Dr. Ghitea treats his clients like family, not a dollar sign. He always asks how I'm doing as the owner and is so gentle and kind with my pets. His bedside manner is so approachable and Dr. Ghitea speaks to you in a way you can digest and understand. I've had several procedures done for my pets at this clinic and communication during the procedures and postop is always top tier. The prices at the clinic are beyond fair - I've recommended family and friends to his practice. The team responds to triage emails and send notes to the doctor if you call in. I feel so cared for at this clinic and my pets are so comfortable with Dr. Ghitea and his team. Special shoutout to the manager Courtney - she is always so eager to help me out and makes me feel at ease any time I talk with her.

When I returned today for the ashes, again I met kind Justin at the front who left what he was doing to get the ashes for me. We are so grateful. They made a difficult situation so much better by their kindness and gentleness with Monk and with us.

Well I got into a car accident and was waiting for a tow truck, and while I'm trying to figure out who will pick up my daughter from daycare they call me to tell me I'm late. I had planned on calling them but my daughter and tow truck came first. I explained to the receptionist what happened and she told me I would need another deposit to reschedule. Meaning, I am out the first deposit. To me it feels like they are not in the business of their community as they cared more about their deposit than keeping a customer. The $90 was not that big of a deal, but the lack of compassion made me turned off from establishing care at this location.

Our ten year old orange tabby, Murray, needed to have a "cough" checked out. He was fine otherwise. They did a complete exam, took some blood, checked his BP and prescribed a steroid he needed to take for two weeks. I was able to get the pills down him for three days but he wasn't having any of it after the third day so I stopped. He's perfectly fine now and has no cough at all. I still need to take him back in for a urine analysis and will do so in the new year. The office and exam rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff and doctors are so empathetic and caring. You can still buy special diet foods and treats while you're there. The dogs and cats are kept separate which makes for a stress free visit. I highly recommend VCA Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital for all your furbabies's needs.

After hearing about Murray Hill Vet at Dogtober Fest and being strongly recommended by a Dove Lewis representative, I knew it was time for a change. When my other vet canceled my dog's surgery, I contacted Murray Hill and was amazed that they were able to schedule my fur baby for the same day, and ethen called the following day to say their was cancellation in surgery. My dog used to have leash aggression, and this was only the third public place we've taken her since working with a trainer. The staff at Murray Hill Vet were so gracious and wonderful that my dog was on her best behavior the entire time. It's clear that they treat their staff well, as everyone seemed genuinely to love animals and took great care of every patient.

From the VERY first phone call, to make an appointment for Miles for an annual check-up, and his vaccinations, to bringing him in the entire staff I interacted with has been wonderful. Karen is the front of house, office manager and does all the administration. She advised me that they do require a $75 deposit, which is non-refundable, but applied to your visit. She answered all of my questions and took all of our information. When I arrived for our appointment, we were taken in right on time (they came and got Miles from the car,) and within a few minutes Dr. Kristin Trerise called me to let me know all about Miles health and we spoke and together came up with a plan. I felt like she included me and discussed his health and moving forward, his future treatments, as he needs his teef cleaned since they are a bit icky!!! From parking to receiving my puppy back, we were in and out in about 35 minutes. I love the on time, punctual staff because my time is important as is theirs. I really liked the staff, felt like we had good communication and appreciated the punctuality. I haven't experienced all three of these at a vet for my dog yet! So I hope we are FINALLY done searching as I really like Willowbrook. The ONLY reason I can't give 5 stars YET is because I'd like to be able to go in with my boy and meet everyone. Maybe next year!

He has been helping my dog with a severe lick granuloma, and what could have been a very stressful situation has been made so much easier thanks to his kindness. Every step of the way, he has been patient, thorough, and offered multiple options so I could make the best choices for my dog. These folks here showed me real compassion. Starting with the receptionist, Karon who saw us to a spacious room with comfortable chairs right away. Next, the vet tech who was warm and friendly put me at my ease when she showed genuine affection for my little Mimosa during the exam. Her entire demeanor was loving. Unfortunately because it is an emergency hospital and my baby was deemed stable, I was told that the vet probably wouldn't be able to examine her for about 6-8 hours. As it was already 5:30PM I would have to leave her overnight. But I was assured there would be no hospitalization fee. Quite unlike Dove Lewis' antics. These people put pets and people first. Mimosa was in a large crate with a bed, blanket, litter box, food and water. I feel quite calm feeling I was leaving her in capable and caring hands. The next morning the vet called me and told me all they had done for her and that she has shown signs of improvement. Fever down, she was eating and drinking for the first time in days. They were going to send her home to me. Unlike Dove Lewis, they gave me a diagnosis of acute pancreatitis which they predicted would improve. They gave me an appetite stimulant to apply topically. Unlike Dove Lewis' estimate of $4300 my bill came to $308 and they didn't even charge me for the ultrasound. Additionally, unlike Dove Lewis, they didn't demand payment as I dropped her off for the night. They allowed me to settle my account when I picked her up with dignity. If they weren't so far away from me they would become my regular vet. I'm still astonished at the vast difference in every aspect of the way me and Mimosa were treated between the two clinics. This clinic is a family run business and I hope you will take your business and your fur babies to them. 2026 - Review # 15

We searched online and found that Emergency Vet of Tualatin was open 24 hours. We took her there and all the staff were warm and welcoming during this stressful time. They were able to get her in to see a vet right away. We appreciate the speediness of their efforts. Unfortunately it was determined the our dog had a stroke and lost almost all mobility in her hind legs. This was a very difficult decision to make and the vet was patient and kind during the whole interaction. We chose a private cremation and paw print. When we saw the beautiful wooden box her ashes were put in it made a somber moment a little easier. I called to mention that we wanted her collar with her name tag to keep. They were able to track it down and made sure we got it. The paw print was done well and the quality was great. It was thoughtful of the clinic to send us a card as well about their condolences.

I, unfortunately, have recently had to put my 2 oldest cats down. These things, of course, happen…read moreover the weekends, etc., when my regular vet is not available. I found the entire staff very supportive and helpful. In both cases, there really wasn't anything to be done, both cats were elderly and sick, and I knew I was bringing them in for the last time. I really appreciated the staff and the vet's care, one cat had end stage renal disease, and the vet was very informative and caring about what his labs meant, etc. They have a very nice room set aside for those who are saying goodbye to their pets. I realize my experience doesn't have anything to do with acute problems in younger animals that may need surgery, etc., but I was impressed with the compassion and with the speed in which they took care of both of my cats when we were experiencing end of life choices.

The place is calm and inviting. We have always been shown to a private room to meet with staff and able to wait there or in the waiting room. The doctors demonstrated high competency and were able to easily lay out our options for treatment so we could decide what we would like to do for our pet. Highly recommend without reservation.
