First time going to Chicago and I didn't want to take a shuttle. There were 3of us so why not a car service. I was so impressed. Reservation was quick and easy. Price was only $20 more than the shuttle. What impressed me most was the communication. My plane landed and I turned my phone and there was a text with step by step instructions from baggage claim to where we would be picked up. It was effortless. Neil was nice, loaded luggage, car was clean. He was a great driver. Our return trip was just as easy. Text night before with pickup instructions. Arrived on time. Its was just great. I cannot say enough about NM car service. Their service is prompt, courteous and easy to coordinate. I asked for their help with a rather odd request. My son and I were in town for only one day and my son really wanted to see a particular site related to his favorite movie, Transformers. Neil picked us up at the airport at 6am on a Saturday, after he patiently texted me to identify a convenient location for pickup. He then drove us into the city to the location my son wanted to see. He then spent an additional 30 minutes or so driving us around so my son could see a few other sites related to that and the movies, and then he went back to the original site to make sure my son got to see it in the sunlight (it was little dark on the first pass). They confirm when they are on the way and I felt very comfortable with the ride as well - no scary speeds or weaving like other taxi services do. Great service for a great price! I spent a good hour or so looking for an airport ride from Forest Park, IL (where my Airbnb was located). I ran into a lot of problems, including services not available in that area of Chicago or my time was inconvenient for the usual companies I use. My flight was at 5:30am and so I needed to be at the airport before 4am. I ran into NM's yelp page from a google search and decided to give it a go. The reviews seemed great but I was a little hesitant because the mode of communication would be via text. I had no other options but it worked out in the end because NM Private Car Service is fantastic! Neil picked me up and was 10 minutes early (you never get that with car services!), he had bottles of water if you were thirsty and you felt safe driving in the really nice and clean van. Neil was prompt (at the house 10 minutes ahead of departure) and very polite. I appreciate that his vehicle was clean and in great condition. This isn't always the case with some services. I have nothing but great things to say! I coordinated transportation to and from the airport because my husband and I were traveling for the first time with our newborn. As you can imagine, this was very stressful for us and Neil made it a breeze! The scheduling and communication prior was easy. Neil contacted us the day before each pickup to confirm and was on time both times- we had a 4:30 a.m. pickup on our flight out too. Tip is included so there are no hidden fees- just the rate quoted from the beginning. His rates were also much more reasonable than other companies that I reached out to. Neil parked at the airport and met us at baggage claim to assist with luggage. It was so nice to have a set of extra hands with all the baby stuff we had! He also paid for parking ($7.00) out of his own pocket- he truly went above and beyond! We ended up giving him more tip for the extra level of service and also to help cover parking. As first time customers, we gave Neil and his crew challenges. No mere airport trip, we booked a last minute pickup at our hotel for 7:30 am to make an hour drive to a courthouse about 45 minutes away. Not wanting to be stranded, on pickup I knew I needed to either ask for the driver to wait 45 minutes or book another pickup. Quick easy negotiations, our driver stayed and we were back to our hotel on time. Fast, easy and we loved our driver who played everything from Beethoven to Frank Sinatra to keep things from getting boring on the long rides. Terrible experience. I paid for round trip from O"Hare Chicago airport to BurrRidge. The ride from the airport home was fine but I later found out that First the charged me extra for pick up at a late hour (this was never mentioned in the contact). Since I did not have a working US phone and they could not text me upon arrival I had to pay an extra 25 for the driver to wait at the gate exit with an announcement with my name, "meet me service". I guess thats Ok In all the airport to home trip cost me cmore than 100 when the original deal was for 79. I called the next worning and found out that they overcharged me for something I was never able to understand. After me complaint they did end up refunding 25. Neil Martinez was very helpfull. The return trip was when the real trouble started. They were supposed to pick me up at 6 AM to get to the airport by 7 AM. They never showed up for my return but had charged my card in advance for the full amount. That morning when I called the number they listed as my driver the answering machine said it was for some type of educational servies office and no one answered. I waited for 45 minutes an eventually had to get a family member to take me as it was too late to try anything else. Almost lost my flight if it was not for web check in. It costs me 25 dolloars just to get the credit card to invetigate the incident and put a stop payment. Very complicated as the charge had been for round trip and we had to show documents to prove the partial return fare which was not on the credit card statement which was complicated with all the other extra harges and refunds. I contacted the car company and they aswered that they did go to pick and waited ??. This is a lie, I contacted them again and they ignored my subsequent mails. I will never use them again I am telling my friends and relative (all frequent raveler to the area) about my experience. Luis P. read more

Best shuttle service I've used. Never been to Chicago and had to take my family there for my daughter's tournament. Used YELP to get a ride to and from the airport. Neil was our driver.
