Honestly REALLY REALLY good. We ordered kind of on a whim and definitely will again. I will say it's always a bit of a shell shock when you order two large pizzas and it's $60. They were specialty pizzas(Buffalo chicken & barbecue chicken) so I understand a higher price but prices have just gotten crazy everywhere you shop/eat. We also just wanted a few ranches and we had to pay $3 for 4 tiny ranches which is slightly steep especially when you are already paying almost $30 per pizza. Took a quick family trip to Flag and after some snow time and exploring we were hungry. The kids and hubs wanted pizza so Yelp search it was to find us dinner. NiMarcos had great reviews and was close by us. It's easy to find from the road and plenty of parking. Walking in there is a giant wall menu to look at. We decided on Spicy Chipotle BBQ wings and the Gary's special pizza which has Pepperoni, sausage, onion, mushroom, bell pepper and olives. We walked up to the register and put our order in. We were given our table number and plates. We found a cozy booth in the corner and waited patiently for our pie. Our wings were brought out fresh and sizzling hot served with celery carrots and ranch. The wings had a lot of meat on them and the most delicious somewhat spicy BBQ. Everyone loved the wings, especially the kids. About 5 minutes after the wings came out the pizza was ready. It was steaming hot and delicious looking. The crust was crispy on the bottom and they were generous on the toppings. The crust wasn't too thin or too thick. I'm not sure if we were all just hungry and wanting a hot meal after the snow but that pizza was SO good lol. We got a large and it was huge. We still took home like 6 pieces and had leftovers. After a visit to the Grand Canyon, the family and I were headed back to the hotel and was craving pizza. We fired up Yelp and found Nimarcos pizza which looks like it fits the bill. Another bonus was that it was on the way back to the hotel. We browse the menu and the meat lovers caught my eye. When the menu states that it's every carnivore's dream you have to give it a try. So with the order decided My girlfriend went online and ordered a meat lovers pizza with a side of calamari. 20 mins later we arrived at the restaurant where we found dedicated pickup spots in front of the door. We parked the car, gave them a call and 3 minutes later they came out with the hot pie along with the side, plates and utensils. When we got back to the hotel we dug in. The pizza was perfect. They didn't skimp on the toppings and the cheese to sauce to crust ratio was perfect. You can tell they they don't mess around and try to fill you up with extra dough. I'm sure if we are at the restaurant that the crust would have a slight crunch but in COVID time this is as good as it gets. The calamari was also good. The breading was not oily and the squid was tender and not rubbery. They didn't have wine but we had one on our trip that we opened up. Found a pebble about a 1/4" in size in our takeout pizza. Called the restaurant to give them a heads up. Surprisingly instead of offering an apology, the Manager proceeded to keep insisting it was "residue" from their ovens. I repeated to him several times that it is not "residue" and even offered to take the time to drive back to NiMarco's to show him so that his staff can be aware in case it is stone debris from their ovens (if they are using stone/brick ovens). Besides not listening to me nor taking responsibility and appreciating the fact that we took the time to alert the restaurant, he did not offer any comp or discount until I asked at which point he begrudgingly refunded 20% off the pizza (not our total order which included appetizers). I understand Flag businesses are heavily patronized by tourists and they could care less about losing a customer, but they shouldn't forget that there are locals like ourselves who deserve respectable customer service and who provide long term business to the establishment.
