    Spring roll
    Kel G.

Order: grilled pork chop, crispy chicken, green papaya salad and spring rolls. Grilled pork was served on broken rice with tomatoes, cucumber and pickled carrots and daikon and a side of fish sauce. Crispy chicken was fried chicken filet served on top of broken rice and side of tomatoes, cucumbers, pickled carrots and daikon and fish sauce. Spring rolls were shrimp, lettuce, vermicelli noodles, mint/basil, and bean sprouts wrapped in rice paper served with a peanut sauce. Last the green papaya salad is shredded papaya tossed in a special soy sauce with basil on a lettuce bed and topped with sliced shrimp. Everything except the pork chops were on the appetizer section. The chicken definitely was not an appetizer size; it was basically an entree. My favorite is probably the papaya salad. Vietnamese papaya salad is tossed in a soy sauce concoction instead of fish sauce like Thai and Laos papaya salads. It has a more refreshing taste. Items I wish I had tried, the banh beo and banh cuon (rice rolls). Hope to return one day to explore more of the menu. Side note: they have a 10% discount for Yelp check in's but they DO NOT honor it because they said it's "expired." I would recommend updating Yelp to reflect this or honor it for guests who present with the coupon.

The food is consistently excellent. Timely service with great recommendations. A clean and upbeat environment. Easy place for a conversation and great food.

Staff was very friendly as soon as you walked in place looked very clean I ordered Vietnamese iced coffee. That was really good! We ordered the beef pho. that was average I wasn't particularly fond of the noodles that they used. I ordered the combination fried rice. I thought that was good but they put a lot of meat in it and not as much rice. I wish that they would've added a little more rice. We also ordered pork and beef bahn mi. I thought both were good. The bread on the outside was just a little hard but other than that I thought that it was good! For the price I thought they could give you more overall I would rate this three stars.

I forgot to take pictures of the rest of our meal. But the one I took is the papaya salad. It's the Vietnamese version so the sauce was different with shrimp on top. My husband enjoyed it more than the Thai/Lao versions. He said it was refreshing and the flavor wasn't overpowering like the others. I also enjoyed it but I like both versions! He had the grilled pork Bahn mi! He said it was a great sandwich and a nicely toasted bun. I got the Bun with the grilled pork and spring rolls. To my surprise my spring rolls were still crunchy by the time I got to eat it. I've got a 7 month old that ate first lol! Seems they are fried in a cornstarch slurry and fried! I loved it because I don't like soggy spring rolls in my noodles so it was a nice surprise! My daughter had the pork fried rice. Perfect for kids who don't like veggies. Only egg and green onions in it. Plenty of parking around! Nice ambiance with painted pictures all around. Friendly staff and good service!

Food for us as Vietnamese foodies, solid 3 stars. We ordered 2 broken rice dishes. They had broken rice which is great because some place offers just regular jasmin rice in place when it's supposed to be broken rice. However the traditional flavor isn't quite there yet. We ordered the dry hu tiêu Mỹ tho for my son and it came out okay as well. Not bad but not traditionally done. Over all, not bad but not the best Vietnamese food we have had. Why I said food is a solid 3 stars but I gave 4 stars? The service was very good. Our server was a young white fella. Super polite and nice and attentive. Service is everything!! He spilled something, totally not his fault.. the corner of the dish broke off as he was holding it.. and he quickly apologized and cleaned up and replaced the dish immediately. Very professional the whole time we are there to us and ALL other customers.

The spring rolls were very fresh and reminded me of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant from Oahu, Hawaii. The waiting staff was kind and brought out our food in a timely manner. I ordered the #1 which is basically a traditional combination pho. I failed to take a picture of the pho, but my completely clean bowl should tell you all you need to know. The beef broth was incredibly savory and tasted exactly the way all pho lovers crave. Good noodles, soft with a nice bite. The meats were all cooked well and the soft tendon was particularly delicious. If you're looking for a huge bowl of Pho, this is definitely not your place. What the restaurant lacks for in serving size it makes up for in its taste. Highly recommend to anyone craving some good Vietnamese cuisine.

    48. Banh Mi Ca Ri Ga. Lots of chicken. Got a side of rice with it too.

We have eaten hear a number of times and it is always good. It was crowded and the service was friendly and fast although once the food was served it was hard to get our waiter's attention because it was busy. My son got the summer rolls to start and the chicken curry. The waiter pointed out it was also listed as an appetizer with baguettes that you can dip in the sauce. It is a cheaper price and the same amount. He also said you could get a side of rice and get more food. My son loves carbs so that is what he did. That was the first time he got the curry and it was the best thing we ordered. A little too spicy for him but very flavorful. We brought it home as there was a lot with tons of big chunks of chicken. I got the shrimp bun and hubby got the shrimp com. They were good.

No. 1 Pho is my family's go-to place for good Vietnamese food. Their peanut sauce is how we know it's the real thing. I give 4 stars since service can be hit-or-miss. Some days it's prompt, on other days it takes a while. My latest visit was with three longtime friends. We split fresh and fried spring rolls and each got a hearty bowl of pho. The bowls come with veggies on the side. Add as much or as little as you like. My favorite drink is their boba tea. Think a slushy with boba balls at the bottom. Sweet and savory. I recommend drinking water afterward so the sugary aftertaste doesn't linger and threaten your teeth.

    45. Banh Beo. Steamed rice cakes with fried onion, green onion and dried shrimp powder served with nuoc cham for dipping.

This isn't a fancy place but they serve good pho. Service was a bit spotty but with these times, it's understandable. The broth is the differentiating factor in pho & the broth here is very well made. Have been to other places where the broth is ladened with msg...not so here. We tried a few other offerings & they were equally good. The only word of caution is unless you like your door excruciatingly spicy hot, don't order the Bun Bo Hue. It's one of my usual favorites but this was so spicy that I didn't enjoy it at all. **Note to other Yelpers who check-in, they do not accept the check-in discount.

This Asian restaurant in the Whole Foods/La Farm shopping on 55 has a relaxing atmosphere and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Many people who try it become regulars. The food is always good. Wish I could remember the Vietnamese names of the great dishes we've had. Actually the crepe which my best friend gets all the time is called Banh Xeo. Many of the dishes come with an abundance of fresh herbs and vegetables.

    Almost gone!!

Chicken banh mi was absolutely delicious! Fresh soft bread, pickled veggies were perfect. Service was also great!

It photographs beautifully. Unfortunately, restaurants aren't judged on lighting. We ordered everything upfront: Banh Xeo (explicitly no shrimp due to a shellfish allergy), Cha Gio, Pho Tai, and the Chef Special. Somehow, not everything was entered correctly. The Banh Xeo arrived covered in shrimp. Allergy clearly stated. It was sent back immediately. We were told they could remake it, but it would "take a while because it takes a long time to make." Banh Xeo takes under 10 minutes in a properly run kitchen. We declined and assumed the rest of our meal would arrive promptly. It didn't. The egg rolls weren't just fried, they were fully baptized in oil. One bite and it felt like chewing on a sponge that lost a fight with the fryer. Then we watched tables seated at least 15 minutes after us receive their food before we did. When we asked about the remainder of our order, we were told it had "just been added" and would take a while. Pho taking 35+ minutes in a Vietnamese restaurant isn't high volume. It's disorganization. The Chef Special was decent. The pho, which should be the backbone of the menu, was underwhelming. Several tables around us had incorrect orders or long delays. The owner circulated, but instead of urgency or accountability, the energy felt inconvenienced. Here's the reality: great atmosphere can draw people in once. Food and leadership bring them back. If you're going because it looks trendy and buzzing, go in with eyes open. The aesthetic might be the star of the room, but the food should be.

Noodle Blvd is located in a spot that you could easily miss, but it's easy to get back on track. I pulled into the gas station parking lot beside the restaurant, then just turned right into the restaurant parking lot. The parking lot is fairly small, so be warned about that. My friend was there when I arrived, and he sat at the bar. When I walked in the door, I was greeted with smiles and waves. It was very inviting, which is fitting for a ramen restaurant. My friend ordered us Lychee Margaritas, and oh my goodness, it was so good! We decided to visit right at opening on a Saturday, so the bartender was still preparing some of the ingredients needed for the margarita. The bartender informed us that it's usually better once a key ingredient sits for a while, but I loved the drink regardless. I ordered edamame for an appetizer, which came quickly and was good! Since I've never had ramen before, I asked our server what he recommended, and he told me about some of their most popular dishes. He told me the N9. Chicken Curry Ramen was a favorite of his and the patrons, so I decided to order that. It came quickly, and I was immediately in HEAVEN upon my first bite. I loved every bite after! I decided to play it safe with the spice and got level 2, but I can definitely go up a level or 2 since I love spicy. Highly recommend, and I will be back! The short rib ramen was good, but the noodles were short, like they were cut or made short on purpose. The shrimp shumai was disappointing. Small bite sized portions, but they were soft. After cutting into one, I found out that they use rice as a filler with a bit of shrimp. I've never seen rice used in shumai, unless it's Shanghai sticky rice shumai. Also got a unagi don togo, it was good, just a bit small on the portion of eel, but it's hard to mess up an unagi don.

We were seated right away, the server was super fun and friendly. There are for sure regulars that come here. The server knew a lot of people by name, for pick up orders and sitting inside. The Pho is for sure the best thing on the menu. If I would have only had the Pho it would have been a five star experience. I however had the combination and bbq chicken Banh mi Sandwiches and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring roll was crispy on the outside but still frozen on the inside. They remade it and the outside tasted like burnt oil and the inside was still cold. The Banh mi Sandwiches were full of super fresh veggies, I loved that! The downside is the combination one had no Mayo so I had to ask for some. The other downside was that the bbq chicken one had no sauce at all and very little chicken. In the back, I did see after ordering a few without their masks on (if that's something you need to take in consideration, then take as needed). They woman that took my order, washed her hands and gave me a menu. She wanted to know if there was anything in particular I was looking for and if I would be dinning in or take out (if you do take-out, they ask that you make your order and then return to your car to await for the food). I explained I just wanted something to go and from there I looked over the menu. When I asked about how some of the items were prepared, she quickly explained and never gave any attitude or anything about my many questions. From my questions, she gathered that I wanted something along the lines of vegetarian and suggested about four different dishes that I might like. Since I wasn't tooooo hungry, I went with the Nem Chay Cuốn Bbq Vegi Spring Rolls (2): Soft rice paper wrapped around bbq Vegi, & lettuce, served with house special sauce. Total: $5.41 What a treat! These were so fresh and tasty! Great mixture of herbs, noodles, and tofu. Nothing was too overwhelming - all just right! The dipping sauce!!?! I could drink it (well, maybe just use it on MORE rolls!). From what I gathered from my visit, it was a good spot for something simple. I do have friend that comes here every time they come to town to order their shrimp fried rice - they state it is amazing. So, there are two dishes that I can tell you about - the rolls from my personal experience and the fried rice that my friend raves about without any shame!
