I called first thing in the morning and Seth showed up about an hour after my call. He diagnosed the problem and tracked down my motor from one of their multiple supply houses. After advising me that either he or another tech would be back before the end of the day to replace the motor, the handoff was to Anthony who arrived to my house much earlier than expected. There wasn't a better feeling than hearing Anthony call in advance and say, "I just finished a call early so figured I would come by and get your heat back" after sitting in a 50 degree house for a few hours. These guys have a professional attitude. They're personable, knowledgeable and take care of your home...they arrive with plastic booties and make sure the clean up meets your expectations. They double and triple check their work. The pricing was better than another company I used in the past. I also have to give credit to Maureen and Pat who initially fielded my calls and did their best to make sure to send someone out during what seemed to be a busy Monday morning for them. Immediately after the service, my 4-year-old PTAC started making noise and the thermostat stopped working properly. I called them back, and they sent a tech who insisted nothing was wrong--clearly to avoid holding the first tech accountable. I then hired another company, who found a leak and confirmed the unit was losing freon. When I confronted YuHan, she claimed it was "impossible" their first technician caused the problem and that their company "never makes mistakes." That's hard to believe when they couldn't even clean a filter. She asked me to send pictures and receipts, but it's pointless--she'll just deny responsibility no matter the evidence. She basically said I am lying. I attached a picture, this was AFTER the "cleaning". You can see the line thats leaking. The rep went as far as saying I am taking pictures of a third unit they never serviced, as if I am trying to scam them for a machine that wasn't working. Its ridiculous There are far better companies out there, and I can recommend a few. My advice: stay far away from these guys.

What is the point of being in a Service industry if your first line of service - communication - is so atrocious? I remember when Brett told me that it's hard to get back to customers in time because he had no receptionist back then and I had given you every benefit of the doubt. Now with an 800 number, multiple technicians, and a receptionist(s), what is the excuse now? And what is the point of receptionist if all they do is to tell me that "they left a message with the technicians, there's nothing more they can do"? I called last Saturday and spoke to a young lady who told me (when I asked her to look up my information) that she "has no access to any information (due to working from a different location a la COVID-19) and that all she can do is to leave a message with one of the technicians" Okay, understandable as long as someone calls back, I thought. Then on Monday an older lady did call back saying they got someone nearby and are trying to work something out so I happily told her to have the guy call me first so I can arrange with the tenant. No calls. I called again on Tuesday and Briana picked up (I think the same lady from Saturday) and I told her my frustration. She just said she can leave a message with them again. There was no apology, no 'Oh I see you called last week, we'll make sure to get back to you this time', no follow up, nothing. And of course, I didn't hear a squeak back from them. So now it's Thursday and I feel foolish for having tried to give Paramus Plumbing a chance to repair their own job. I understand it's AC season and everyone might be busy running around. But what is the point of voicemails and receptionists if you simply cannot be reached or even bother calling back if you're too busy? If they're busy with "big commercial jobs" like Brett told me about back then, then perhaps switch strategy and exit the residential business altogether. The new law is both must match. To make a long story short, there was no way I was ripping out a practically new air handler.
