Once the room was at half capacity they closed it down and did not allow the rest of our group to come in. Found this spot for a late dinner/chill for the night on a Saturday. We came at around 830pm and was told they don't serve anything other than shareables or drinks. We got two plates of their wings, one of each sauce (sweet spicy thai and buffalo). Their sweet spicy one tasted great, buffalo was decent nothing special. Their glass of beer was somewhere like $7/8 at 16oz but jug of 64oz is $12?! That's a steal to me it sounds. Got their Corner coast golden ale and Huckleberry seltzer. Not a big beer person but they tasted pretty smooth and great. They have a big patio in the back with seats and overlooking the river. I normally celebrate great experiences because it seems better to direct others to positive experiences than spend time avoiding bad ones. But- this is an establishment you want to avoid. If you don't have time to read this review just save yourself from an awful experience and head over to Iron Goat Brewery. They are incredible and have a true vibe of a brewery where people gather. Also, after reading all the other 1 star reviews it seems this place is committed to their policies. All the 1 star reviews hold the same theme. People were treated like crap at this establishment. Only responses from No-Li to these reviews were "we take these reviews seriously- please contact so and so to discuss". They don't take these responses seriously because the reviews continue to report the exact same awful experiences. So to add one more experience to history of customers visiting this place- here was ours this past weekend. We were visiting Spokane for the weekend and wanted to grab food and drinks on Saturday evening. We landed on No-Li. What unfolded at this establishment was unlike anything we had EVER experienced. Of note, our experience was not unique to us as conversation at the breakfast buffet at our hotel the following morning suggested others had a similarly awful experience. Our experience started off by meeting a hostess/manager by the name of Victoria. I work as a pediatric nurse and my husband is in the service industry as well and we had never encountered such a genuinely mean human being. She was awful. I don't care what policies you are trying to uphold- you can still treat people with dignity, respect, and kindness. Isn't that a universal principle? We walked into the entrance of No-Li and we were a bigger party than 6 (which is their policy- they don't seat parties bigger than 6). We were not requesting to sit together- this is important. We just wanted to eat dinner within our own families who were no bigger than 4 people. The hostess further declined our request and said she could not accommodate smaller tables of parties of 3 or 4 because since we walked in together and we knew each other, we were not allowed in the restaurant. If you know anyone dining in the establishment besides those in your family, forget eating there. They want strangers among strangers. They might as well put partitions between tables. Community is not welcome here. We then asked if a majority of the families left, would they still be willing to seat a family of 4. Victoria, the manager, further declined and said, "I have just decided we can't accommodate any of you tonight". Our minds were blown. She then went on a rant about how it was annoying when families "stay and linger" and take up tables. Are you kidding me??? We said that's discriminating and she wasn't tracking or simply just chose to hold her irrational and obnoxious stance of pride. Of note, there were 3 open tables in the restaurant and it's a no waiter service so it wasn't even like a waiter would have to serve a large group or each of the individual tables. No split checks or anything. You just order at the counter. We then talked to said "son of the owner" and he actually was somewhat reasonable at first. He seemed willing to have a rational meeting of the minds but then after talking with Victoria the hostess, he said he had to stand behind his employee. Unless you plan to go drink alone, this is not a place that supports community, families, or even friends to gather together. And Victoria - I just couldn't believe our interaction with her. How embarrassing for an establishment to have this kind of person as their first encounter to your business. She was demeaning, irrational, rude, and outright a bully. Also, as shared by other reviews, it is a disgrace that No Li "sponsors" Hoopfest because there could not be an institution that is more anti-youth or anti-family than this brewery. At least own the reputation you live out. Don't pretend you are something you aren't. And to the son's owner- just some advice- sometimes it's best to just chalk up a bad hire as a bad hire. How many negative reviews do you need or are you willing to receive? I imagine this brewery was a family dream/hope of a legacy....and you're willing to let someone like this dictate the culture? That's a tragedy. Victoria, the management, and the policies of this establishment are everything college Business Programs teach to avoid for case studies. We even had a business professor in our group with us and their response that night was, "the big picture is totally being missed- this is exactly what we teach our students not to be". This is a great business to teach how to NOT replicate. And Victoria, you must find pleasure in the way you treat others- for your sake and for those in your life, maybe take a look in the mirror and ask yourself if this is truly who you desire to be. I believe there is good in everyone- even someone who is as hard to believe in as you. read more

Food: The drinks and the food are always amazing when we come here. The No-Li burger was reminiscent of a BigMac but elevated. So yummy and the beef is fresh and lighting charred which gives the burger a lot of depth along with the freshness of the chopped lettuce and onions and delicious bigmac style mayo. I also got the garlic parmesan upgraded fries and it was so delicious! There's no going back to regular fries after that. Ambiance: We came on a night after a big watch party and some people had gone but most were in the bier garden. The parking lot looked full and we were afraid it was going to be too packed but because it's so big there's so many different places people can go. Spreading them out and also providing a lot of intimate or social spaces. Yas, we love the versatility. the outside area had a lot of available seating so we felt lucky to get a covered seat with the fire. It was calm, warm, great view of the water and sky, a perfect spot for someone who loves to be outside. Service: One of the things I love most about come to No-Li is almost always the staff seem to really be enjoying their job. I've been here before and had great experiences but did not have that today. We had a larger group and had been told previously we'd have no issue. We showed up and were told that we would not be able to sit in the beirgarden or patio due to having a child with our party (which we understood). However we were also told that the entirety of our group could not sit in the child friendly area, due to the possibility of other groups coming in. We asked and they clarified that no tables were reserved. The manager was extremely hostile and repeated in a very condescending tone that they could not accommodate a group that large and told us we needed to go to flatstick pub. During this time, another large group came in and took several tables with no issues. Went over here because it's frequently listed as one of the best breweries in Spokane and it did not disappoint. I'm not too familiar with beer so I took a while to order, but the cashier was very nice and patient and helped explain a lot of things on the menu. It's a large venue - far larger than we expected. We ended up in their outdoor area that's by the river and it was an excellent place with a peaceful ambiance there. It was perfect for a nice fall day. We ordered the NoLi Pub Platter and it was surprisingly filling - more than enough for a meal for two people. A friend ordered the cider and it was surprisingly good. It is always a great time at No-Li Brewhouse! I have been here numerous times and find that every season this is a great spot to come. Be at a cold day in winter, bring a friend and watch some sports or play some cornhole in their tasting room. It's nicely and cleanly decorated with the modern twist that meets industrial and fits the Pacific Northwest to a "Tee." If you look up, you can see for maps within the Pacific Northwest to celebrate the location as well. Enjoy some of the smaller bites and the tasting room or step into the restaurant and enjoy a meal. Honestly, the service is great and their suggestions and beer are wonderful too. You can enjoy your meal or beer there or ask it to go and pick out your favorite pint or 6 pack, which gives a lot of options!! My favorite season to go is late spring into summer and enjoy relaxing even independently on their patio that also has misters to keep cool, outdoor lawn games and your own private bar while getting to look at the Spokane River.hands down this is a must-go place here in Spokane! read more

Pretty frustrating that as the Bloomsday sponsor they don't reserve cups for each day all weekend. They have run out by 1pm Saturday the last 2 years in a row. The actual event isn't even until Sunday every year. You'd think they would set aside some for each day because some out of towners aren't able to get there two days in advance!! They have been doing the Bloomsday cups every year and it's a known tradition for runners, but it defeats the purpose if you can't even get one after you are done racing!! So disappointing. We stopped going to No-Li over 9 months ago. We are a basketball family with lots of teams and families playing at "The Warehouse". Many times between games all of our family, several teams, all parents and families went to No-Li between games. We spent many thousands of dollars, literally. Their service has gone down so much & they actually aren't accommodating to families anymore. They are strict & rude! And they know it and actually don't encourage young children anymore, unless you strap them to their seats to not move during your entire dining experience there. It has pretty much spread through the entire Warehouse that parents now go elsewhere. I got an update recently on a review I put up about 9 months ago because so many people were agreeing with me about it. So, I decided to post it again. We attended Frostfest at No-Li this weekend, and it was an absolute blast. The event itself was such a great value--a high-quality mug, the coziest winter hat, and an afternoon full of great beer, food, and music. No-Li really knows how to put on an event that feels both festive and welcoming. As for the food and drinks... wow. They still have the best wings in town, no contest. The Salted Caramel Ale ended up being my favorite pour of the day--unique, smooth, and perfect for a winter event like Frostfest. And if you're looking for something to eat, don't miss the smashburger or the nachos. Both were outstanding and exactly what you want alongside a cold pint. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience easy and fun. No-Li continues to be one of the best spots around for community events, great beer, and even better vibes. If you're looking for a spot to celebrate a special occasion--keep looking. Our recent experience was, unfortunately, memorable for all the wrong reasons. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday with a group of 12 and left feeling dismissed, frustrated, and completely unimpressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff made it clear that customer service was not a priority. I asked for help finding a table large enough for our party and was met with a curt, "Did you need something?" before being told to "just sit wherever." After reiterating that we needed seating guidance for a large group, we were eventually pointed toward a separate room--already in use by another party. The lack of assistance was baffling. Things didn't improve once we were seated. A guest with vision issues asked about the nachos and was told they only had meat, cheese, and spicy ranch--yet they showed up with unexpected toppings, including pickled onions. When the mistake was pointed out, the server casually replied, "Well, I really like pickled onions, don't you?" No offer to correct the dish--just a snarky remark and a charge for food that couldn't be eaten. The server boldly stayed she wouldn't be refunding it either. My own burger was made incorrectly after I inquired specifically about the sauce. I was told it was garlic aioli--it wasn't. I didn't even bother raising it after seeing how other concerns were brushed off. And when my drink order was wrong--after confirming it twice--the bartender fixed it without an apology and just moved on. The entire staff seemed either overwhelmed, uninterested, or both. To top it off, I followed up with the owner hoping for acknowledgment or some kind of resolution. Instead, I was met with condescension and excuses. He admitted my burger should've been comped, but made no effort to do so. He blamed poor service on "problem patrons" from previous days, brought up long-past COVID restrictions (from FIVE years ago?) as a reason they're not equipped for large parties, and even questioned where else in town I could've gotten a reservation for 12. (Spoiler alert: I told him exactly where.) Rather than taking accountability or offering a solution, he doubled down on defending his staff and made it clear that customer experience just isn't the focus here. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this one is earned. We wanted to support a local business and enjoy a special night with family. Manager on duty Saturday night of Hoopfest has a lot to learn about customer service (zero flexibility). Three families that knew one another happened to all show up at similar times, which was met with a rigid "no kids table allowed" only "4 people per table" policy. This gentlemen was not willing to have a conversation about how it could work for the paying customers, rather we were met with short claims of "owners strict rules, no exceptions". Rules I understand, and ensuring there's a enough space for patrons is also important. However, there were 4 other booths and multiple tables wide open that they wouldn't let us move to. There was zero "feel" and a complete miss by the manager on duty to read the room and realize suggesting we go elsewhere is probably not the message the owners are looking to send. This guy needs a lesson in leadership and management (disappeared when asked to speak with him)...busy weekends are hard and food service can be challenging, but the customer shouldn't be treated like a nuisance. read more

If you're into beer, this is the place for you! I'm not a beer drinker and yet was tempted to have one! My beer drinking colleagues seemed to enjoy the variety of drinking options. I, on the other hand, am more into the food. And No-Li Brewhouse offered up some tasty options! I went with the Honey mustard chicken sandwich and it was delicious! The chicken cutlet was fried to perfection, juicy and crunchy! Very tender, as well, dressed perfectly with the sauce. Another colleague ordered a different chicken sandwich and we both agreed that the chicken was perfection. The Bavarian pretzel was huge, and came with different dipping options. It tasted just like a pretzel should taste. Good stuff. You order at the counter, but the waitstaff is quick to bring your food and drink. The ambience was fun, too. Lots of different seating available, some inside, some outside along the river. Very cool ambience! This is definitely a fun, trendy place that I would enjoy experiencing again! read more

Super awkward front end service. It's like they don't want business! They have a large space (entire empty rooms of tables but families can't sit in there) yet wouldn't seat our party of SIX at lunch time until the two older grandparents made it inside. So if another party walked up before they made it in from the car we would've lost the table! This was after they'd already tried to turn us away saying it would be 40+ minutes unless we split our group into two sets of three. Lame. They can only accommodate two groups of six at a time and refuse larger parties. They try to claim family friendly...but there's no room for families...just two huge EMPTY rooms they have a sign up that says they won't take any parties larger than 6 and will not seat sports teams at all.
