Work done was just ok. I paid about $80 including tip for pedicure shellac and simple manicure cleaning. The owner and another worker always speak in Vietnamese which makes some customers uncomfortable; I sensed that these people are talking about the customers sometimes in a funny way, sometimes disgusting and malicious way... Tai (aka Tony) is my nail guy! Tai has been doing my shellac manicures every two weeks for nearly two years. He is VERY detailed and careful. Takes off shellac without damaging my real nails. At some point or another each of the other staff members have taken care of my nails when Tai wasn't available and the entire staff is super friendly and accommodating to whatever you like. Best nail salon in the area!!! I was in town visiting family and wanted to treat my mom to a mani. After reading reviews we decided on Nina's and booked an appointment, which I highly encourage you to do as they get busy. The staff is very friendly and do an excellent job of cleaning up those nasty cuticles. One thing I noticed that's different from other nail salons I've gone to is after they lotion and massage your hands thy ask you to wash your hands at their sink. I didn't find this weird but kind of nice so your polish can go on fresh clean hands. I'll definitely return here when I'm back in town and recommend it to family in the area. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to this place. I used to go here every two weeks for a shellac manicure. Life got a little busy for awhile so I stopped getting my nails done or would occasionally get them done elsewhere (only because I sometimes need a Sunday appt or because I wait until I'm desperate and they can get busy!). I cannot tell you how much I regret it every time I go somewhere else - peeling shellac, chips at the top, etc. I have never had a bad manicure at Nina's. The only reason I ever need a new one is because my nails grow out. Besides being excellent at what they do, the same group of girls has been there for years and they make you feel like family when you walk in. They are all so friendly. I called at 6:00pm to see if they could take me for an acrylic nail removal and new set, and they did no problem! Lao (not sure if this is how you spell it) did my removal painlessly!! Then he said if I was game did I want to try a new technique. Being someone who gets her nails done frequently I said sure why not! He proceeded to do what would consider a very high quality Solar Acrylic set! He managed to keep the "C" curve of the nail making it look very natural. I needed a last-minute eyebrow wax on the day of my sister-in-law's wedding, and this salon was very accommodating. The end result looked good- there was some redness/bumpiness after but I think that is more my skin's normal reaction to waxing than anything on the salon's part. First of all, Look like they have used the old nail kit on me, they always claim that they provided us new nail kits, but I noticed that they used the old file on me. The file still had a color stick on the side of it. Second, this place is overprice !! Third, I noticed that the owner here don't accept the fact that they being given less stars. The majority of my experiences have been extremely positive and even the few times my nails we're not done well (shellac coming off within hours or nails breaking the same day) they were repaired at no charge at my convienience. I have been getting gel manicures for a couple of years, this was by far the best gels I have ever had! I type this review with my unchipped gel polish from a manicure I got 17 days ago! My wife had a terrible experience with this saloon, This Salon has no respect to appointments, first they rush you in choosing a manicure, and then they let 2 people go before you with no respect to the appointment they made with her. And they had the nerve to ask her to wait for them to finish first for her to do her nails, even though she had an appointment and she came earlier than her appointment to have enough time to choose her manicure. I wouldn't recommend this saloon to anyone, and I don't know why they have full stars when both experiences my wife had with this saloon sucked. If there was a possibility to give them zero stars , I will. Replaying to Thi, Hello Thi, first of all, my wife's appointment was from 2:15 to 2:30 as per the phone conversation she had with whomever was taking appointments, she didn't rush in choosing a manicure because she thought she had enough time since she came in early. After she got "annoyed" with your employee asking her " did you choose a color yet" which is one way of rushing a customer in hurrying up and finish, she finally choose one and was asked to wait on the chair with no explanation to why is the wait. After waiting a couple of minutes, she got into an argument with one of your employees, and they told her to wait until one is available to help her. And when she said she was leaving, there was no apologizing for the inconvenience. The only word she heard was "OK", which looks like your employees don't care about your customers. She sent me an angry text on 2:26 which was the time she left the place, which tells me that she didn't take that much time to choose a manicure. And even if she did take long, it was within her appointment time frame that was given by your employee. An apology from your employee at that time would've been acceptable, however, it doesn't mean anything to me now since my wife had already gotten angry, and hated your place and your employees. read more
