do about this?" We were flabbergasted at his reply. We asked him why he was shouting at us & being so rude. He did this in front of many other customers & residents. He then grabbed the boxes of pizzas & told us "to get the Fuck out & never come back." We could not believe the disrespect we recieved. Coming from generations of service men and women, and from law enforcement, we were disgusted by the service we received. All the customers were in silence at how the owner treated us. read more

Thank God this store is close by. We stayed inside the park. This is the closest thing you're going to fine. Not a whole lot of selection but we were happy to get whatever we could. We ordered a pizza and it was not good. But we were desperate. Very nice people though that work there. read more

Don't let the outside of this place fool you into not eating here. This is a great place to grab a fresh cooked meal. While the food choices fall along the diner type fare, they are prepared, perfectly, made to order. There's limited places to eat inside and out, so if it's crazy busy, I could imagine it being tough to find a spot to eat. We happened to visit on a slow day, so we had no issues for a party of six. I had a jalapeño bacon cheeseburger that was cooked and dressed to perfection. Others had a club sandwich, BLT, hot dog, and Ruben. Fries were fresh and crispy. Tater tots were fresh but could've maybe been a little more crispy. I wasn't aware of any bathroom facilities there, so keep that in mind if looking to wash hands or go before you eat. read more

The family and I were on our way to the Grand Canyon from Scottsdale. We were in the mod for homemade soup. Unfortunately, they did not prepare soup today. As a result, my kids did not want to eat here. So, no reviews about the food. I will note that there is only an outhouse for a restroom break. If you need a modern, clean restroom, stop first at the Texaco/Post Office. I gave only 2 stars due to the outhouse issue. read more

I love to come to this store for a break; the staff is so friendly and I can get most essentials here along with Route 66 gifts and specialty foods. Just as wonderful is the Parks Community Garden and Market across the street. On Saturday they had fresh lettuce, kale, local eggs, food, and wonderful baked goods. We took our peach pie home and were happy to see it was made from fresh fruit, not canned pie filling. Both the store and the market support local philanthropic endeavors, like a food bank and masks, and reflect the compassionate community that also hosts several animal rescue organizations. Don't just blast past on the interstate if you have time to stop and support these local businesses. read more

The epitome of the small town, all-in-one country store. The people there are incredibly friendly! The green chili burrito was excellent. My friend had the Swiss burger and he said it was ridiculously good! Real home cooking in a great historic rural setting where you feel like you're a local within 10 minutes. This place is run on a budget and it shows, the pizza is DIGIORNO crust with jar sauce and for the most part fresh veggies. You can make it cheaper at home and not have to wait 1hr or more. Wings are baked I think since they are like rubber sometimes. Sandwich rolls are based of what they bought so they do change but the price is the same. As for other product it overpriced like any other small store that can't compete. They don't value the building or history since its very much just falling apart and covered in neon beer signs, vinyl signs and beach umbrellas, what are you dollars supporting here? The very friendly local owners make you feel welcome anytime you enter. They have brought a valuable asset to the community, in that you can get various convenience items without having to drive 20 to 30 miles. They have also brought a sense of community to this very small community, by holding various events on the weekends to bring people together. I disagree with the previous poster and would add that I suggest they return to school to study spelling, grammar and possibly food safety before commenting on food safety, or writing a very long post were all the public can see how ignorant they are. I am personally a licensed food safety manager and have observed my food as well as others food being made multiple times in the Park's Deli. I can say I've seen no food safety violations, and I am through there on a daily basis. Now I will say you won't find paper towels for the same price as Walmart or a cheeseburger for the same price as McDonald's, but there is a price to be paid for quality when it comes to food and convenience when it comes to roll of paper towels. In a pinch when you need a roll of paper towels, you'll pay an extra dollar instead of paying $20 to drive into town to get a role for $.99. The previous poster did have one thing right the vegetables on the pizza are fresh I find the crust delightful and the pizza as a whole to be better than anything you can get delivered from a chain in Flagstaff. I personally love their sandwiches as well and I find their Philly Cheesesteak, that comes covered in fresh veggies, to be the best I have ever had. In closing I recommend the Park's Deli and Store for food and convenience items and feel that the previous poster is just a cynic better served by food grown in a laboratory, shrink-wrapped, frozen and shipped by truck to your nearest retailer. If you like to sit outside and wave at the locals driving by (because they give you a honk first to say "hello"), this is a great chill and smell the roses place! We love the food! My husband regularly gets the big hebrew hotdog (his favorite) and I get a grilled cheese made to order the way I like it. We've had the pizza and hamburgers. It's all good!
