She didn't take long to come over to the table with menus and asked us what we wanted to drink. I stuck to my usual lemon water, while my mom got Pepsi (they have Pepsi products here). Since my mom just had the cataract surgery, it was hard for her to read the menu, so I helped her look at making a decision. It took us a little while after the drinks came out to choose, as there were lots of great items on the menu to choose from. After having some time to look over the menu, I decided to go with the French Toast Combo with Scrambled Eggs and Bacon. My mom decided to go with the Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries. After about ten minutes or so, the food came out to the table and looked really good. The French Toast was nice and fluffy, as well as hot. I don't use syrup on it, so butter worked just fine. The eggs and bacon were hot and good too. My mom really liked that Stuffed French Toast with Strawberries. The meals were definitely fulfilling. Overall, the food and service were great here. It was nice to have a place that feels and looks like a diner. Even though this place is quite a ways from where I live, I would definitely come back to try other foods on the menu, and maybe even the buffet some weekend. If you are in this area of Norfolk, this is a great place to go for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

My hash browns were too salty. And the Benedict I got was in particularly good or bad. Really not much flavor at all. I do think I made a mistake by ordering any kind of eggs Benedict there. Bet if I got a burger or an omelette it probably would be really good! So I would say give this place the shot but definitely do not get any kind of egg Benedict!
