    Taco al carbon
    Fallon L.

Came here after leaving the airport and thought I'd try this well known chain. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For starters, no long wait, quickly greeted & seated, and might I add I love how festive the decorations were! Definitely felt the holiday presence here[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Our waitress was very attentive and patient with us as we took some time trying to decide exactly what we wanted to eat- lots of options to choose from. Plus, we came in right on time for Happy Hour which was a win win. We ordered the taco al carbon beef fajitas, which came with your choice of beans and rice. The charro beans were selected and quite flavorful. My son got the chicken ranchera and both were huge portions. My husband and split the tacos al carbon. For drinks we got the blue Hawaiian and multiple flavors of their margaritas- ALL on point. Overall service was spectacular and a chill vibe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you have kiddos (or not) there's also a mini arcade and bubble gum machine nearby.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely stop by if you're ever in the area.

The fajitas were amazing. The chicken and shrimp were chefs kiss delicious. The chips and guacamole were 5/5. The waiter was really good with providing food recommendations.

This is my favorite Ninfa's location. I think the food is 100% better than the original location. Also, like the others, they do make fresh homemade tortillas. Some of my favorites include: Fajitas Carnitas Tacos Musicos Caldo Xochitl Always great service. Very friendly and very fast! Great stop for lunch/dinner if you just flew into Hobby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor inside gives you that Mexican restaurant vibe. Warm feeling. Feels like the real deal![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This location far exceeded my expectations!! Our server was incredibly hospitable (Jose) as was the rest of the staff throughout our experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of parking, indoor & outdoor seating available, & a wide range of menu options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was delicious and tasted fresh. Would def return & recommend to a friend!

If you're looking for amazing margaritas and delicious Mexican food, this is the spot! The happy hour is a huge bonus, and the chips and salsa are next-level (plus, they're included with any drink or meal). Be sure to tip generously--this team absolutely deserves it!

I must say that the fajita meet is like fall off the rib brisket.. it's indescribable as u can see by my description!! drinks were average and service was 2 of 5 stars .. sat at the bar .. wanted a piece of tres leches but she never came back .. anyway .. i would come back for the meat .. which is rare for me

Arrived around 7pm. Seated in a booth right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Felt something splashing my arm, and realized it was the air conditioning vent dripping onto the table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Asked to be moved, waitress apologized and said she had forgotten about that issue. She brought out chips and salsa and I ordered a beer and beef fajitas with charro beans. Food was decent. Steak was tender and cooked well. The rice was bland. Steak was sitting on a bed of onions, no peppers. Charro beans were good. Overall average experience.

Nuevo Leon for 2 (served with tortillas, rice, beans, guac, sour cream, pico de gallo, cheese) - $51.95
    Jennifer H.

My bf and I got the Nuevo Leon for 2 ($51.95). This included baby back ribs, beef and chicken fajita, and jalapeño sausage that are served with tortillas, rice, beans, guac, sour cream, pico de gallo, and cheese. The baby back ribs had some very tender pieces, but some not so tender pieces. There was lots of meat on the ribs. The chicken was quite dry. The beef was overall pretty tender. The sausage was tasty, but super greasy. The corn tortillas were delicious and fresh and definitely tasted homemade. The meal was overall enjoyable and very filling. Service was great as they checked in like 3 times on us.

    Strawberry margaritas

First let me say that Mercedes my server was Amazing. She anticipated my needs. Did the right amount of upselling without pressuring me. And made me feel like I was a personal guest of hers. I had the strawberry margarita and enchiladas del mar. How have I slept on Ninfa's for this long. Food was Delicious!!! Portion generous. The grilled veggies were seasoned by the gods themselves. I will definitely come back here again. And, you should too!

Delicious fajitas and margaritas! The charro beans were my favorite thing. We were in a large group for work and the service was quick and great as well.

I ordered the soft tacos. One with chicken was really good. The shredded and fajita beef isn't flavored or seasoned. Other than that the pieces are good and the service is too.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty busy, especially during Saturday lunch. There is also plenty of parking available across the street. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and felt so authentic to Mexican culture. Our server, Kylah, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and so kind throughout our entire dining experience. Now onto the food; everything was absolutely delicious. The Avocado Mollete and Chilaquiles Divorciados were both packed with so much flavor. Every bite was amazing. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. The experience started poorly with the valet attendants, whom we found to be rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. It was such an unpleasant first impression that my wife and I mentioned it to the hostess when we went inside. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The hostess seemed completely unconcerned about our experience and simply informed us that the wait for a table was approximately two hours. While deciding whether our party should wait or go elsewhere, I went to the bar to order a drink. After ordering, the bartender told me that if I was only having a drink, I needed to move. Apparently, sitting at the bar required ordering a meal. At that point, we had experienced enough. Between the unpleasant valet experience, the indifferent response at the hostess stand, the two-hour wait, and then being told I couldn't sit at the bar simply to have a drink while we decided what to do, the overall message was clear: we did not feel welcome here. My wife, the rest of our party, and I decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. A busy restaurant is understandable. A long wait is understandable. What is much harder to understand is making prospective customers feel unwelcome at nearly every point of contact. Needless to say, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
