Victoria and Kyle - rude staff
    Jeremy B.

No-Li is a No-Go! After a day at Hoopfest, my wife, my 10-yr-old son, his 10-yr-old friend, and his friend's mom arrived at No-Li. The main beer hall was full of people watching World Cup, but the dining room was nearly empty around 6 p.m. on 6/27/26. The hostess, Victoria, gave us a lukewarm greeting outside the dining room. We told her that we had other people coming and asked if we could get a table for 12. She said that they limited the party size to six. We were puzzled by that given their restaurant space was nearly empty and there were plenty of tables. We would have thought on such a slow night in the restaurant that they would appreciate having a big party that would order lots of food and drinks. We asked if we could go to the outside dining area, but they said that was limited to 18-year-olds and up. So we agreed to just take a table for five and then the other two families could each each get their own table. At the time the two other families were about 15 minutes away, walking there from their hotel on the river. So we sent them a text message saying that No-Li would not allow us to sit together, and that they should each get their own table. In the meantime, our table put in our orders at the bar with Kyle. Kyle was also a bit cold to us when we put in our orders, but we weren't quite sure why. As our food was arriving, the other two families (four adults and three kids) arrived. Victoria met them and told them that she would not seat them, even if broken into two tables, period. She said because they came in together as a party of seven, that she would not seat them at separate tables because they were part of one group exceeding six people. That's when my wife and I got up and joined the conversation at the hostess reception area. We asked, "what if each family had walked in separately, would you have seated them at two tables?" She said yes, but that she already knew they were part of one group and so couldn't seat them... RIDICULOUS, RIGHT?!? IT WAS LIKE WE WERE IN A SEINFELD EPISODE. This is when Kyle (Victoria's manager) got involved. He came out from behind the bar and went to the reception arguing the same absurd points. So we asked to speak to the owner, hoping the owner might have his customers' backs. Victoria and Kyle said he was not around, but instead the owner's son came over and defended their "policy." We argued for a while, but it was no use. The other two families, who had walked 30 minutes to get to No-Li, decided to walk out. My party decided to leave as well. Kyle issued us a refund for our food and drinks and we ended up going to Iron Goat Brewing Co, which treated our families delightfully and gave us great food (and better beer, to be frank). Back to No-Li... I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant before. We felt like second- or third-class citizens. I can only figure that this place, including the ownership, despises kids and larger families. If that's the case, they should just turn it into a 21-and-up establishment. No-Li didn't used to be this way. We had gone there on many visits to Spokane with our kids in previous years. We were able to sit anywhere and were greeted warmly. Our kids would play board games on the patio while my wife and I would sip on beers next to the river. I can't help but wonder, was there an ownership change in the last few years? Anyway, I recommend avoiding this place if you have kids or want to go out on a larger group outing. And even if you have a small group or no kids, I would think twice about going to the kind of place that hires people like Victoria and Kyle (each pictured). My son at Gonzaga is helping spread the word.

This place is so good! One of my favorites in Spokane. It's right in the river and they have outdoor seating with games. Their burgers and sandwiches are good. They have a huge Bier Hall attached to the restaurant. The big juicy and red white and hazy you cannot go wrong with, and I also like porch glow.

Great food and cold beers, can't ask for much more, I recommend any thing they have on the menu!

We ordered Nachos the meat & beans & dip were all cold. They were yucky. Price should have been $10-12 dollars not $23. A bad choice all the way around.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience today because it was genuinely disappointing. Our family has been regulars at No-Li for years and we have easily eaten here 20+ times. Unfortunately, today's visit will be our last. No-Li has shifted to what feels like an anti-family environment, particularly for groups that include children and honestly for larger parties in general. We had a party of 8 and were split into two separate tables in the dining room. When members of our group stood up briefly to check on the other table, we were asked to sit back down. This felt incredibly rigid and uncomfortable, especially given that the brewery was not close to full at the time. What was most surprising is that many of the spaces that used to be fun and flexible are now 18+. For a brewery that has historically been welcoming and community-oriented, the experience felt bizarre and uninviting. The food and beer are fine, but they are not worth an experience that makes families and mixed-age groups feel unwelcome. It's disappointing to lose a place we've loved for years, but we won't be returning if this is the new direction.

Our first time here was amazing! And dog friendly! So 6 stars if I could! will definitely be back

This place is great. Don't let the outside appearance fool you this place is beautiful, well put together, and just a lovely place to have a drink. The beer is delicious but you know that already, and if not get over here and find out for yourself. The staff is kind and enthusiastic and ready to make sure you have a great visit.

Found this place on Yelp looking for a place to kill some time before my flight back home from Spokane. Close to Gonzaga and my hotel (Holiday Inn on the rock). Place is pretty big. I happened to be there just before Oktoberfest season... it's totally set up for such festivities. I had a burger and one of their IPA's indoors in the open area where they were setting up for Oktoberfest festivities for lunch. After my meal I moved to the outside patio area next to the river and worked from my laptop while I had a view of the river. The weather was perfect at the time. I'll definitely be back here when I'm Spokane again.

Food , drinks , service was ALL out of this world perfect! The atmosphere was on point for what we were looking for! Options for sports, music, games for kids, room for children to play.... We hit breweries all over MT and WA and we really loved this one !!!

Any restaurant or bar that doesn't take cash is Busi-non-grata with me. It's un-American not to take cash no matter what the crime situation is. If it's that bad, start electing people who will lock up the criminals so that your business is not at risk of being robbed all the time. Bottom line is the beer is good and the people are very nice, but not taking "legal tender" which is supposed to be good for "all debts public and private" is a non-starter with me. I won't be back until this policy changes.

    Soft Pretzel

No-Li is a classic Spokane brewery! They have a beautiful outdoor patio along with a dining room and an inside game watch room! If you go, I recommend getting the soft pretzel, it's one of the best pretzels I've had! Go get yours now!

Chloe in the Beer Hall is the best. Go see Chloe for the best beer in Spokane!!!

Ask the Community - No-Li Brewhouse

Are you showing the USA World Cup game tonight?

Yes, along with all World Cup matches. It should be a packed house 👍

    Do they serve hard alcohol?

We do not serve liquor. We only serve beer, seltzer, wine & cider!

Are there any non-alcoholic drink options?

    Yes

Can we have our dog on the patio?

Hey Bailey! Service dogs are welcome on our patio!

What are prices like for beer and food? Thinking of bringing an outta town friend to this spot but I'm also balling in a budget?

I would say average for a sit down restaurant. Food ranges from $11-$20ish depending on what you order. Drinks are around $7ish unless you get a flight of beers. Can't go wrong with any of their beers and their food is consistent!

Does anyone know if dogs are allowed at the brewhouse?

One of the photos left by another Yelper said dogs welcome on the patio. So I would check with the business to be sure. It's likely a no dogs indoors/dog welcome outdoors situation.

I don't write a lot of these, so when I do, pay attention!…read more I probably drove by this place 20 times before I actually noticed it. Then, once I noticed it, I didn't go in because I've had mixed experiences with little breweries like this. Eventually, I finally walked through the door, and I'm writing this review to help you not make the same mistake I did . The first thing you notice is how warm and inviting the place is. Wood tables, fun chairs, great music, and plants. So many plants. It feels like an actual neighborhood hangout. Here's the funny part: I can't stand beer. My wife likes it, but my taste buds won't allow it. I'm also a type 2 diabetic, so a lot of the usual brewery food isn't really an option for me. But the first time we came in, I saw things like Caprese Salad, Italian Salad, Smoked Salmon, and other options that actually work for me. And then I discovered they make their own hard seltzers. Game changer! They always have several fun flavors, and they're unsweetened, which is exactly what I'm looking for. You can also get cans to go if you want to bring some home. You can tell the husband and wife owners have put a lot of love into this place. It's comfortable, welcoming, a little quirky, and they've always been incredibly kind. So if you live around here or just driving through, check it out!

I ordered the Fig Sandwich and the Fancy Pants Sando because I could not decide between the two as they both sounded very unique in different ways. I called the place up and arranged to come pick the food up. The person on the phone was very thoughtful in keeping in mind at what time I would arrive so he could arrange for the sandwich to be toasted at the right time. I appreciate small details like that. When I arrived, I noticed there were several tables and a bar where you can essentially get brews and food. I noticed they had several beers on tap which I was very curious about, but unfortunately did not have time to sit down and eat at this establishment. The person at the bar was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. The two sandwiches came up to $40ish. I brought the sandwiches home and first tried a few bites of the Fancy Pants Sando. I will have to say it was the better of the two sandwiches. I appreciated the goat cheese in the sandwich and the mix of different ingredients, but it was not something I would consider to be a great sandwich, at least not for me. Others might find it pleasant, but I did not care for it much. The fig sandwich was the one I was more excited about and expected some sweetness to be cut down by the bacon. I don't think it was a perfect balance between the two, and I got a tad much of the overwhelming sweetness of the figs in this sandwich. Again, others might enjoy it, but I didn't care for it. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but unfortunately it did not meet my expectations. The beer looks fun though and might be a good reason to give this place a try, and you may enjoy their sandwiches and many people have. For me, that's a no-go.

The food prep was impressively fast, and everything was packaged neatly and thoughtfully for takeout. We started with the pretzel, which was solid, but the real standout was the mustard--super unique with a tangy, spicy, almost wasabi-like kick that made it memorable. For mains, the curry dish hit a great balance--flavorful without being overpowering or too mild. And the biggest endorsement came from my daughter, who ordered the kids pasta with marinara and added chicken--she declared it the "best spaghetti she's ever had!" (Shh... don't tell mom.)
